  • 19d) Ziehen oder Schieben des Stützwalzenwechselstuhls zusammen mit der unteren und oberen Stützwalze von der Zwischenablagestation an eine dritte Position P3 auf dem Drehteller 130;
  • 19e) Drehen des Drehtellers so, dass die dritte Position P3 vor dem ersten oder zweiten Reduziergerüst 116-1, 116-2 steht;
  • 19f) Schieben des Stützwalzen-Wechselstuhls zusammen mit der unteren und oberen Stützwalze 320-1, 320-2 in das Reduziergerüst 116-1, 116-2;
  • 19g) Abheben der oberen neuen Stützwalze von dem Walzenwechselstuhl und Einhängen der oberen Stützwalze in das Reduziergerüst;
  • 19h) Herausziehen der unteren Stützwalze 320-1 mit dem aufgesetzten Stützwalzen-Wechselstuhl aus dem Reduziergerüst 116-1, 116-2;
  • 19i) Abheben des Stützwalzenwechselstuhls von der unteren Stützwalze und auf Drehteller 130 abstellen;
  • 19j) Einschieben und Einbauen der neuen unteren Stützwalze in das Reduziergerüst
oder alternativ zu den Schritten 19a) - 19d), wenn ein Teilbereich des Drehtellers für den Gießhallenkran oder den Kran der Nachbarhalle zugänglich ist:

Claims (20)

  1. Casting and rolling plant (100) for producing hot strip (230-1, 230-2), with a first casting line (110-1) having a first mould (112-1) for producing a first cast strip (210-1), a first strip guide (114-1), which is downstream of the first mould in casting direction (R), for deflecting the cast strip from the vertical to the horizontal, a first reducing stand (116-1) for reducing the thickness of the first cast strip and a first casting platform (118-1) which covers the first strip guide (114-1) and at least parts of the first reducing stand (116-1);
    a second casting line (110-2) having a second mould (112-2 for producing a second cast strip (210-2), a second strip guide (114-2), which is downstream of the second mould in casting direction, for deflecting the second cast strip from the vertical to the horizontal, a second reducing stand (116-2) for reducing the thickness of the second cast strip (210-2) and a second casting platform which covers the second strip guide (114-2) and at least parts of the second reducing stand (116-2);
    at least one distributor device (120) for supplying the first and second moulds (112-1, 112-2) with metal melts; and
    a roll change device (130) for changing the rolls of the first and second reducing stands (116-1, 116-2);
    wherein the two casting lines are arranged parallelly to and at a spacing from one another; characterised in that
    the first and second reducing stands (116-1, 116-2) are installed in such a way that the operating sides (BS-1; BS-2) thereof are each disposed in the intermediate space (300) between the two casting lines (110-1, 110-2); and
    the roll change device is constructed in the form of a turntable (130) and is arranged in the intermediate space between the two casting lines at a level between the two reducing stands (116-1, 116-2).
  2. Casting and rolling plant (100) according to claim 1, characterised by
    a casting bay (138) in which, inter alia, the moulds, the strip guides and the reducing stands of the two casting lines and a casting bay crane (190) are arranged; and
    a neighbouring bay (140), which adjoins the casting bay (138) in casting direction (R), similarly with a crane (142).
  3. Casting and rolling plant (100) according to claim 2, characterised in that the turntable (130) is so positioned between the two casting lines (110-1, 110-2) that at least a sub-region (132) of the turntable is accessible to the casting bay crane (190) or the crane (142) of the neighbouring bay.
  4. Casting and rolling plant (100) according to claim 2 or 3, characterised in that
    an intermediate deposit station (150) for the rolls, for example work rolls and backing rolls, of the first and second reducing stands (116-1, 116-2) is provided in the neighbouring bay (140) between the two casting lines (110-1, 110-2) and, as seen in casting direction (R), behind the turntable (130), preferably directly adjacent to the periphery thereof, and is accessible to the crane (142) of the neighbouring bay (140), wherein the crane (142) serves for delivery of new or overhauled rolls to and transport away of worn rolls from the intermediate deposit station.
  5. Casting and rolling plant (100) according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
    the turntable (130) is constructed to be rotatable about a stationary axis (134) of rotation.
  6. Casting and rolling plant (100) according to claim 5, characterised in that
    the first and second reducing stands are each arranged at the same level in the first and second casting lines so that the respective vertical centre planes (M1, M2) thereof coincide; and
    the turntable (130) is so arranged between the two casting lines that the axis (134) of rotation thereof lies in the coinciding centre planes (M1, M2) of the first and second reducing stands (116-1, 116-2).
  7. Casting and rolling plant (100) according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
    the radius (r) of the turntable (130) is of such a size that the turntable reaches by the periphery thereof up to the first and second reducing stands (116-1, 116-2).
  8. Casting and rolling plant (100) according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
    the first reducing stand (116-1) is arranged directly behind the outlet of the first strip guide (114-1) in casting direction (R) and the second reducing stand (116-2) is arranged directly behind the outlet of the second strip guide (114-2) in the casting direction (R).
  9. Casting and rolling plant (100) according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
    pulling and pushing equipment (160) is provided, for example in the form of a roll change locomotive or a hydraulic cylinder, for movement of the rolls out of the first or second reducing stand (116-1, 116-2) onto the turntable (130) or for movement of the rolls from the turntable into the first or second reducing stand or for movement of the rolls between the turntable (13) and the intermediate deposit station (150, wherein the pulling and pushing equipment (160) is preferably arranged on the turntable (130).
  10. Casting and rolling plant (100) according to claim 9, characterised in that
    the turntable (130) in the region of its axis (134) of rotation has an opening (136) or is formed to be tubular for the passage of energy lines or media lines to the pulling and pushing equipment (160).
  11. Casting and rolling plant (100) according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
    the turntable (130) has an upper plane with positions for reception of the work rolls and a lower plane with positions for reception of further rolls, for example backing rolls, from at least one of the two reducing stands.
  12. Casting and rolling plant (100) according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
    the first and second casting platforms (118-1) are constructed in the form of a common casting platform (118) which bridges over the first and second casting lines (110-1, 110-2) transversely to the casting direction (R).
  13. Casting and rolling plant (100) according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
    the first and second casting lines (110-1, 110-2) are each constructed as a compact strip production plant.
  14. Method for demounting at least one of the used work rolls (310) from one of the two reducing stands (116-1, 116-2) of the casting and rolling plant (100) according to claim 4, comprising the following steps:
    14a) rotating the turntable (130) so that a free second position (P2) is present on the turntable in front of the first or second reducing stand (116-1, 116-2) for reception of the worn work rolls;
    14b) withdrawing the at least one worn work roll (310) with the help of the pulling and
    pushing equipment (160) from the first or second reducing stand onto the turntable (13) in the second position (P2);
    14c) rotating the turntable so that the second position (P2), which is occupied by the at least one worn working roll (310), is opposite the intermediate deposit station (150);
    14d) pulling or pushing the at least one worn work roll (310) from the turntable (130) onto the intermediate deposit station (150); and
    14e) transporting the worn work roll (310) away from the intermediate deposit station (150) by the crane (142) of the neighbouring bay (140) into a roll workshop; or
    alternatively to the steps 14d) and 14e), if a sub-region (150) of the turntable (130) is accessible to the casting bay crane or the crane of the neighbouring bay:
    14d') transporting the worn work rolls (310) away from the turntable (130) by the casting bay crane (190) or the crane (142) of the neighbouring bay.
  15. Method of installing at least one new work roll (310) in the reducing stand (116-1, 116-2) of the casting and rolling plant according to claim 4, comprising the following steps:
    15a) carrying out at least the steps 14a) and 14b), optionally also in addition the steps 14c) to 14e) or 14c) and 14d');
    15b) depositing the at least one new work roll (310) with the help of the crane of the neighbouring bay (140) on the intermediate deposit station (150);
    15c1) rotating the turntable (130) so that a first position (P1) for reception of the at least one new work roll (310) is opposite the intermediate deposit station (150); and
    15c2) pulling or pushing the at least one new work roll (310) with the help of the pushing and pulling equipment (160) from the intermediate deposit station until it is completely in the first position (P1) on the turntable;
    15d) rotating the turntable so that the first position, which is occupied by the at least one new work roll (310), is in front of the first or second reducing stand (116-1, 116-2), from which the at least one worn work roll was previously withdrawn;
    15e) pushing the at least one new work roll (310) with the help of the pushing and pulling equipment (160) into the reducing stand (116-1, 116-2); or
    alternatively to the steps 15b) - 15c2), if a sub-region of the turntable is accessible to the casting bay crane or the crane of the neighbouring bay:
    15b') rotating the turntable (130) so that a first position (P1) on the turntable for reception of the at least one new work roll (310) is accessible to the crane (142) of the rolling bay; and
    15c') depositing the at least one new work roll (310) with the help of the casting bay crane or the crane (142) of the neighbouring bay (140) on the first position on the turntable.
  16. Method of demounting worn backing rolls (320) from a reducing stand (116-1, 116-2) of a casting and rolling plant according to claim 4, comprising the following steps:
    16a) optionally: advance positioning of a backing roll support chair on the turntable (130);
    16b) rotating the turntable so that a free third position (P3) is present on the turntable in front of the first or second reducing stand (116-1, 116-2) for reception of the worn backing rolls;
    16c) withdrawing the lower backing roll (320-1) from the reducing stand into the third position (P3) on the turntable (130);
    16d) depositing the backing roll change chair on the worn lower backing roll (320-1) in the third position (P3);
    16e) moving the worn lower backing roll (320-1) together with the deposited backing roll change chair into the reducing stand (116-1, 116-2);
    16f) in the reducing stand: depositing the worn upper backing roll (320-2) on the backing roll change chair;
    16g) withdrawing the upper and lower backing rolls together with the backing roll change chair from the reducing stand to the third position (P3) on the turntable (130);
    16h) rotating the turntable (130) so that the third position is opposite the roll intermediate deposit station (150);
    16i) pushing or pulling the backing roll change chair together with the two backing rolls from the turntable onto the intermediate deposit station (150); and
    16j) transporting the upper backing roll (320-2), the backing roll change chair and the lower backing roll (320-1) in succession by the crane (142) of the rolling bay away from the intermediate deposit station; or
    alternatively to the steps 16h) - 16j), if a sub-region (150) of the turntable (130), is accessible to the casting bay crane or the crane of the neighbouring bay:
    16i') transporting the upper backing roll (320-2), the backing roll change chair and the lower backing roll (320-1) in succession by the casting bay crane (190) or the crane (142) of the neighbouring bay (140) away to the roll workshop.
  17. Method according to claim 16, characterised in that
    step 16c) and the succeeding steps are carried out only after the two work rolls (310) have been demounted beforehand, for example in accordance with the method according to claim 14, from the reducing stand (116-1, 116-2).
  18. Method according to claim 16 or 17, characterised in that
    if the backing roll change chair has already been placed at the third position (P3) on the turntable (130) in the course of step 16a) then prior to carrying out step 16c) it is raised and after step 16c) has been carried out it is lowered in the course of step 16d) onto the worn lower backing roll.
  19. Method of installing new backing rolls (320) in a reducing stand (116-1, 116-2) of a casting and rolling plant (100) according to claim 4, comprising the following steps:
    19a) transporting a new lower backing roll (320-1) onto the intermediate deposit station (150) with the help of the crane (142) of the neighbouring bay;
    19b) depositing a backing roll change chair on the new lower backing roll (320-1) on the intermediate deposit station (150) with the help of the crane (142) of the neighbouring bay;
    19c) depositing a new upper backing roll (320-2) on the backing roll change chair with the help of the crane (142) of the neighbouring bay;
    19d) pulling or pushing the backing roll change chair together with the lower and upper backing rolls from the intermediate deposit station to a third position (P3) on the turntable (130);
    19e) rotating the turntable so that the third position (P3) is present in front of the first or second reducing stand (116-1. 116-2);
    19f) pushing the backing roll change chair together with the lower and upper backing rolls (320-1, 320-2) into the reducing stand (116-1, 116-2);
    19g) raising the upper new backing roll from the backing roll change chair and suspending the upper backing roll in the reducing stand;
    19h) withdrawing the lower backing roll (320-1) together with the deposited backing roll change chair from the reducing stand (116-1, 116-2);
    19i) raising the backing roll change chair from the lower backing roll and depositing the backing roll change chair on the turntable (130);
    19j) pushing the new lower backing roll (320-1) into and installing it in the reducing stand; or
    alternatively to steps 19a) - 19d), if a sub-region of the turntable is accessible to the casting bay crane or the crane of the neighbouring bay:
    19a') transporting a new lower backing roll (320-1) with the help of the casting bay crane or the crane of the neighbouring bay onto the turntable (130);
    19b') depositing a backing roll change chair on the new lower backing roll on the turntable with the help of the casting bay crane or the crane of neighbouring bay; and
    19c') depositing a new upper backing roll (320-2) on the backing roll change chair with the help of the casting bay crane or the crane of the neighbouring bay.
  20. Method according to claim 19, characterised in that
    the installation of the new backing roll in accordance with the method according to claim 19 is carried out only after the worn work rolls (310) and the worn backing rolls have been previously demounted from the reducing stand, for example in accordance with the method according to claims 14 and 16.
