Definitions
- the invention relates to an inliner for lining a mixed container, as they are used in industrial mixing machines.
- the invention relates to an inliner for lining a top side of a filling opening and a radially outwardly projecting flange and the underside an outlet channel with therein from an open position to a closed position and vice versa adjustable outlet flap having mixing container, for the operation of the Mixing of therein introduced pourable mix to a one or more mixing tools supporting mixing head of an industrial mixing machine can be connected, which inliner on the upper side a radially outwardly projecting and, when used in the mixing container, for abutment with the flange of the mixing container reaching flange carries and the underside having a projecting into the outlet channel of the mixing container outlet channel extension, which extends with such a length in the outlet channel of the mixing container that this is at least up to the befin in its closed position dlichen outlet flap is enough.
- an arrangement comprising a mixing container with an inliner inserted there
- Such a mixing container is a roundish steel container. This has on the upper side a filling opening and in the region of its upper end on an outwardly projecting container flange.
- Such a mixing container usually has an upper cylindrical portion, adjacent to the down to a discharge opening towards a conical-shaped portion, through the manner of a funnel, the inner diameter of the mixing container to the underside arranged outlet channel tapers. Within the outlet channel an outlet flap is arranged. This is mounted on an axle and can be adjusted between an open position and a closed position and vice versa.
- the outlet channel also typically has a circular cross-sectional area.
- the correspondingly circular or with a certain ovality respects their outer contour manufactured run-up flap carries on the outside circumferentially a seal which acts in the closed position of the outlet flap against the inner wall of the bake channel.
- the mixing container is then closed.
- the mixing container is connected with its container flange to the complementary flange of a mixing head of an industrial mixing machine.
- the mixing head itself carries one or more mixing tools. If the mixing container filled with the mixture to be mixed is connected to the mixing head, this unit is rotated by about 180 degrees so that the mixing head is at the bottom and the mixing container is at the top. In this position, the mix initially located in the mixing container falls on the mixing tools.
- the mixing chamber in which the mix is mixed, is thus formed from the space provided by the mixing container cavity and that of the mixing head.
- the at least one mixing tool is rotationally driven and generates a mixed material flow in the mixing space formed by the mixing container and the mixing head, typically in the manner of a thrombus.
- a certain heat input into the mix is unavoidable when performing a mixing due to shear forces occurring especially between the one or more mixing tools and the particles of the mix, but also when hitting Mischgutpellen on the inner wall of the mixing container. This sometimes leads to material caking on the mixing container wall, especially in those areas on which the mixed material stream impinges.
- This known inliner has on its underside an outlet extension with an end-side flange, which is passed through a corresponding opening in the mixing container, so that the outside flange bears against the outside of the mixing container.
- This outlet opening of the inliner is arranged in the region of a dispensing valve.
- the dispensing valve is a stopper which is inserted from the outside into the dispensing opening of the mixing container, which is completely lined with the inliner. A controlled output is not possible by such an outlet.
- an assembly of the inliner with its through the outlet opening of the mixing container extending through extension is considered cumbersome.
- US 5,727,878 Another flexible inliner for use in a mixed container is out US 5,727,878 known.
- US 6,505,657 B1 known inliner has the in US 5,727,878 described inliner does not have an outlet opening.
- US 2,797,903 describes an inliner for a mixing machine with a lower-side outlet opening into which the inliner, however, does not extend. Based on this discussed prior art, the invention is therefore based on the object to propose a solution, whereby the cleaning of a mixing container is considerably simplified.
- an inliner for lining a top side of a filling opening and a radially outwardly projecting flange and the underside an outlet channel with a therein from an open position to a closed position and reversibly adjustable outlet flap having mixing container, wherein the outlet channel extension of the inliner has diametrically opposite Achsaus traditions, are provided by the two extending over the outlet flap of the mixing container in its closed position extending clamping extensions.
- the inside wall of the mixing container does not come into contact with the mix, especially during the mixing process.
- the inliner itself is a component typically made of a film which can be used for one or more mixing processes with the same mix.
- Such an inliner is typically a disposable product and can be produced particularly inexpensively, for example, from plastic. It is envisaged that the inliner after a mixing process, when subsequently another mixture is to be mixed, is removed from the mixing container and disposed of.
- the inliner itself is detachably inserted into the cavity of the mixing container.
- the cleaning of the mixing container itself is therefore basically limited to the area of the outlet flap or the outlet channel. Since these are not flowed through in a mixing process of the Mischgutstrom, at least not directly, no caking can occur on this. Accordingly easy is the cleaning. Typically, a simple wiping of the mixing container is sufficient to remove remaining Mischgutp
- the decisive factor is that not only the time for cleaning the mixing container itself has been significantly reduced, but also a costly cleaning of the cleaning liquid before it can be disposed of, is eliminated. Some users of such industrial mixing machines have washing facilities for washing out the used mixing containers. The resulting cleaning liquid must be specially disposed of or in turn cleaned. When using a low-cost, designed as inliner disposable product, this problem does not exist.
- Such an inliner corresponds in terms of its dimensions to the dimensions of the cavity of the mixing container. Without much effort, such an inliner can be made from a suitable plastic. Typically, the plastic used to make the liner is inert with respect to the mix to be blended therein. Particularly advantageous is the use of a polyethylene material, in particular a so-called LDPE for the production of the inliner. An LDPE material for the production of the inliner is especially suitable if color pigments are to be mixed in the inliner.
- the wall thickness of the inliner used is sufficient to withstand the stresses occurring during the mixing process. This relates to a certain temperature resistance as well as a sufficient mechanical stability with respect to the mixed material particles impinging thereon in the course of the mixing process. Therefore you will not choose the wall thicknesses too thin. Typical is a wall thickness of about 0.5 to 1.5 mm.
- inliner can be made in one piece, it is also possible to assemble this from several individual parts. These are then preferably welded together. In the case of an inliner with an upper cylindrical section, a conically tapered section adjoining thereto and an outlet channel, this will be produced in four parts, which are then joined together by welding. These items are the upper cylindrical portion, the tapered portion, the cylindrical outlet channel portion, and the flange disposed externally with respect to the filler opening.
- a made of a steel mixing container 1 sits on a carriage 2.
- the carriage 2 is used to move the mixing container 1.
- the mixing container 1 summarizes a cavity 3 a.
- the mixing container 1 is open on the upper side, wherein the upper opening serves as a filling opening 4.
- the filling opening 4 is bordered in the radial direction to the outside by a radially projecting Mischcontainerflansch 5.
- the flange 5 serves to connect the mixing container 1 to a mixing head of an industrial mixing machine carrying one or more mixing tools.
- the adjacent to the flange 5 section 6 of the mixing container 1 is designed annular cylindrical. At this bordering the underside of an inner width of the annular cylindrical portion 6 tapering section 7, which merges into a lower outlet channel 8.
- an outlet flap is arranged, which can be adjusted between an open position and a closed position and vice versa.
- the outlet flap is adjustable by a pivoting movement.
- the pivot axis is in FIG. 1 indicated by the reference numeral 9.
- To adjust the outlet flap is a handle 10. In the closed position of the outlet flap this is sealed against the inner wall of the outlet channel 8 at. In the open position, the plane of the outlet flap 8 extends parallel or approximately parallel to the inner wall of the outlet channel 8.
- mixing container 1 is ultimately one such as this is known and is often already used.
- an inliner 11 Before mixing material to be mixed is introduced into the cavity 3 of the mixing container 1 when the outlet flap is closed, an inliner 11 is inserted into the mixing container 1.
- the inliner 11 thus dresses in the manner of a Protective film the interior of the mixing container 1 completely.
- the size and dimension of the inliner 11 is adapted to the size of the interior 3 of the mixing container 1.
- the inliner 11 rests with its outer side against the inner wall of the mixing container 1.
- the inliner 11 likewise has a ring-cylindrical section 12, a tapered section 13 adjoining thereto and an outlet channel extension 14, which extends into the outlet channel 8 of the mixing container 1.
- the outlet channel extension 14 extends beyond the outlet flap into the outlet channel 8.
- the inliner 11 of the illustrated embodiment consists of a low density polyethylene - a so-called LDPE.
- the inliner 11 is composed of four individual prefabricated parts, which are joined together by welding.
- the items are the outlet channel extension 14, the two sections 12, 13 and the clamping flange 17.
- the costs for the production of the liner 11 are very low, compared to the costs associated with the cost of cleaning the interior of the mixing container 1 after a Mixing process are connected.
- the inliner shown in the figures is a disposable product. This is designed so that in principle a mixing process can be performed.
- the inliner 11 can also be left in the mixing container 1 after a first mixing operation, if several consecutively Batches one and the same mix in the mixing container 1 to be mixed.
- the design of the inliner 11 in the illustrated embodiment is provided such that it can be used for several mixing operations.
- FIG. 2 shows the mixing container 1, connected to the mixing head 18 of an industrial mixing machine 19. Within the mixing head are set in rotary motion displaceable mixing tools. An electric motor 20 is used for driving the same.
- the mixing container 1 is brought with its previously inserted therein inliner 11 and the filled mix with its flange 5 to a complementary flange 21 of the mixing head 18 and is pressed by a clamping device 22 against the mixing head flange 21. Between the two flanges 5, 21 of the clamping flange 17 of the inliner 11 is turned on. If it is not possible to dispense with a seal which is otherwise required between the flanges 5, 21, it is provided according to a further development to apply such to the flange 17 of the inliner, for example by vulcanization.
- a mixing chamber formed by the cavity 3 of the mixing container 1 and the interior of the mixing head 18 is built up with a certain overpressure. This serves the purpose that the inliner 11 remains for the process of mixing in its contact position on the inner wall of the mixing container 1, so as not to hinder the mixing process.

Industrial mixers of the type in question are used for mixing pourable mix. A typical application of such mixing machines is the mixing of color pigments or the provision of plastic granules, as they are needed by the plastics processing industry as a raw material. Such a mixing container is a roundish steel container. This has on the upper side a filling opening and in the region of its upper end on an outwardly projecting container flange. Such a mixing container usually has an upper cylindrical portion, adjacent to the down to a discharge opening towards a conical-shaped portion, through the manner of a funnel, the inner diameter of the mixing container to the underside arranged outlet channel tapers. Within the outlet channel an outlet flap is arranged. This is mounted on an axle and can be adjusted between an open position and a closed position and vice versa. The outlet channel also typically has a circular cross-sectional area. The correspondingly circular or with a certain ovality respects their outer contour manufactured run-up flap carries on the outside circumferentially a seal which acts in the closed position of the outlet flap against the inner wall of the bake channel. The mixing container is then closed. For mixing, the mixing container is connected with its container flange to the complementary flange of a mixing head of an industrial mixing machine. The mixing head itself carries one or more mixing tools. If the mixing container filled with the mixture to be mixed is connected to the mixing head, this unit is rotated by about 180 degrees so that the mixing head is at the bottom and the mixing container is at the top. In this position, the mix initially located in the mixing container falls on the mixing tools. The mixing chamber, in which the mix is mixed, is thus formed from the space provided by the mixing container cavity and that of the mixing head. For the process of mixing, the at least one mixing tool is rotationally driven and generates a mixed material flow in the mixing space formed by the mixing container and the mixing head, typically in the manner of a thrombus. As a rule, a certain heat input into the mix is unavoidable when performing a mixing due to shear forces occurring especially between the one or more mixing tools and the particles of the mix, but also when hitting Mischgutpartikeln on the inner wall of the mixing container. This sometimes leads to material caking on the mixing container wall, especially in those areas on which the mixed material stream impinges.

Based on this discussed prior art, the invention is therefore based on the object to propose a solution, whereby the cleaning of a mixing container is considerably simplified.
This object is achieved according to the invention by an inliner for lining a top side of a filling opening and a radially outwardly projecting flange and the underside an outlet channel with a therein from an open position to a closed position and reversibly adjustable outlet flap having mixing container, wherein the outlet channel extension of the inliner has diametrically opposite Achsausnehmungen, are provided by the two extending over the outlet flap of the mixing container in its closed position extending clamping extensions.
By using an inliner lining the interior wall of the mixing container, the inside wall of the mixing container does not come into contact with the mix, especially during the mixing process. As a result, wall caking, as they occur, form on the inside of the liner and not on the inside wall of the mixing container. The inliner itself is a component typically made of a film which can be used for one or more mixing processes with the same mix. Such an inliner is typically a disposable product and can be produced particularly inexpensively, for example, from plastic. It is envisaged that the inliner after a mixing process, when subsequently another mixture is to be mixed, is removed from the mixing container and disposed of. The inliner itself is detachably inserted into the cavity of the mixing container.
The cleaning of the mixing container itself is therefore basically limited to the area of the outlet flap or the outlet channel. Since these are not flowed through in a mixing process of the Mischgutstrom, at least not directly, no caking can occur on this. Accordingly easy is the cleaning. Typically, a simple wiping of the mixing container is sufficient to remove remaining Mischgutpartikel. The decisive factor is that not only the time for cleaning the mixing container itself has been significantly reduced, but also a costly cleaning of the cleaning liquid before it can be disposed of, is eliminated. Some users of such industrial mixing machines have washing facilities for washing out the used mixing containers. The resulting cleaning liquid must be specially disposed of or in turn cleaned. When using a low-cost, designed as inliner disposable product, this problem does not exist.
Such an inliner corresponds in terms of its dimensions to the dimensions of the cavity of the mixing container. The wall thickness of the inliner used is sufficient to withstand the stresses occurring during the mixing process.
Although in principle such an inliner can be made in one piece, it is also possible to assemble this from several individual parts.
- Providing a mixing container with an upper-side filling opening and a flange protruding outwards in the radial direction and having a discharge channel arranged on the underside with an outlet flap adjustably arranged from an open position and a closed position and vice versa;
- Inserting an inliner in the mixing container for lining its inner wall and its outlet channel, reaching at least to the outlet flap in its closed position,
- Closing the outlet flap of the mixing container and pinching the one or more components of the outlet channel extension of the inliner extending between the outlet flap and the inner wall of the outlet channel extending to the outlet flap,
- Filling the mixing container lined with the inliner with the mixture to be mixed through the upper filling opening,
- Connecting the mixing container to the mixing head of an industrial mixing machine, in which process the outwardly facing flange of the inliner is clamped between the mixing container flange and a complementary flange arranged at the mixing head,
- Build-up of an overpressure within the mixing chamber formed by the mixing container with its inliner and the mixing head,
- Carrying out the mixing process, typically in an overhead arrangement of mixing container and mixing head, wherein the mixing head is arranged below the mixing container,
- After completion of the mixing process: Remove the container from the mixing head and emptying it by opening the outlet flap and leakage of the mixed mix and
- then - if necessary - removal of the inliner, wherein this is done when in the mixing container then another mix is to be mixed.

FIG. 1 with the inliners inserted therein, connected to the mixing head of an industrial mixing machine.
The
After connection of the mixing
Before initiating the mixing process, a mixing chamber formed by the
