Mixing apparatus (200), which comprises: - a frame (2) extending in the vertical direction (Y); -a mixing vessel (4); -a holder (6) configured to support the mixing vessel (4), the holder comprising a support element (8) for supporting the mixing vessel (4); - a stirrer (10) comprising a number of stirrer arms (12); - a motor (14) for stirring the agitator (10); - an elevation device (16); where the holder (6) is connected to the frame (2) via coupling means (18) in such a way that the elevation device (16), upon actuation thereof, is able to change configuration between a lowered position for the holder (6) and a raised position of the holder (6); — where the mixing vessel (4) is configured to be removably arranged in the holder (6) therefore; where the mixing vessel (4) in a lower part comprises an outlet (20) in the form of a continuous opening 22); where the support element (8) of the holder (6) comprises a continuous opening (24); wherein the holder (6) comprises a valve (26) configured to switch between an — open configuration and a closed configuration; wherein the valve (26) in its open configuration is configured to provide a passage through the through opening (24) in the carrier support member (8) and wherein the valve (26) in its closed configuration shields said passage; where the motor (14) is arranged in a position above the mixing vessel (4) when the mixing vessel is — arranged in the holder (6) therefore; where the stirrer (10) in the raised position of the holder is arranged in the interior (28) of the mixing vessel (4) when the mixing vessel (4) is arranged in the holder (6). 2.
