Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a structural element for connecting a shaft structure to a traffic area surrounding the shaft structure, having a first and a second end face, a front and a rear side, and a lower and a upper side according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Compactable asphalt pavements are bituminous mixtures of aggregates and bitumen as a binder, which complies with the applicable rules and regulations.
  • the bituminous mixture is applied to the traffic area in a hot condition and is compulsorily fed to compaction by means of compactors.
  • Mastic asphalt is a mixture of fine and coarse aggregates with bituminous binders, such as road construction bitumen acc. ⁇ norm B3610 or polymer modified bitumen acc. ⁇ norm B3613, which is cast in viscous form and also forms a road surface after cooling. In contrast to the above-mentioned asphalt coverings, no compaction is required when using mastic asphalt.
  • bituminous binders such as road construction bitumen acc. ⁇ norm B3610 or polymer modified bitumen acc. ⁇ norm B3613
  • the traffic areas are provided in mostly irregular intervals with vertical from the road surface downwardly extending, substantially cylindrical shape having shaft structures, which have a shaft structure, which will be discussed in more detail later and a passable / accessible Have manhole cover.
  • the manhole covers are planned according to the level of the surrounding road surface to ensure the least possible unevenness when crossing the manhole cover.
  • the present invention aims to prevent or minimize the effects of the mentioned types of damage.
  • both ongoing maintenance measures can be reduced and the service life of the shaft structure and traffic area can be increased.
  • manhole cover, as one of several, the shaft structure constituent components, as well as the components used for connection are actually part of the traffic surface itself, is for the purposes of the present application under traffic area that, the shaft structure or its components and the components surrounding Traffic surface understood.
  • the paving stones are the shaft structure surrounding, often along a circle, lined up, and connected to each other by means of a connector, preferably plaster joint mortar or Bitumenvergussmasse and connected to the shaft structure on the one hand and the traffic area on the other.
  • a connector preferably plaster joint mortar or Bitumenvergussmasse
  • paving stones are produced in diced form. Nevertheless, in order to connect shaft structures of different sizes to traffic areas, the paving stones must be made relatively small in order to be flexible in this regard and to optimally enclose and even connect small sizes of the shaft structures.
  • the smaller the paving stones the higher the laying effort and the thinner the load-bearing layer that they themselves represent. Small stone formats can not contribute to reducing the relative movement between manhole structure and traffic area, so that the damage described above is only slightly reduced.
  • paving stones generally have a polishable surface which, in turn, is a risk factor especially for single-lane vehicles. Cracks within the paving stone construction also shorten their life, since the penetration and freezing of water whose weathering, for example by breaking open the paving stone construction, is accelerated. Also, modification work is difficult because the entire paving stone construction forms a relatively rigid unit, so that individual paving stones are difficult to replace this.
  • the invention has the object to provide an arrangement for connecting a shaft structure to a shaft structure surrounding traffic area available, which ensures a stable and weather-resistant connection, can be used for different manhole structures and can be produced by the application of optimized methods.
  • a further object of the present invention is to provide a method for connecting a shaft structure to a traffic area surrounding the shaft structure.
  • a component for connecting a shaft structure to a traffic area surrounding the shaft structure with a first and second end face, a front and a rear side, and a bottom and a top characterized in that it is at the component of a Mastic asphalt manufactured molded component acts.
  • molded component is understood to mean a component which, in addition to the usual cuboidal shape of conventional components, such as, for example, the paving stones mentioned, may also have different shapes from those.
  • the production of the mold components according to the invention is carried out by casting in a mold, preferably made of steel. The mixture is pourable and spreadable when hot before curing, and requires no condensation work to cure it.
  • the thus-obtained molded component is characterized particularly easy to manufacture, and can be made largely free depending on the mold in its shape.
  • the profile of the second end face can essentially represent the negative contour of the first end side, wherein the negative contour of the first end face is understood to mean the profile of a shape which, when attached to the first end face, covers it in a form-fitting manner and without leaving behind opening areas.
  • Inventive mold components are thus directly and form-fitting can be connected to each other and particularly easy to install.
  • the use of molded components made of mastic asphalt is particularly advantageous when the mold is used in connection with a traffic area made of asphalt (mastic asphalt or compactable asphalt mixes).
  • Form components according to the invention have in this case the largely same modulus of elasticity as the surrounding traffic surface, whereby a relative shift to the asphalt and the associated ramp formation is minimized.
  • the formation of cracks is largely avoided, which is associated with lower wear, increased weather resistance, increased safety and increased ease of use.
  • the proposed mold components made of mastic asphalt are easy to machine and can be milled, for example, in conventional repair work such as conventional asphalt.
  • mold components according to the invention made of mastic asphalt in different sizes can be produced, whereby they can be used for sheathing for various manhole structures.
  • the first and the second end face of a molded component according to the invention in a viewing direction parallel to respective end face in each case a stepped profile, each with at least one step, wherein the edge of the at least one step from the front to the back runs continuously.
  • the at least one step of the first end face is arranged such that its edge is visible in a plan view of the top of the mold component, and that the edge of the at least one step of the second end face is visible in a plan view of the underside of the mold component. In this way, in the case of a juxtaposition of the mold components, the formation of a toothing ensures that enables a stable connection of the mold components.
  • the profile of the first end face exactly two stages and the profile of the second end face exactly one step.
  • the two stages of the first end face are preferably arranged such that their edges are visible in a plan view of the top of the mold component and the one end of the second end preferably arranged such that its edge is visible in a plan view of the underside of the mold component.
  • a plan view of the front side of the molded component therefore shows a shape that is substantially similar to a parallelogram.
  • a first normal distance between the upper side of the molded component and the edge of the uppermost step of the first end face is smaller than a second normal distance between the upper side and the edge of the step of the second end face.
  • a third normal distance between the underside of the mold component and the edge of the bottom is smaller than a fourth normal distance between the bottom and the edge of the step of the second end side, further that the depth of the top nearest step of the first end side is lower than the depth of the closest to the bottom step of the first end face , and in that the depth of the first endmost step of the first end face is preferably equal to the depth of the second end face step, the depths of the steps being measured along each of the same parallels to the front side.
  • Each of these features helps to more closely determine the geometry of the molded component, in particular the geometry of the front sides of the mold component and thus successively improve the teeth during installation, to allow a particularly dense and mechanically stable connection of the mold components, in particular when juxtaposing the mold components to ensure the formation of a Vergussfuge on the surface formed by the mold components, without thereby preventing the frontal contact between individual mold components.
  • the front and rear sides of the molded components are parallel to one another, and each form a section of a cylinder jacket.
  • the latter feature contributes to the fact that a self-contained circular ring of molded components can be created by appropriate juxtaposition of molded components.
  • a mold component according to the invention is closed on all sides.
  • a closed structure is also easy to implement and low production costs.
  • the top of the molded component from the solidified mastic asphalt outstanding, coarse-grained elements, preferably hard chippings, in order to make the surface rough and handy. This can additionally reduce the risk of accidents when walking or otherwise crossing the mold component.
  • the problem underlying the invention is further solved by an arrangement for connecting a shaft structure to the traffic area surrounding the shaft structure, wherein the arrangement comprises a plurality of mold elements according to the invention, which are arranged completely surrounding the shaft structure between this and the traffic area, wherein the first end face a mold component, the second end face of another mold component of the plurality of mold members is contacted at least along a portion or edge and connected to a connecting means and the front sides of the plurality of mold members are connected via a further connecting means to the manhole structure preferably the manhole frame and the rear sides of Most of the mold components are connected via an additional connection means with the traffic area.
  • the above-mentioned bonding agents are commercially available hot bitumen casting compounds with polymer-modified bitumen. This is for the dense Connection of the mold components particularly well suited because it has water-repellent properties, can be cast in a simple manner hot in joints and this melting and sealing closes, but also has good mechanical properties, as they are necessary for the connection of mold components together.
