Definitions

  • the present invention is a Kombiski, with which both the walking and climbing and the sliding and driving on snow is possible, and without mounting and dismounting of an additional device.
  • Touring skis are still used for tours or hikes on snow and firn, which work perfectly in one area, but have great disadvantages in the other, or require a special supplement to cover all areas satisfactorily.
  • a cross-country ski is ideal for locomotion on flat or slightly inclined terrain, but not for steep climbs and descents.
  • the very popular ski touring is practically a full-fledged downhill ski, on the tread for the rise of a good adhering to the snow element, such as a fur strip, is attached, there are various types of skins and mounting options.
  • adhesive skins are most frequently used, which can be fastened relatively quickly to the tread.
  • the often used climbing wax is practically completely gone from the market, because whose distance for the departure was very tedious. It is only used for cross-country skis under certain conditions for competitions.
  • snowshoe A very different snow sports equipment is the snowshoe, which has existed for centuries in the far north of Europe, and which in recent years has evolved from a tennis racquet-like structure to a device composed of modern materials and has established a new sport worldwide Snowshoeing.
  • JP H07 34875 shows a ski, which is divided over its length divided into two parts. The rear portion is pivotable through 180 ° forward from a position in which it forms a continuous sliding surface with the front portion, so that it rests on the front portion. The underside of the swung-around portion is then formed as an adhesion surface and should serve to ascend. The ski is in this state therefore only about half as long as in sliding position. In addition, the heel binding must be removed with forward folded back part. The adhesion surface extends only from the area following the ski tip to about the middle of the skier's shoe. Walking is therefore little stabilized, because you have to push a ski sticking out, so to speak.
  • the aim of the present invention is to provide and offer a Kombiski, which can be optionally and effortlessly switched from the function walking or climbing to the function of gliding and driving and vice versa.
  • the Kombiski according to the invention should therefore rather be a snowshoe with an integrated sliding part than a ski with integrated climbing aid, whereby, of course, a direct synthesis of these two solutions is also conceivable.
  • either the entire length of the support surface acts as an adhesion surface, or for sliding the entire bearing surface of the combination ice as a sliding surface.
  • a ski is designed according to the preamble and with the features of claim 1.
  • the present Kombiski combines a mode of operation for ascending and a mode of operation for driving off, because in the first case over the entire ski length an adhesion surface is generated, and in the second case over the entire length of a sliding surface is formed.
  • the tip can be shaped into a shovel, so that it is always lifted over the snow even when driving in deep snow. Compared to traditional piste skis, it has a wider body and its blade is even wider than the rest of the ski to provide better support when driving on deep snow with its upper deck.
  • FIG. 1 shows a preferred embodiment of the Kombiskis according to this invention.
  • the combination ski consists of two skis with shoe bindings, which are suitable for the ascent, by being switchable into a function, which allows the lifting of the heel.
  • bindings have been known for many years, for example as plate bindings, in which a whole plate, together with the ski boot, is pivotally attached to the ski so that the heel can be raised and natural walking and climbing with the strapped skis is made possible. These bonds need not be described here.
  • FIG. 1 is a single Kombiski 1 seen from the side, with a shaped tip to a blade 2, so that it is always lifted when driving in deep snow over the snow.
  • the Kombiski 1 is shown here in the departure position.
  • each combination mold 1 forms a sliding surface 3, which is subdivided into at least two subregions 3a, 3b, which form sliding surfaces adjoining each other with a precise fit. Between these portions 3a, 3b, a hinge 4 is arranged. It is arranged so that the two sections 3a, 3b, as shown here, are filled with their bumps.
  • FIG. 2 shows how the Kombiski of the in FIG. 1 shown departure position in the ascent position is brought.
  • At least a portion 3a of the sliding surface is designed as a bar 5, which is folded down by 180 ° about the hinge 4.
  • the rear portion 3a which is designed as a bar 5, which is hinged about the hinge 4 by 180 ° to the other, here front portion 3b is folded down.
  • a fixture on the rear part of the Kombiskis 1 is released, so that the crossbar 5 is laterally pivotable as shown.
  • This attachment can be realized for example by means of a screw which passes through the ski from above and can be screwed into a sleeve with an internal thread, which is flush in the end of the bar 5 in the same.
  • the screw head is advantageously equipped with a grip wheel, so that the screw can be easily screwed or loosened by hand.
  • the lath 5 is here in a position in which it is already pivoted by about 45 ° from the ski 1 on its pivoting to the complete reversal by 180 ° down. In FIG. 3 it has already been pivoted further and now has to be swiveled by a further 45 ° until it rests snugly down on the front of the ski 1.
  • FIG. 4 shows the setting in which this hinged bar 5 pivots fully forward pivoted on the underside of the front half of the ski 1.
  • the crossbar 5 is attached as well as in the downhill position with its end on the ski. This can serve a same screw connection as already used at the rear end of the ski.
  • the underside of the ski that is its two sections 3a, 3b in FIG. 1 are smooth and designed as an optimal sliding surface of a ski
  • the texture of the bar 5 on its opposite, in FIG. 4 now down side of it and is specifically designed as an adhesion surface 28, which provides optimum traction Snow and ice offers.
  • It is therefore equipped with a certain for walking and climbing nature, and this also applies to the exposed by folding over the area 6 of the underside of the ski 1, which also forms an adhesion surface, with walking and climbing certain nature.
  • It may be a flake lining, but also a coat, a fur covering or an applied mat made of fine, stiff plastic bristles that protrude backwards so that they offer good sliding properties when pulling the ski forward and at Clawing backwards on the ski force in the snow.
  • the Kombiski can be designed as an optimal ski for gliding and swinging with basically soft, elastically flexible front and hard or rigid rear.
  • the ski body is designed to be continuous over its length and has a sliding surface fixedly connected to it in its front region, which is formed by the partial region 3b.
  • the ski 1 can therefore be designed so that the front area becomes more flexible towards the tip of the ski, and the elasticity of the front ski end can be influenced accordingly by the construction and the choice of material.
  • the ski 1 In the rear area, however, the ski 1 is rigid, and this function is in no way impaired by the bar 5, which has been tilted onto this rear area of the ski 1 and subsequently bolted to the rear end of the ski.
  • the construction described forms a double deck, as we already know from the FIGS. 1 to 4 recognizes.
  • the sliding surface 3 acts as a sole sliding surface on hard ground and forms the lower deck.
  • the lateral structure forms a plank-like elevation 13, which leads to a boat-like shape of the ski and its edge region forms the second, higher deck.
  • These elevations 13 are made of flexible plastic material, so that upon upward bending of the blade 2, these planks 13 can bend elastically outwards.
  • the upper edge 26 of the ski forms a soft snow edge, as will be explained.
  • the FIG. 5 shows the ski 1 in a view from above. It is wider in comparison to conventional piste skis and its scoop 2 is even slightly wider than the rest of Skis 1 designed to go with its upper deck to produce a better carrying action when driving on deep snow.
  • the binding 9, designed here as a plate binding is mounted as a whole on the ski 1 longitudinally displaceable. In the position of the binding 9 shown here, the ski is used for the downhill. For the ascent, the binding 9 on the ski 1 is shifted slightly forward and secured again in this position. For this purpose, the binding 9 can be guided longitudinally displaceable on rails or in grooves or between grooves and secured between the end positions of the displacement in each displacement position.
  • This may be a spring-loaded snap mechanism or sliding or rotatable pawls or bolts, depending on the version.
  • a number of holes 10 are arranged on the ski surface, in which a spring-loaded pin 11 on the binding 9 from above can be inserted.
  • the ski 1 is shown in front at the front. Its blade 2 is realized by a curvature of the ski tip upwards.
  • this ski does not have a flat cross-section, but rather is shaped in the manner of a boat, so that a double deck is formed.
  • this ski plow through the deep snow, so to speak. Thanks to its boat-like shape and its width, it creates more buoyancy and still gives with its lateral edges 12 a sharp edge grip on hard snow like a conventional ski.
  • the plank-like elevations 13 forms with their edge regions 27 a raised deck, so that the Kombiski here has a double deck.
  • the lower deck with its sliding surface 3 acts in deep snow together with the upper deck and its edge area 27.
  • a greater buoyancy is generated and the Kombiski carries, while the edges 26 of the upper deck in soft or deep snow in addition to the edges 12 act as soft snow edges.
  • On hard snow or on piste-like snow is driven only on the lower deck with its sliding surface 3, and then act their edges 12 as the only edges.
  • This combi ski is not just a combi ski with regard to the combination possibility for ascent and descent, but it also offers an optimized and ideal combination for the descent in deep snow as well as on hard snow.
  • FIG. 7 the cross-section of the ski 1 is shown.
  • the ski 1 consists of a continuous plastic mold 14 which terminates at the sides in the elevations 13, which forms with their edge regions 27, the elevated deck for deep snow driving, wherein the edges 26 act as soft snow edges.
  • a support plate 15 is installed, which is firmly connected to the basic mold 14, and on which then the binding 9 is mounted longitudinally displaceable.
  • the sliding lining 3 connects.
  • Conventional steel edges 12 along the lateral lower longitudinal edges of the ski give it the necessary edge grip.
  • this Kombiski with its double-deck principle makes it much easier to edge up, even if you tend to wear softer shoes, making traversing hard, smooth fields safer. Nevertheless, it offers excellent deep snow driving characteristics.
  • the double deck principle which provides a wide wing in soft snow - where it is needed - and a narrow climbing or sliding surface on hard snow, creates an ideal combination for changing snow conditions and uses.
  • FIG. 8 shows a Kombiski in a perspective view.
  • the binding 9 is displaceable on non-visible rails in the longitudinal direction of the ski 1.
  • the binding 9 has at the front a headband 17 for the sole edge of the ski boot, and at the rear a headband 18 for the sole edge at the heel of the ski boot.
  • the main body 20 of the binding 9 is hinged in the front region on the pivot axis 16 on the ski, that is at one another, belonging to the binding displacement element 21 which is longitudinally displaceable on the ski 1 in different adjustment positions fixed.
