Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a seal construction for resealable container lid, a resealable container lid, containing this seal construction, and a container containing this container lid.
  • Disposable containers for liquids have been used for a long time in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. This is particularly often the case with beverage cans made of light metal, in which the can lid is equipped with a so-called clip closure.
  • the clip closure by pressing this clip closure, the cover piece forming the dispensing opening is pressed in the direction of the can interior and remains permanently connected to the can lid.
  • this closure is removed together with the area forming the dispensing opening or cover piece when the flip-top closure is actuated.
  • Such closure systems can be found for example in the WO 97/030902 . DE 100 18 685 C2 . US 4,148,410 . EP 564 725 A1 .
  • a first approach is based on can ends, which contain a discharge opening from the outset. Suggestions that go in this direction can be found eg in the WO 2007/039367 A1 . WO 2008/054636 A2 . DE 20 2005 019 224 U1 . US 3,952,911 and DE 601 01 995 T2 ,
  • such containers are regularly not nearly as dense as, for example, over a longer period of time, such as beverage cans, which are made of a can body and a can lid, which has no predetermined dispensing opening.
  • the production of such beverage containers with a predetermined discharge opening usually very material and labor intensive and costly, if you want to achieve a high degree of tightness, especially after resealing.
  • reclosable systems are obtained in that after the first opening operation the lid or part of the lid is provided with an additional cover.
  • Such systems are eg in the DE 100 18 685 C2 and DE 92 11 883 U1 disclosed.
  • rotatably mounted on the can lid partial covers are known.
  • a planar element can be pivoted about a pivot point on the lid surface via the dispensing opening. From a comparable locking mechanism is in the WO 2005/056400 A1 Made use of.
  • a resealable can lid is known in which the dispensing opening is initially closed with a removable film that is integral with the can end. After removing this film, a cap connected to the can lid via a living hinge can be inserted flush with the dispensing opening.
  • the in the WO 99/67150 A1 described closure variant is suitable for beverage cover made of plastic materials.
  • the US 4,887,712 deals with a beverage can, whose discharge opening can be generated via a clip closure.
  • the outlet opening forming surface of the can lid is in this case pressed in the direction of the can interior and is captively connected to the can lid.
  • the locking bracket rotatably mounted about an attachment point, the locking lug opposite an indentation, which corresponds to the contour of the dispensing opening and can be introduced after rotation of the closure bracket in this purpose for the purpose of closing.
  • a sufficient degree of tightness, in particular gas tightness, is can not be obtained with this embodiment. That in the GB 2 379 917 A described closure system essentially corresponds to the US 4,887,712 ,
  • a can lid protrudes with a rotatably mounted on the cover wall tear tab.
  • This rotatably mounted pull tab has a closure element, which is present in the closed position above the opened dispensing opening and can engage in it in a locking manner.
  • the tear tab is integrally formed with the closure element of sheet metal.
  • the WO 2004/056667 A1 discloses a beverage can closure in which the grip tab is designed to reseal the dispensing opening resulting from the breaking of a frangible line. Also in this embodiment, the grip tab is pivotally mounted vertically rotatable about an axis disposed in the cover and the closure means is adapted in shape and size of the discharge opening to ensure a reasonably tight closure.
  • a resealable can lid closure in which can be pushed and clamped on a pivotable about an attachment point tensile or tear tab made of metal, a plastic sleeve.
  • the peripheral edges of this plugged sleeve are designed such that the dispensing opening can be completely covered. So that the rotatably mounted pull tab with the plastic sleeve attached thereto remains above the dispensing opening, a groove is provided on the outer peripheral edge of the tab, which engages in a latching manner in the peripheral beading area of the can lid. In this way, although the position of the pull tab is fixed over the discharge opening, a particularly high degree of tightness is not associated with this.
  • a resealable beverage can lid is known in which the opening tool and the resealable beverage can closure are attached to one and the same hinged hinge which is present on the top side of the lid surface.
  • the EP 1 826 132 A relates to a resealable closure for beverage cans, which can be used as a separate component in a can opening, which has been produced with a conventional lever tab.
  • This separate component closure has a base part with an opening, which can be inserted into the can opening, as well as a movable along a hinged hinge closure part.
  • reclosable cover variants known from the prior art are still always associated with disadvantages and leave desires open, for example with regard to the tightness of carbonated beverages.
  • the previously known from the prior art resealable lid systems are not usually suitable to with sufficient reliability in mass production to withstand the pasteurization, which many drinks are subjected to regular. If the dispensing or capping system does not allow for pasteurization which generally has temperatures in excess of 70 ° C and internal pressures of up to 7 bar, one is forced to resort to preservatives.
  • the present invention therefore an object of the invention to provide a resealable container lid, which is no longer subject to the disadvantages of the prior art and in particular allows a simple and reliable production in mass production and leads to beverage containers, where after first opening and reclosing the drink still over a longer period of time its original quality and, in carbonated drinks, the original concentration of dissolved carbon dioxide retains.

  • the ratchet teeth 56 and the third locking device 55 are formed from relatively rigid, but nevertheless always resilient material. Suitable plastic materials having these properties are known in the art.
  • the third locking device 55 may have, for example, two, three, four, five or more locking teeth 56 circumferentially along the edge 11 of the dispensing opening 12.
  • ratchet teeth for example two, three or four, it is advantageous if they are approximately equidistant from one another and preferably not only selectively cover the lid surface 10, but are made wider.
  • a reclosable opening closure 34 which is embedded in the closure collar 32, is sealingly provided on the inner wall of the closure collar 32, for example via the circumferential beads 63 and 65.
  • Fig. 9 shows a schematic perspective plan view of an embodiment of the third locking device 55, which is configured circumferentially and forms a part of the closure collar 32 (not shown).
  • This third locking device 55 has circumferentially over a total of eight ratchet teeth 56.
  • the ratchet teeth are provided with a rounded contact surface 59 and a latching projection 61 which engages under the lid surface 10 at the edge 11 thereof (not shown) equipped.
  • the respective ratchet teeth are made relatively wide in the illustrated variant and separated only by narrow incisions 67 from each other.
