Abstract
Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kantenabschlussprofil für Küchenarbeitsplatten oder sanitäre Gegenstände, wie Waschtische und dergleichen, die mit einer Decklage aus Naturstein- oder Keramikplatten versehen sind.
- Kantenabschussprofile dienen dazu, Arbeitsplatten in Küchen oder in Feuchträumen seitlich abzuschließen, wobei zum einen Beschädigungen oder Verletzungen vermieden werden sollen, zum anderen Verschmutzungen und Durchfeuchtungen nicht eindringen sollen, die sich insbesondere im Randbereich zeigen.
- Ein derartiges Kantenabschlussprofil ist beispielsweise aus
DE 20 2004 018 996 U1 bekannt. - Für die Erfindung stellt sich die Aufgabe, ein Kantenabschlussprofil so zu gestalten, dass insbesondere bei Verwendung von Holzplatten oder Kunststoffschaumplatten bei Küchenarbeitsplatten, Waschtische und dergleichen ein einfacher und haltbarer Kantenabschluss herstellbar ist.
- Diese Aufgabe wird gelöst mit einem Kantenabschlussprofil der eingangs genannten Art, welches eine Profil-Hohlkammer aufweist, die von einem Stirnwandschenkel und zwei im Wesentlichen gleichgerichteten, parallelen und untereinander beabstandenden Begrenzungsschenkeln eingefasst und mit einem Plattenelement oder einer Isoliermasse auffüllbar sind, wobei die Begrenzungsschenkel mit dem Stirnwandschenkel im rechten Winkel abstehend verbunden sind und der oben liegende Begrenzungsschenkel auf seiner Oberseite eine Tragfläche für die Decklage bildet, sowie mit einem Kantenanschlag für die Decklage, der mit dem Stirnwandschenkel verbunden ist. Vorzugsweise wird der genannte Kantenanschlag mit dem Stirnwandschenkel einstückig verbunden.
- Eine auf gleicher Ebene liegende Lösung ist dann gegeben, wenn eine Profilkammer, die von einem Stirnwandschenkel und einem Begrenzungsschenkel einseitig begrenzt ist, vorhanden ist, wobei der Begrenzungsschenkel mit dem Stirnwandschenkel im rechten Winkel in dessen Mittelbereich abstehend verbunden ist und der Begrenzungsschenkel auf einer Oberseite eine Tragfläche für die Decklage bildet, sowie mit einem Anschlagsteg für die Decklage, der mit dem Stirnwandschenkel verbunden ist.
- Es ergibt sich damit ein "zweistöckiges" Kantenabschlussprofil, bei dem eine abgedeckte Lage, bestehend aus einem Plattenelement, und eine Sichtlage, bestehend aus Naturstein- oder Keramikplatten, zusammen aufgebaut und durch das Kantenabschlussprofil seitlich sowohl abgedeckt als auch positioniert sind.
- Als Ausführungsbeispiele für den Kantenanschlag haben sich als vorteilhaft erwiesen:
- Der Kantenanschlag ist als sich aus dem Stirnwandschenkel fortsetzender Anschlagsteg gestaltet, oder
- der Kantenabschluss setzt sich als L-förmiges Winkelteilprofil mit dem ersten L-Schenkel an den oben liegenden Begrenzungsschenkel linear fort, wobei der Stirnwandschenkel und der erste L-Schenkel eine L-Konfiguration ausbilden und der andere L-Schenkel den Stirnanschlag bildet.
- Das Kantenabschlussprofil wird vorzugsweise aus einem Metall- oder Kunststoff-Strangpressprofil abgelängt. Es ist aber auch möglich, ein Metall-Walzprofil entsprechend zu verwenden.
- Um den noch möglicherweise vorhandenen Hohlraum zu überdecken, der sich an der Kante im Bereich des Anschlags öffnet, wird der Kantenabschluss mit einem gerundeten Bördelungsprofil versehen. Das Bördelungsprofil kann auch aus einem anderen Material als das Kantenabschlussprofil im Übrigen hergestellt sein. Beispielsweise kann sich das Bördelungsprofil aus einem etwas flexiblen Kunststoff herstellen lassen, während das übrige Profil aus Metall besteht.
- Die Erfindung bezieht sich ferner auf einen Kantenabschluss, der unter Verwendung eines Kantenabschlussprofils nach einem der vorhergehend beschriebenen Merkmale hergestellt ist. Dabei wird in den Profil-Hohlraum formschlüssig das Kantenende einer Arbeitsplatte aus Holz, Holzderivaten oder Schaumkunststoff eingesetzt bzw. formschlüssig eingesteckt und dort gehalten, wobei zusätzlich Verklebungen oder andere Befestigungsmittel angewendet werden, die vorzugsweise von außen nicht zu erkennen sind. Die Platte kann über eine Klebstoff- oder Mörtelausgleichsschicht mit einem darauf liegenden Belag verbunden sein.
- Schließlich sei darauf hingewiesen, dass ein Kantenabschluss auch noch zusätzlich mit einem Verblendelement bestückt sein kann, das vorzugsweise in dem Bereich, der von der L-Konfiguration aus erstem L-Schenkel und Stirnwandschenkel aufgespannt ist, angeordnet wird.

- Es sei darauf hingewiesen, dass sich die Begriffe "oben" und "unten" auf die dargestellte Ausführungsform gem.
Fig. 1 - 3 der Profile beziehen. Es soll aber nicht ausgeschlossen sein, dass derartige Kantenabdeckungsprofile auch in einer anderen Anordnung und Stellung verwendet werden, beispielsweise als Wandhalterungen (vgl.Fig. 4 ). - Unter Bezugnahme auf die
Figuren 1 und 2 sind zwei Anwendungsarten des Kantenabschlussprofils - Bezugszahlen 1.1 und 1.2 - dargestellt; als Anwendungsbereich ist eine Küchenarbeitsplatte gewählt. Das tragende Modul ist eine Schaumkunststoffplatte 2 aus XPS-Schaumstoff, die zumindest an ihrer Oberfläche mit einer 0,5 bis 2 mm starken, erhärteten und armierten Mörtelschicht 4 belegt ist. Die Schaumkunststoffplatte 2, die in denFiguren 1 und 2 abgebrochen dargestellt ist, ist formschlüssig durch Einschieben in einen Hohlraum 5 mit dem Kantenabschlussprofil 1.1 und 1.2 verbunden. Falls erforderlich, kann zusätzlich eine Verklebung innerhalb des Hohlraums 5 erfolgen. - Das in
Figur 1 dargestellte Kantenabschlussprofil 1.1 ist zunächst als Strangpressprofil aus einem Thermoplasten, z.B. einem Polycarbonat, hergestellt worden. Entsprechend der Anwendung werden die entsprechenden Längen abgeschnitten. Das Kantenabschlussprofil 1.1 ergibt die Profil-Hohlkammer 5, die von einem Stirnwandschenkel 10 und zwei gleichgerichteten, parallel und untereinander beabstandeten Begrenzungsschenkeln 11 und 12 eingefasst ist. Der Abstand der Begrenzungsschenkel 11 und 12 untereinander richtet sich nach der Dicke des zu tragenden Moduls, wobei die Konfiguration derFigur 1 und 2 in ähnlicher Weise einsetzbar ist. - Die Oberseite des oben liegenden Begrenzungsschenkels 11 bildet eine relativ kurze Tragfläche für den Kantenbereich 6.1 einer Natursteinplatte 6, beispielsweise aus Granit. Im Zwischenbereich zwischen der Unterseite der Natursteinplatte 6 und der Oberseite des Begrenzungsschenkels 11 ist die verfestigte Verklebungs- und Mörtelschicht 4 eingebracht.
- Als Kantenabschluss und Anschlag ist ein L-förmiges Winkelteilprofil 13 vorgesehen, bei dem sich der kürzere L-Schenkel 14 als lineare Fortsetzung des oberen Begrenzungsschenkels 11 ergibt, so dass der längere L-Schenkel einen gegenüber dem Stirnwandschenkel 10 überkragenden Anschlagbereich mit Anschlagsteg 15 ergibt. Die Verklebungs- und Mörtelschicht 4 setzt sich im Innenraum zwischen der Kante 6.2 und dem längeren L-Schenkel, d.h. dem Anschlagsteg 15, fort. Durch die Verwendung einer im ausgehärteten Zustand mit einer Restzähigkeit versehenen Mörtelschicht 4, die auch armiert sein kann, lassen sich Unterschiede in der Wärmeausdehnung und entsprechende Ausdehnungsspannungen zwischen den Teilen unschädlich machen.
- Das Kantenabschlussprofil 1.1 bietet weiterhin den Vorteil, dass der Bereich, der von der L-Konfiguration aus erstem L-Schenkel 14 und Stirnwandschenkel 10 aufgespannt ist, wenigstens ein Verblendelement 9 eingebaut werden kann. Ein solches Verblendelement 9 kann aus einem Kunststoffstreifen oder einer Reihe von Fliesenelementen bestehen.
- In
Figur 2 ist statt der Hartschaumkunststoff-Platte eine Platte 2 aus einem Holzderivaten, hier eine Holzspanplatte, eingesetzt. Das Kantenabschlussprofil 1.2, wie inFigur 2 dargestellt, ist ebenfalls mit einer Profil-Hohlkammer 5 versehen, die von einem Stirnwandschenkel 10 und zwei untereinander beabstandeten Begrenzungsschenkeln 11 und 12 eingefasst ist. Das einstückige Kantenabschlussprofil besitzt einen Kantenanschlag, der sich aus dem Stirnwandschenkel 10 linear fortsetzt und damit zum Anschlagsteg 15 wird. - Das Kantenabschlussprofil 1.2 ist hier aus einem gewalzten Edelstahlprofil in abgelängter Konfiguration hergestellt. Die Kante 6.2 einer Waschtisch-Fliese 6 wird abgedeckt und geschützt. Der Dünnbett-Mörtel 4 setzt sich nicht bis in den Hohlraum 16 zwischen der Kantenstirnfläche im Anschlagssteg 15 fort.
- In der
Figur 3 ist eine abgewandelte Konfiguration eines Kantenabschlussprofils 24 dargestellt. Die mit gleichen Bezugszeichen versehenen Teile entsprechen denen derFigur 1 . - Um die Lücke 18 zwischen den Kantenflächen 6.2 und der Innenseite des Anschlagsstegs 15 zu überbrücken, schließt sich an den Anschlagssteg 15 eine gerundete Bördelung 26 an. Diese kann durch Ausformen oder Abbiegen an einer entsprechenden Verlängerung des Anschlagsstegs 15 geformt sein.
- Es kann aber auch eine flexible Bördelung, beispielsweise aus PVC, durch verbundene Extrusion an den Anschlagssteg - diesen an seinen Enden überfassend - befestigt werden. Damit kann optisch und haptisch ein verbesserter Übergang vom Anschlagsteg zur Belagkante erzeugt werden.
- Als weitere Ausführungsform der Erfindung sind in
Figuren 5 und 6 Kantenabschlussprofile - Bezugszahl 40.1 und 40.2 - dargestellt. Als Anwendungsbereich ist eine Waschtischplatte gewählt. Das tragende Modul ist eine Schaumkunststoffplatte 2 aus EPS-Schaumstoff, die zumindest an ihrer Oberfläche mit einer 0,5 bis 2 mm starken erhärteten und armierten Mörtelschicht 4 belegt ist Die Schaumkunststoffplatte 2, die in denFiguren 5 und 6 abgebrochen dargestellt ist, ist in den Hohlraum 45 eingesetzt und mit dem Kantenabschlussprofil 40.1 und 40.2 verbunden. Innerhalb des Hohlraums 45 ist die Schaumkunststoffplatte 2 mit dem Kantenabschlussprofil 40.1 und 40.2 verklebt. - Das in
Figur 5 bzw. 6 dargestellte Kantenabschlussprofil 40.1 oder 40.2 ist zunächst als Strangpressprofil aus einer Leichtmetalllegierung, z.B. Duralumin, hergestellt worden. Entsprechend der Anwendung werden die entsprechenden Längen abgeschnitten. Das Kantenabschlussprofil 40.1 umfasst die Profil-Hohlkammer 45, die von einem Stirnwandschenkel 10 und dem Begrenzungsschenkel 41 begrenzt ist. Die Länge des Stirnwandschenkels 10 richtet sich nach der Dicke des zu tragenden Moduls, wobei die Konfiguration derFiguren 5 und 6 in ähnlicher Weise einsetzbar ist. Der Stirnwandschenkel 10 endet mit einem freien unteren Ende. - Die Oberseite des Begrenzungsschenkels 41 bildet die Tragfläche für eine Natursteinplatte 6, beispielsweise aus Steinwerkstoff. Im Zwischenbereich zwischen der Unterseite der Natursteinplatte 6 und der Oberseite des Begrenzungsschenkels 41 ist eine verfestigtes Dünnbett-Verklebungs- und Mörtelschicht 4 eingebracht.
- Als Kantenabschluss und Anschlag ist gemäß
Figur 5 ähnlich wie beiFigur 1 ein L-förmiges Winkelteilprofil 13 vorgesehen, bei der sich der kürzere L-Schenkel 14 ebenfalls als lineare Fortsetzung des Begrenzungsschenkels 41 ergibt, so dass der längere L-Schenkel einen gegenüber dem Stirnwandschenkel 10 überkragenden Anschlagbereich mit Anschlagsteg 15 ergibt. - In
Figur 6 ist statt der Hartschaumkunststoff-Platte eine Platte aus einem Holzderivaten, hier eine Holzspanplatte, eingesetzt. Das Kantenabschlussprofil 40.2, wie inFigur 2 dargestellt, ist ebenfalls mit einer Profil-Hohlkammer 45 versehen, die von einem Stirnwandschenkel 10 und dem Begrenzungsschenkel 41 aufgespannt ist. Das einstückige Kantenabschlussprofil 40.2 besitzt einen Kantenanschlag, der sich aus dem Stirnwandschenkel 10 linear fortsetzt und damit zum Anschlagsteg 15 wird. - Das Kantenabschlussprofil 40.2 ist hier aus einem gewalzten Edelstahlprofil in abgelängter Konfiguration hergestellt. Die Kante 6.2 einer Waschtisch-Fliese 6 wird abgedeckt und geschützt. Der Dünnbett-Mörtel 4 setzt sich nicht bis in den Hohlraum 16 zwischen der Kantenstirnfläche im Anschlagssteg 15 fort.
- In der
Figur 7 ist eine abgewandelte Konfiguration eines Kantenabschlussprofils 44 dargestellt. Die mit gleichen Bezugszeichen versehenen Teile entsprechen denen derFigur 1 . - An den Anschlagssteg 15 schließt sich eine gerundete Bördelung 26 an, wie sie bereits anhand der
Figur 3 erläutert wurde. - Die Oberfläche der jeweils verbundenen Materialien wird nach Erfordernis aufgeraut oder strukturiert. Die Möglichkeiten hierzu sind dem Fachmann bekannt, so dass hierauf nicht weiter eingegangen zu werden braucht.
- Es sei darauf hingewiesen (vgl.
Figuren 4 und8 ), dass ein beschriebenes Kantenabschlussprofil 1.2 bzw. 40.2 auch zur Anbringung von Wanddekorationsplatten 30 mit einer hinterlegten, selbsttragenden Wärmedämmungsplatte 31 als selbsttragendes Modul eingesetzt werden können. Hierbei ist das Kantenabschlussprofil 1.2 bzw. 40.2 als Trägerprofil eingesetzt für die Wandverkleidung.
Claims (14)
- Kantenabschlussprofil (1.1; 1.2; 24) für Küchenarbeitsplatten, sanitäre Gegenstände, wie Waschtische und dergleichen, die mit einer Decklage (6; 30) aus Naturstein- oder Keramikplatten versehen sind, gekennzeichnet durch eine Profil-Hohlkammer (5), die von einem Stirnwandschenkel (10) und zwei im Wesentlichen gleichgerichteten, parallelen und untereinander beabstandeten Begrenzungsschenkeln (11; 12) eingefasst und mit einem Plattenelement (2) oder einer Isoliermasse ausfüllbar ist, wobei die Begrenzungsschenkel (11; 12) mit dem Stirnwandschenkel (10) im rechten Winkel abstehend verbunden sind und der oben liegende Begrenzungsschenkel (11) auf seiner Oberseite eine Tragfläche für die Decklage (6; 30) bildet, sowie mit einem Anschlagsteg (15) für die Decklage, der mit dem Stirnwandschenkel (10) verbunden ist.
- Kantenabschlussprofil (40.1; 40.2) für Küchenarbeitsplatten, sanitäre Gegenstände, wie Waschtische und dergleichen, die mit einer Decklage (6; 30) aus Naturstein- oder Keramikplatten versehen sind, gekennzeichnet durch eine Profilkammer (45), die von einem Stirnwandschenkel (10) und einem Begrenzungsschenkel (41) einseitig begrenzt ist, wobei der Begrenzungsschenkel (41) mit dem Stirnwandschenkel (10) im rechten Winkel in dessen Mittelbereich abstehend verbunden ist und der Begrenzungsschenkel (11) auf seiner Oberseite eine Tragfläche für die Decklage (6; 30) bildet, sowie mit einem Anschlagsteg (15) für die Decklage, der mit dem Stirnwandschenkel (10) verbunden ist.
- Kantenabschlussprofil nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Anschlagsteg (15) mit dem Stirnwandschenkel (10) einstückig verbunden ist.
- Kantenabschlussprofil nach Anspruch 1, 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Anschlagsteg als sich aus dem Stirnwandschenkel (10) fortsetzender Anschlagsteg (15) gestaltet ist.
- Kantenabschlussprofil nach Anspruch 1 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Kantenabschluss als L-förmiges Winkelteilprofil (13) sich mit einem ersten L-Schenkel (14) an dem oben liegenden Begrenzungsschenkel (11) linear fortsetzt, wobei der Stirnwandschenkel (10) und der erste L-Schenkel (14) eine L-Konfiguration ausbilden und der andere L-Schenkel (15) des Winkelteilprofils (13) den Anschlagsteg (15) bildet.
- Kantenabschlussprofil nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Kantenabschluss als L-förmiges Winkelteilprofil (13) sich mit einem ersten L-Schenkel (14) an dem Begrenzungsschenkel (11) linear fortsetzt, wobei der Stirnwandschenkel (10) und der erste L-Schenkel (14) eine L-Konfiguration ausbilden und der andere L-Schenkel (15) des Winkelteilprofils (13) den Anschlagsteg (15) bildet.
- Kantenabschlussprofil nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Kantenabschlussprofil (1.1; 1.2; 40.1; 40.2) von einem Metall- oder Kunststoff-Strangpressprofil abgelängt ist.
- Kantenabschlussprofil nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Kantenabschlussprofil (1.1; 1.2; 40.1; 40.2) von einem Metall-Walzprofil abgelängt ist.
- Kantenabschlussprofil nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das freie Ende des Anschlagstegs (15) mit einem gerundeten Bördelungsprofil (26) versehen ist.
- Kantenabschlussprofil nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Bördelungsprofil (26) aus einem anderen Material als das der Kantenabschlussprofils im Übrigen hergestellt ist.
- Kantenabschluss hergestellt unter Verwendung eines Kantenabschlussprofils nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in den Profil-Hohlraum (5) das Kantenende einer Platte (2) aus Holz, Holzderivat oder Schaumkunststoff eingesetzt bzw. formschlüssig eingesteckt ist.
- Kantenabschluss nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Platte (2) über eine Klebstoff- oder Mörtelausgleichsschicht (4) mit einem darauf liegenden Belag verbunden ist.
- Kantenabschluss nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Bereich, der von der L-Konfiguration aus erstem L-Schenkel (14) und Stirnwandschenkel (10) aufgespannt ist, mit wenigstens einem Verblendelement (9) bestückt ist.
- Verwendung des Kantenabschlussprofils (1.2; 40.2) als Trägerprofil für eine Wandverkleidung.
