Definitions

  • the invention relates to a climbing skin fixing device for fixing a climbing skin to a running surface of a ski, and to a climbing skin and a ski equipment kit comprising such a climbing skin fixing device.
  • a tip of the climbing skin facing the ski tip is usually releasably coupled to the ski tip of the ski, so that the front end of the coat does not come loose when walking.
  • Conventional climbing skin fixation devices are usually sewn to the front end of the riser and have a temple adapted to be hung on the ski tip of the ski.
  • Other prior art scalpel fixation devices include a hook attached to the front end of the crampon which hooks into a corresponding hole on the ski tip of the ski. These climbing skin fixation devices are limited to use with specially adapted skis.
  • a third variant of a climbing skin fixation device is in the state the art is known, in which a rubber-elastic, elongated coupling body is provided, which is to be hooked into a longitudinal slot which is formed on the ski tip of the ski for coupling with the coupling body.
  • the coupling body is attached by means of a Velcro fastener on the climbing skin, so that it can be replaced in case of breakage or wear.
  • the advantage of the climbing skin fixing device with elastic coupling body is that the climbing skin can be stretched in its front end portion, and thus pulled and held in firm contact with the ski.
  • the disadvantage is that the Velcro connection between the coupling body and climbing skin can be solved by continuous action of snow and mechanical stress and added to a snow Velcro often can not be closed.
  • these coupling bodies can be used only with specially adapted skis with slotted ski tip.
  • the DE 20 2005 010 148 U1 discloses a climbing skin fixing device for fixing a climbing skin to a running surface of a ski having the features of the preamble of claim 1.
  • coupling body and body are also connected to each other by means of a hook and loop fastener.
  • FIGS CH 168 174 A discloses a climbing skin fixing device with a main body attached to the climbing skin and a coupling body designed for hooking on the ski tip.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a climbing skin fixing device, which on the one hand is flexible and on the other hand ensures reliable operation even under harsh conditions. It is another object of the invention to provide a solution with which a climbing skin can be attached to different Skitypen in a simple manner.
  • the present invention provides a climbing skin fixing device for fixing a climbing skin to a running surface of a ski comprising: a base body having a fixing portion for attachment to a longitudinal end portion of a climbing skin and a coupling body having a coupling portion for releasably coupling to a ski tip of a ski; wherein the base body and the coupling body have mutually complementary latching connection means with which the base body and the coupling body detachably can be connected to each other.
  • a releasable coupling or a detachable connection means such a coupling or connection which can be produced or released by a skier during a ski tour without much effort, in particular without tools or the like.
  • a mounting such an attachment to understand which is not easily producible or solvable by the skier and is not required for the intended use of the climbing skin or the climbing skin fixation device. In most cases, such attachment takes place in the context of the production of the device or the climbing skin in a factory or in a workshop.
  • An important aspect of the invention is thus the provision of a separate base body and a separate coupling body, wherein the base body is attached to the front end of the climbing skin and coupling body and base body can be releasably connected to each other by means of complementary locking connection means. Due to the separate provision of the base body and the coupling body, the coupling body can easily be exchanged when worn, wherein the locking connection means allow a simple as well as reliable release or connection between the base body and the coupling body.
  • the complementary locking means are also insensitive to snow and cold and are easy to operate even in harsh conditions and with gloves. In particular, it is sufficient to take the coupling body and to release with a simple hand movement of the latching engagement of the body and then attach a new coupling body again with a simple hand movement on the body.
  • the latching connection means comprise a latching body and a latching receptacle adapted to the outer dimension of the latching body for receiving the latching body comprise, wherein the latching receptacle has a constriction, which passes through the latching body on its way from the release state into the latching receptacle and which the latching body thereby opposes a force until the latching body snaps into the latching receptacle.
  • the coupling body can be locked by a simple movement with the base body, wherein the locking connection means have a very simple structure.
  • the constriction of the locking receptacle ensures a noticeable resistance that the user must overcome to engage the locking connection means, so that the user is clearly indicated by the resulting snap effect that the locking engagement is made properly. Furthermore, the constriction ensures a secure hold of the locking body in the locking receptacle.
  • the latching connection means are adapted to engage by a pulling movement between the base body and the coupling body in latching engagement, in particular snap, and to be held in latching engagement. Since coupling body and body are pulled away from each other during the raising of the climbing skin on the ski and the coupling portion of the ski tip and are under tension even when using the climbing skin (during ascent) corresponds in this embodiment, the latching movement of the already occurring pulling movement, so that the climbing skin fixation device can be latched in a simple and intuitive manner and remains reliably latched. Furthermore, a release of the detent engagement during use is prevented.
  • the coupling portion of the coupling body is formed of an elastic, preferably rubber-elastic material, so the front longitudinal end portion of the climbing skin during the fixation of the climbing skin on the ski and during use (when rising) are held under tension on the ski, so that unintentional release of the Steepfells can be avoided from the tip of the ski (in particular by penetration of snow).
  • the coupling section is adapted to be coupled to a slotted tip of a ski, comprising: a passage section having a dimension such that it can be passed through a slot in a ski tip of a ski, and a suspension section having a dimension such that he can not be guided through the slot, wherein the Ein vonabterrorism is arranged in the fur longitudinal direction at a distance from the latching connection means of the coupling body.
  • the selected dimensions take into account the optionally existing elasticity of the coupling body, so that in particular the lead-through section can be slightly larger than the width of the slot of the ski, preferably in the relaxed state, so that the lead-through section has to be pressed into the slot under elastic deformation.
  • the locking connection means of the coupling body comprises two elongated locking webs as a detent body, which extend from the coupling body in opposite directions substantially orthogonal to a fur longitudinal direction, and that the locking connection means of the main body two Latching grooves as latching receptacles comprises, which extend orthogonal to the fur longitudinal direction on both sides of a Fellatoriline and are adapted to receive the locking webs.
  • the locking webs can then easily snap into the locking grooves during manufacture of the locking connection and are then held in tensile load between the coupling body and the base body on the groove bottom of the locking grooves securely in latching engagement.
  • latching connection means are inexpensive to produce in simple manufacturing processes, e.g. using injection molding technology.
  • the two locking webs can be formed by a single, continuous rod.
  • the Locking connection means adapted to connect the base body and the coupling body in at least two different locking states together, in which the fastening portion of the base body and the coupling portion of the coupling body are arranged at different distances in the fur longitudinal direction from each other.
  • An adjustable climbing skin fixing device can be realized in a structurally simple manner in that at least one component comprising the base body and the coupling body comprises a plurality of similar locking connection means, which are arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the fur.
  • the latching means of the one element of base body and coupling body can then be optionally engaged in one of the successively arranged latching connection means of the other element of base body and coupling body to provide the desired distance or the desired bias by the device.
  • the locking connection means of the main body should be formed of a sufficiently hard material to allow a reliable and wear-resistant locking engagement.
  • the main body provides an important control element of the climbing skin fixing device, which is grasped by the user and arranged at a prominent position on the ski tip, ie the base body has a section serving as a viewing and / or gripping surface.
  • a high hardness material often fails to meet the haptic and / or aesthetic demands of a viewing and / or gripping surface.
