Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zur Schleifbandführung einer Bandschleifmaschine oder dergleichen zum schleifen oder kalibrieren plattenförmiger Teile u. a., mit dem eine Vereinfachung und Automatisierung der Führung und Steuerung des Bandlaufes ermöglicht wird. Hierzu ist ein Lager (9) der Spannwalze (2) schwimmend angeordnet ist und mit einem Ritzelantrieb (5) verbunden.

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zur Bandführung einer Bandschleifmaschine oder dergleichen zum schleifen oder kalibrieren plattenförmiger Teile u. a.
  • Bandschleifmaschinen sowie Breitbandschleifmaschinen zum schleifen, kalibrieren oder fertig bearbeiten flacher Platten aus Holz oder anderen Werkstoffen sind bekannt. Hierbei ist ein Schleifband endlos umlaufend um mind. zwei parallel beabstandete, drehende Walzen angeordnet, wovon eine angetrieben ist. Eine Walze fungiert als Spannwalze. Um nun ein ablaufen des Schleifbandes von den Walzen zu verhindern, führt die Spannwalze oszillierende Winkelbewegungen aus. Die Oszillation wird mittels eines doppeltwirkenden Pneumatikzylinders ausgeführt. Die Ansteuerung des Zylinders erfolgt durch ein Weg-Magnetventil, Die Bandkante wird durch einen Lichttaster erkannt, welcher die Steuersignale für das erwähnte Magnetventil bereitstellt. Die Mittelposition der oszillierenden Bewegung muss für jedes Band manuell eingestellt werden.
    Bei einer Schleifmaschine gemäss EP-A-0133217 kann die Schleifwalze mittels Hubeinrichtung in der Höhe zum Maschinentisch verstellt werden. Eine Bandschleif-vorrichtung mit einer pneumatischen Bandsteuerung ist aus der DE-A-3133084 bekannt. Hierbei ist die Spannwalze durch ein pneumatisches Steuersystem, umfassend einen mit der Spannwalze verbundenen Pneumatikzylinder, oszillierend angetrieben. Die Spannwalze selbst ist um eine achsmittig angeordnete Spindel horizontal schwenkbar um Pendelbewegungen zur Steuerung des Bandlaufs ausführen zu können. Eine ähnliche Lösung ist in der US3745717 beschrieben.
    Bekannt ist weiterhin ein Verfahren zur Bandführung einer Bandschleifmaschine gemäss DE102007012580 , bei dem die Position des Schleifbandes in mehreren Punkten bestimmbar ist und mittels eines Regelkreises selbständig geregelt wird.
    Nach dem Stand der Technik erfolgt eine ausgleichende Pendelbewegung der Spannwalze zur Erreichung einer gleichmässigen Bandposition um einen Drehpunkt in der Mitte der Spannwalze herum, was aber mögliche Gegenbewegungen in zwei Richtungen erfordert.
  • Der Erfindung liegt nun die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Einrichtung zur Bandführung resp. Bandsteuerung einer Bandschleifmaschine zum schleifen oder kalibrieren plattenförmiger Teile u. a. zu schaffen, die eine zuverlässige Steuerung eines Schleifbandes, insbesondere der Bandposition auf den Walzen ermöglicht.
    Der Drehpunkt der Spannwalze befindet sich an einem Walzenende, sodass um das andere Ende herum Pendelbewegungen ausgeführt werden können. Der Vergleichmässigung solcher Pendelbewegungen dient ein Ritzelgetriebe am schwenkbaren Ende der Spannwalze. Eine, um einen Drehpunkt pendelnde Lagerung bietet gegenüber dem Stand der Technik der linearen Verschiebung der Walzenlagerung den Vorteil, eine steife, schwingungsarme und wartungsarme Lagerung zu sein. Zudem ist der Fehler der Achsdistanz während dem Pendeln kleiner als der linearen Variante.
    Bevorzugt ist dieses Ritzelgetriebe mit einem Stellmotor verbunden. Die Bandbewegung kann sehr gleichmässig erfolgen.
  • Erzielbar sind einstellbare Richtungswechsel und Bewegungsgrössen, ebenso wie ein still stehendes Band zur Bearbeitung von beispielsweise Hochglanzobefflächen.
  • Die Erfindung wird nachfolgend in einem Ausführungsbeispiel anhand einer Zeichnung näher beschrieben. In der Zeichnung zeigen die

  • Eine gattungsgemässe und daher nicht explizit dargestellte Bandschleifmaschine umfasst mindestens einen Schleifkopf mit einer Schleifwalze 1 und einer Spannwalze 2, die von einem endlos umlaufenden Schleifband umschlungen sind. Beide Walzen 1, 2 sind in einem Rahmen 3 aufgenommen. Die Spannwalze 2 ist um einen Drehpunkt in einem Lager 4 schwenkbeweglich angeordnet. Die Schwenkbewegungen der Walze werden mittels eines Ritzelantriebes 5 ausgeführt, der unterhalb des anderen Lagers 9 angeordnet und mit diesem Lager 9 verbunden ist. Der Ritzelantrieb 5 umfasst einen Schrittmotor 6 mit einem Ritzel 7, welches in eine leicht gebogene Zahnstange 8 eingreift. Dies ermöglicht Schwenkbewegungen des Lagers 9 mit einstellbarer Richtungsgrösse und beliebige Richtungswechsel. Die Steuersignale kommen von einer Steuereinheit, die wiederum Signale eines Bandpositionssensors verarbeitet, wie er z. B. in der DE102007012580 offenbart ist.

Claims (3)

  1. Einrichtung zur Bandführung einer Bandschleifmaschine oder dergleichen zum schleifen oder kalibrieren plattenförmiger Teile u. a. mittels eines, zwischen zwei Walzen gespannten und endlos umlaufenden Schleifbandes, wobei eine Spannwalze oszillierende Winkelbewegungen zur Erreichung einer geforderten Lage des Schleifbandes ausführen kann,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Lager (9) der Spannwalze (2) schwimmend angeordnet ist und mit einem Ritzelantrieb (5) verbunden ist
  2. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Ritzelantrieb (5) ein Ritzel (7) umfasst, dass in eine Zahnstange (8) eingreift, die mit dem Lager (9) verbunden ist.
  3. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Schleifband zwischen drei Walzen gespannt ist.
