Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kühlsystem mit regelbarer Kühlmittelpumpe für flüssigkeitsgekühlte Brennkraftmaschinen, insbesondere in Nutz- oder Kraftfahrzeugen, mit einem Pumpenlaufrad und mit einem die Durchflussmenge regelnden Regelelement. Erfindungsgemäß ist die Kühlmittelpumpe (4) mehr-, insbesondere zweiflutig mit mehreren, insbesondere zwei, jeweils voneinander getrennten Kühlmittelkreisen zugeordneten Pumpenfluten (34, 35) ausgebildet ist, wobei wenigstens eine der Pumpenfluten (35) mittels des Regelelementes (21) hinsichtlich ihrer Förderleistung veränderlich ist.
