Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kühlsystem für ein Kraftfahrzeug, umfassend eine Hauptpumpe (1) zur Umwälzung eines Kühlmittels eines Fahrzeugsmotors (2) zumindest in einem inneren Kühlmittelkreis, ein Thermostat (3) zur temperaturabhängigen Durchleitung des Kühlmittels durch einen Hauptzweig, wobei ein Kühlmittelkühler (8) in dem Hauptzweig angeordnet ist, eine von dem strömenden Kühlmittel antreibbare Pumpeneinheit (10), einen von dem Kühlmittel durchströmbaren Niedertemperaturkühler (7), und einen dem Niedertempersturkühler (7) nachgeordneten Wärmetauscher (16), wobei der Kühlmittelstrom des Wärmetauschers (16) zumindest in einer ersten Betriebsart mit dem Kühlmittelstrom des Fahrzeugmotors (2) verbunden ist, wobei die Pumpeneinheit (10) in dem Hauptzweig angeordnet ist.
