Hierbei ist insbesondere vorzugsweise vorgesehen, dass die Stirnteile auf Fassungshalter der Leuchteneinheiten aufsetzbar bzw. aufschnappbar sind. Diese Stirnteile werden dann von der Abdeckung übergriffen und zwar derart, dass sie die temperaturbedingte Längenänderung der Abdeckung nicht beeinträchtigen. Die Stirnteile sind vorzugsweise ebenfalls lichtdurchlässig bzw. opal ausgeführt, was einerseits den Vorteil mit sich bringt, dass sie sich auf der Abdeckung nicht abbilden. Dieses ist derart gestaltet, dass es ebenso wie die Profilelemente lösbar an dem Trägerelement oder der Leuchteneinheit befestigt werden kann. Es befindet sich hierbei zwischen den einzelnen Optiken bzw. Profilelementen und wird von diesen übergriffen. Durch die Anordnung des Verbindungselements innerhalb der Profilelemente wird weiterhin die Längenausdehnung der Profilelemente nicht beeinträchtigt. Das in Fig. 1 dargestellte Lichtbandsystem 100 wurde bereits eingangs erläutert, wobei ergänzend hierzu auf die DE 100 25 647 A1 verwiesen wird, in der dieses Lichtbandsystem detailliert beschrieben ist. Das Abdeckprofil 51 kann dementsprechend in einfacher Weise von der Unterseite her an die Leuchteneinheit 30 angesetzt und mit dieser verrastet werden. Alternativ hierzu wäre allerdings auch ein Verrasten mit der Tragschiene 10 denkbar. Die Schnittdarstellung in Fig. 6 zeigt ferner auch das Lampenbetriebsgerät 40 sowie das Kontaktierungselement 41 zur mechanischen Verankerung der Leuchteneinheit 30 an der Tragschiene 10 und zur elektrischen Kontaktierung, wobei auf diese Elemente allerdings im Folgenden nicht näher eingegangen werden soll, da sie bereits aus dem Stand der Technik bekannt sind.The attachment of the profile element 51 to the lamp unit takes place in the illustrated embodiment in that the profile element 51 is latched to the lamp unit. Für den Fall, dass bei dem mit den transparenten Abdeckungen 50 nachzurüstenden Lichtbandsystem 100 die Leuchteneinheiten 30 unmittelbar aufeinander folgend angeordnet sind, hat dies zur Folge, dass die nachträglich daran befestigten Profilelemente 50 jeweils einen geringfügigen Abstand untereinander aufweisen. Bspw. beträgt dieser Abstand im montierten Zustand etwa 5mm, was zur Folge hat, dass sich aufgrund von Temperaturänderungen ergebende Längenveränderungen der Profilelemente 51 aufgefangen werden können. Zum Montieren der Stirnteile 60 werden diese also von der Unterseite her an die Leuchteneinheit 30 angesetzt und derart nach oben geschoben, dass die Tasche 62 auf die Fassungshalter 32 geschoben wird, bis letztendlich die Schnappelemente 63 in die Ausnehmungen 37 eingreifen. Hierdurch wird eine sichere Halterung der Stirnteile 60 ermöglicht. Auch das nachträgliche Montieren der Stirnteile 60 ist dementsprechend sehr einfach durchzuführen. Die Höhe zwischen der Rückwand der Tasche 62 und der Platte 61 eines Stirnteils beträgt dabei ca. 9mm bis 10mm. Diese Höhe hat sich als optimal herausgestellt, um temperaturbedingte Längsausdehnungen der Abdeckung 50 auszugleichen, sofern diese maximal drei Leuchteneinheiten gleichzeitig überdeckt. Ist dabei die Länge des Profilelements 51 derart, dass mehrere Leuchteneinheiten gleichzeitig umschlossen werden, so werden selbstverständlich die Stirnteile 60 ausschließlich an den jeweiligen letzten Fassungshaltern der gesamten Anordnung montiert.Finally, the end parts are also designed such that they do not hinder the temperature-induced change in length of the elongated profile elements 51. Durch die Verwendung der U-förmigen Profilelemente, welche vorzugsweise als extrudierte Kunststoffteile ausgebildet sind, ist dieses nachträgliche Versetzen bereits installierter Leuchteneinheiten allerdings nicht mehr erforderlich.
