Definitions
- the present invention relates to a lighting system with an elongate support member to which lighting units are attached.
- the light band system is designed such that the subsequent attachment of add-on elements, which have optical means for influencing the light output, is possible.
- Lichtbandsysteme are known in different forms. They are widely used, as they offer a high degree of flexibility in the individual planning of lighting structures compared to fixed or built-in luminaires. Since such systems consist of individual elements that are assembled according to the modular principle, the entire arrangement can be easily adapted to the premises to be illuminated.
- FIG. 1 A well-known lighting system, which, for example, in the DE 100 25 647 A1 the applicant is described in Fig. 1 shown.
- the basic structure of the known lighting strip system 100 is formed by an elongate support rail 10, which is formed by a U-shaped profile element which is open toward the underside.
- This support rail 10 can either be attached directly to a ceiling or suspended and serves to hold several lighting units, wherein in Fig. 1 a single lamp unit is shown, which is provided with the reference numeral 30.
- Fig. 1 only shows a short section of the lighting system 100.
- the mounting rail 10 is significantly longer than the lamp unit 30 attached thereto, so that usually a plurality of lamp units 30 - in particular flush - are mounted one behind the other on the support rail 10.
- the lamp unit 30 in turn, initially consists of an elongated cover bar 31, which is attached to the support rail 10 from the underside and fastened. With the help of actuators, which are accessible via openings 35 in the cover 31, can be done both a mechanical attachment to the support rail 10 and an electrical contact within the support rail 10 extending power lines.
- the illustrated light-band system 100 is characterized in that a free arrangement of the lighting units 30 is made possible on the mounting rail 10, which additionally increases the flexibility of the lighting system 100.
- there are also known light band systems in which the lighting units can be arranged only at fixed predetermined positions.
- the lamp unit 30 further has on the two end faces holding elements 32 which serve to hold lamp sockets 33.
- an elongated light source 34 is used in the form of a fluorescent lamp in the illustrated embodiment.
- the power supply of the lamp 34 via lamp operating means, which are arranged on the upper side of the cover bar 31 and accordingly arranged after mounting the lamp unit 30 in the receiving space 11 of the support rail 10.
- the fastening to the mounting rail lamp units can be designed differently and in particular also have reflectors or other optical elements to influence the light output. Not infrequently, however, also lighting units in the in Fig. 1 used form, which have only the light source, but not other elements which surround the light source. The lighting units are usually mounted directly behind one another on the mounting rail, so that no free space between them.
- a luminaire with a luminaire housing is known, which is formed by an elongated U-shaped profile element and two final end pieces.
- a light exit opening is formed, in which - sealed by seals - a translucent cover is used.
- a linear lamp is known with a housing having an upper and a lower housing shell. When closed, the lower housing shell is pressed firmly into a cantilevered Stülprand the upper housing shell, with additional sealing means are provided along the joint.
- the present invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a solution which allows the subsequent attachment of optics or generally of add-on elements of lighting units of a lighting system, which is to be improved by attaching the attachments in particular, the protection of the lamp against external influences.
- the solution according to the invention is based on the idea of providing sealing means on the attachment element to be attached to the lamp unit, which seal means allow a seal between the lamp unit and the attachment element in the mounted state.
- the sealing means are provided on one of the lamp unit facing investment area.
- a lighting system with an elongated support member is accordingly proposed, to which at least one lamp unit with an elongated light source is releasably attached, wherein the lamp unit is associated with a surrounding light source attachment element which has optical means for influencing the light output and releasably attached to the Luminaire unit can be fastened, and wherein the attachment according to the invention comprises at its the lamp unit facing contact area sealing means.
- an attachment for releasable attachment to an elongated lamp of a lighting system which has optical means for influencing the light output, according to the invention, the attachment element has at its the lamp unit facing contact area sealing means.
- connection region between the lamp unit and the attachment element or the optic can accordingly be sealed, so that in particular the dust protection for the lamp unit is increased. In particular, this makes it possible to achieve the aforementioned degree of protection IP50.
- the attachment element can be latched to the lamp unit.
- the add-on element has a pot-shaped housing with one of the lamp unit facing and for engagement at this particular opening, in which case the sealing means are arranged on the circumference of the opening.
- the opening may be elongated, wherein the sealing means have two extending along the longitudinal side of the opening seals.
- the attachment element In order to adequately protect the lamp arranged inside the housing in the mounted state of the attachment element, it is of course necessary for the attachment element to completely surround the lamp. That is, in the present case elongate lamp units end caps or generally end portions are required, which complete the attachment element or the optics frontally.
- the lighting units of the lighting system are flush with each other. If subsequently an optic should be removed, the position of the luminaire units should remain as unchanged as possible, otherwise the retrofitting of the optics would be associated with too much effort.
- the required end caps of the attachment may not take up too much space.
- the end caps terminate flush with the end regions of the lamp unit.
- the lamp units each have at least one socket holder for holding a lamp socket at their ends, in which case it may then be provided in particular that the end caps each receive an end portion of the associated socket holder flush.
- the lower end of the attachment element is preferably formed by a transparent light exit disc.
- the light exit plate is releasably secured to the housing of the attachment.
- sealing means are then preferably provided in order to achieve the desired dust protection.
- the add-on element may further internally have a luminaire grid for influencing the light output.
- FIG. 1 shows light band system 100 has already been explained above. It will be added to the DE 100 25 647 A1 in which this system is described in detail.
- the present invention is a supplement to such a lighting system 100, which makes it possible to subsequently provide the lighting units 30 with an optical system in order to influence the light output.
- the optics should at the same time also form a dust cover for the luminaire unit, so that ideally the degree of protection IP50 is achieved, the luminaire is therefore dust-proof.
- Fig. 7 shows, viewed in isolation, a lighting unit 30, on the underside of which the optics, generally designated by the reference numeral 50, are arranged.
- FIG Fig. 3 A more detailed view of retrofit optic 50 is shown in FIG Fig. 3 shown. It has an elongated housing 51, which is formed primarily by two side walls 52, which are inclined towards the top - ie in the direction of the lamp unit 30 - inwardly. This results in the upper side of the housing 51, a narrow elongated opening, which is intended to bear against the lamp unit 30.
- the upper edges 53 of the side walls 52 abut against the elongated cover bar 31 of the lamp unit 30.
- Further locking means are provided in this region of the side walls 52, which cooperate with the lamp unit 30 in such a way that when attaching the optics 50 at the lamp unit 30 automatically latching and thus attachment is achieved.
- the underside of the housing 51 of the optics is formed by a plate-shaped Lichtabstrahlelement 55, which has a circumferential frame 56 and therein a transparent Lichtabstrahlspect 57.
- the light output is effected via this disk 57, wherein an elongate luminous grid 60 consisting of longitudinal reflectors 61 and transverse reflectors 62 is additionally provided for influencing the light within the housing in the illustrated exemplary embodiment.
- the light output can be limited to a certain angle range, so that the emitted light is blinding.
- the light-emitting element 55 is detachably attached to the housing 51 in order to be able to be removed if necessary, for example for a lamp replacement.
- the connection between Lichtabstrahlelement 55 and housing 51 is again preferably via suitable locking elements.
- the desired dust protection for the lamp unit 30 is achieved by various measures, which will be described in more detail below. These measures are intended, in particular, to achieve as close as possible a conclusion between the lamp unit 30 and the optics 50.
- a first measure consists in the fact that the transition between the upper edges 53 of the side walls 52 of the lens 50 and the cover 31 of the lamp unit 30 is as tight as possible.
- oblong seals are provided at the edges 53 of the side walls 52, which extend substantially over the entire length of the optical system 50.
- These seals are in Fig. 7 indicated and provided with the reference numeral 58. They consist of an elastic material, for example. Rubber, which is slightly deformed when locking the lens 50 with the lamp unit 30 and thus seals the transition between the two units.
- the flexibility and thickness of these seals 58 is selected such that the releasable latching between the optics 50 and the lamp unit 30 is still possible, but at the same time no gaps of the gaps remain over which dust could penetrate into the interior of the housing 51.
- the attachment element or the optics 50 has end caps 70 for this purpose, which complete the housing 51 at the two opposite ends. It should now be considered that the housing 51, so the side walls 52 together with the end caps 70 should completely enclose the lamp of the lamp unit 30, so in particular should also embrace the lamp sockets 32. However, the end caps 70 may not take up too much space for this, since only a minimal gap remains between the sockets 32 of two adjacent lamp units 30 in the event that a plurality of lamp units 30 are arranged flush with one another on the mounting rail 10. This requires a special embodiment of the end caps 70, which will be explained in more detail below.
- end caps 70 are in this case designed in a special way, such that the optics 50 can be flush with the end of the lamp unit 30. It should be noted that the respective ends of a lamp unit 30 are formed primarily by the holder holder 32, which closer in the Fig. 2a and 2b are shown.
- socket holders 32 initially have a first region 36, which forms a mounting plate, which is pushed onto the cover bar 31 of the lamp unit 30 on the front side.
- a second region 37 Perpendicular to this first region 36, a second region 37 connects, which forms a receptacle for the lamp holder. Like the side view of Fig. 2b can be removed, this second region 37 forms a vertical end wall 37a, wherein at the upper end of the first portion 36 protrudes slightly.
- the end caps 70 each have a peripheral frame which surrounds a side wall 72, said wall 72 is slightly offset relative to the outer end face of the frame 71 inwardly. Furthermore, a receiving pocket 73 is formed in the upper region of the wall 72, which accommodates the receiving region 37 of the holder holder 32 in the attached state of the optics 50 on the lamp unit 30. This receiving pocket 73 is slightly offset with respect to the upper end of the frame 71, so that further a recess or recess 74 is formed, in which - as in particular Fig. 5 is shown - the end portion of the first portion 36 of the socket holder 32 is received.
- Fig. 5 be taken that at the transition region between the end cap 70 and frame holder 32 most extremely small gaps remain, so that as far as possible the penetration of dust is suppressed. Possibly. it would be conceivable to install additional seals in this transition region.
- the subsequent assembly of the optical system 50 according to the invention then takes place in that the lamp is first removed from the already mounted lamp unit 30.
- the optics 50 is then placed on the lamp unit 30 and locked with this.
- the lamp can be reinserted into the sockets from the underside of the optic 50.
- the cover 55 must be temporarily removed.
- suitable seals are again provided between the cover 55 and the housing 51.
- the solution of the invention opens up the possibility to install in a simple way add-on elements in luminaires of a lighting system, in which case no displacement of the installed lighting units is required. Furthermore, the penetration of dust can be prevented by the novel attachment elements and accordingly the degree of protection of the resulting arrangement can be increased.

Description
The present invention relates to a lighting system with an elongate support member to which lighting units are attached. The light band system is designed such that the subsequent attachment of add-on elements, which have optical means for influencing the light output, is possible.
Lichtbandsysteme are known in different forms. They are widely used, as they offer a high degree of flexibility in the individual planning of lighting structures compared to fixed or built-in luminaires. Since such systems consist of individual elements that are assembled according to the modular principle, the entire arrangement can be easily adapted to the premises to be illuminated.

The
The
Depending on the type of field of application for a luminaire or for a lighting system, it is often desirable to protect the luminaire from external influences. In particular, there is often the need to design the luminaire in such a way that it corresponds to the degree of protection IP50, that is to say it is dust-proof. For this it is necessary the shield sensitive components of the luminaire against the environment in a suitable manner. However, this is not possible in a satisfactory manner with the retrofittable optics known hitherto.

The present invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a solution which allows the subsequent attachment of optics or generally of add-on elements of lighting units of a lighting system, which is to be improved by attaching the attachments in particular, the protection of the lamp against external influences.
The object is achieved by a lighting system with the features of claim 1 and by a mounting element according to claim 8. Advantageous developments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
The solution according to the invention is based on the idea of providing sealing means on the attachment element to be attached to the lamp unit, which seal means allow a seal between the lamp unit and the attachment element in the mounted state. In particular, the sealing means are provided on one of the lamp unit facing investment area.
According to the present invention, a lighting system with an elongated support member is accordingly proposed, to which at least one lamp unit with an elongated light source is releasably attached, wherein the lamp unit is associated with a surrounding light source attachment element which has optical means for influencing the light output and releasably attached to the Luminaire unit can be fastened, and wherein the attachment according to the invention comprises at its the lamp unit facing contact area sealing means.
Further, an attachment for releasable attachment to an elongated lamp of a lighting system is proposed, which has optical means for influencing the light output, according to the invention, the attachment element has at its the lamp unit facing contact area sealing means.
By attaching the aforementioned sealing means, the connection region between the lamp unit and the attachment element or the optic can accordingly be sealed, so that in particular the dust protection for the lamp unit is increased. In particular, this makes it possible to achieve the aforementioned degree of protection IP50. To the subsequent attachment to the To facilitate lighting unit, it is preferably provided that the attachment element can be latched to the lamp unit.
According to the invention, the add-on element has a pot-shaped housing with one of the lamp unit facing and for engagement at this particular opening, in which case the sealing means are arranged on the circumference of the opening. In particular, the opening may be elongated, wherein the sealing means have two extending along the longitudinal side of the opening seals.
In order to adequately protect the lamp arranged inside the housing in the mounted state of the attachment element, it is of course necessary for the attachment element to completely surround the lamp. That is, in the present case elongate lamp units end caps or generally end portions are required, which complete the attachment element or the optics frontally. Here, however, there is the problem that often the lighting units of the lighting system are flush with each other. If subsequently an optic should be removed, the position of the luminaire units should remain as unchanged as possible, otherwise the retrofitting of the optics would be associated with too much effort. However, this again means that the required end caps of the attachment may not take up too much space. According to a particularly preferred embodiment, it is therefore provided that the end caps terminate flush with the end regions of the lamp unit. Often the lamp units each have at least one socket holder for holding a lamp socket at their ends, in which case it may then be provided in particular that the end caps each receive an end portion of the associated socket holder flush.
The lower end of the attachment element is preferably formed by a transparent light exit disc. However, since access to the lamp for maintenance purposes should be required, it is preferably provided that the light exit plate is releasably secured to the housing of the attachment. Also at the transition between the light exit plate and the housing of the add-on element sealing means are then preferably provided in order to achieve the desired dust protection. The add-on element may further internally have a luminaire grid for influencing the light output.

The underside of the
The desired dust protection for the
Furthermore, it must be ensured that the penetration of dust is largely prevented even at the front areas.
The subsequent assembly of the
Ultimately, therefore, the solution of the invention opens up the possibility to install in a simple way add-on elements in luminaires of a lighting system, in which case no displacement of the installed lighting units is required. Furthermore, the penetration of dust can be prevented by the novel attachment elements and accordingly the degree of protection of the resulting arrangement can be increased.
