Bei dem Mantelstein dieser Gattung besteht die Innenwand rings um die Durchbrechung aus wärmedämmendem Material, beispielsweise Schaumbeton. Diese Innenwand ist insbesondere radial nach außen von einem Mantel aus tragfähigem Material, wie Leichtbeton umgeben.   5. Use of a mantle stone according to any one of the preceding claims for installation in a through passage (X) of the chimney through a building cover (8).
  6. The use according to claim 5 for installation partially within a heat-insulating outer mantle (10) which partially projects beyond the mantle stone (1).
