Claims (9)

  1. Cable derailing prevention apparatus for carrier/traction cables of cable car systems in an installation (1) including a carrier/traction cable (2), a plurality of rollers (3) flanking a coupling rail at the exit from the station, a plurality of clamps (4) on which the traction means are suspended and at least one roller (5) carrying the cable (2) with a coupled clamp (4) and a series of support or hold-down rollers (6), depending on the cable guidance, wherein in the coupling rail defines a coupling region between the cable (2) and clamps (4), characterised in that arranged before the coupling region of the clamps (4) on the cable (2), in front of the coupling rail there is an alignment device (11), which limits the deflection of the cable (2) caused by a derailing at the series of rollers (6) such that the cable (2) is always located within the mouth opening (12) of the clamp (4).
  2. Cable derailing prevention apparatus as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the alignment device (11) is constituted by a mounting (13), in which there is a bore (14) with dimensions which are larger than the diameter of the cable (2) and depend on the distance from the provided clamping position.
  3. A cable derailing prevention device as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that associated with the alignment device (11) there is at least one cable catching mounting (15) for engagement for the cable (2), coupled to which is the clamp (4).
  4. Cable derailing prevention apparatus as claimed in claim 3, characterised in that the cable catching mounting (15) has a concave surface, which aligns the cable (2) in the direction of the centre of the concavity.
  5. Cable derailing prevention apparatus as claimed in claim 3, characterised in that in addition to the mounting (15) or alone, associated with at least one of the rollers (3), with a coupled clamp (4), supporting the cable (2) there is at least one upper cable catching bracket (16), which limits the upward deflection of the cable (2).
  6. Cable derailing prevention apparatus as claimed in the preceding claims, characterised in that a signalling device is associated with the alignment device (11) which stops the cable car installation as soon as the cable (2) is forced into the alignment device (11), whereby suspension of the clamp is permitted but the cable car installation with a clamp already suspended is stopped and there is thus no danger that the conveying drive means together with the passengers falls down.
  7. Cable derailing prevention apparatus as claimed in the preceding claims, characterised in that it furthermore includes, instead of or in addition to the mounting (15), a guide device (17), which for its part includes a fork (23), which is pivotably connected to the support structure of the coupling rail via a bracket and an upper arm (26), the free end of which is constructed as a support (27) for the cable (2), and includes an upper arm, with a free end (29), which comes into contact with the body of the clamp, whereby established between the support (27) and the free end (29) there is an adjustable spacing (30) in order to permit the totality of the clamp (4) and the cable (2) to pass between the clamp and cable with the cable (2) passing freely above the support (27), with normally effected clamping, whereby the fork (25) is limited in its rotation by an abutment (32), which comes into abutment with the lower arm and is liftable in the event, for instance, of lifting of the clamp caused by an accumulation of snow on the coupling rail.
  8. Cable derailing prevention apparatus as claimed in claim 7, characterised in that the abutment (32) is adjustable.
  9. Cable derailing prevention apparatus as claimed in the preceding claims, characterised in that the lower and the upper mountings and/or the guide consist of rollers which are appropriately constructed and positioned in order to guide the cable (2).
