Claims (12)
- Electrical plug-type connector for a motor vehicle, having two connector members that can be joined together,
with the first connector member being joined to the second connector member by means of snap-in elements once the connector members have been assembled,
with detent means that are integrally moulded onto a fastener element for securing the connection between the first connector member and the second connector member,
with the fastener element being capable of adopting at least two detent positions in respect of the first connector member,
whereby when the connector members are joined together, the detent means release the snap-in elements in the first detent position and secure the snap-in elements in the second detent position,
and whereby the fastener element is undetachably connected to the first connector member and is held non-displaceably in the first detent position by mechanical means, including a resilient element, whenever it is not joined to the second connector member,
characterised in that
when the connector members (1, 12) are not assembled, the resilient element (8) is non-displaceable against a section of the snap-in element (5) designed as a cross-bar (7), and
that as a result of the snap-in element (5) latching into place on a snap contour (13) of the second connector member (12), the cross-bar (7) releases the displaceability of the resilient element (8) and thus of the fastener element (3). - Electrical plug-type connector according to Claim 1, characterised in that the first connector member (1) is attached to the second connector member (12) by way of several snap-in elements (5).
- Electrical plug-type connector according to Claim 2, characterised in that the fastener element (3) shows several detent means (8, 10), at least one of which acts on one of the snap-in elements, respectively, once the fastener element (3) is in the second detent position.
- Electrical plug-type connector according to Claim 1, characterised in that the direction of displacement of the fastener element (3) in relation to the first connector member (1) extends parallel to the direction of insertion of the connector members (1, 12).
- Electrical plug-type connector according to Claim 4, characterised in that, in relation to the first detent position in the direction of displacement of the first connector member (1), the second detent position is located facing towards the second connector member (12).
- Electrical plug-type connector according to Claim 1, characterised in that the fastener element (3) is attached to the first connector member (1) by way of a snap-in connection.
- Electrical plug-type connector according to Claim 1, characterised in that the fastener element (3) and the first connector member (1) are moulded into each other.
- Electrical plug-type connector according to Claim 1 or Claim 2, characterised in that the at least one snap-in element (5) is executed as a catch arm which is integrally moulded onto the first connector member (1).
- Electrical plug-type connector according to Claim 8, characterised in that the catch arm (5) is located approximately parallel to one wall of a receptacle housing (2) and can be swivelled in relation to the wall.
- Electrical plug-type connector according to Claim 8, characterised in that the catch arm (5) is located in the interior of the receptacle housing (2).
- Electrical plug-type connector according to Claim 9 or Claim 10, characterised in that two catch arms (5) are located on opposing walls of the receptacle housing (2).
- Electrical plug-type connector according to Claim 8, characterised in that, in one detent position, detent means (8, 10) restrict the swivellability of the at least one catch arm (5) in at least one direction of rotation.
