L'invention concerne une machine à laver, un séchoir ou similaire amélioré, qui se caractérise en ce qu'il/elle comprend : une cuve statique (1) dotée d'au moins une ouverture (6, 7) ; un tambour (2) rotatif autour de son axe à l'intérieur de la cuve statique (1), une ouverture étant prévue dans ledit tambour ; un moteur d'entraînement (4) accouplé audit tambour (2) et ; un bouclier (8) de tambour situé dans la cuve (1), rotatif autour dudit tambour (2) et coaxial par rapport à ce dernier, au moins une ouverture étant prévue dans ledit bouclier (8).
