Description

The invention relates to a frame block intended to equip a bay, in particular a door, a window or a French window, delimited by an opening in a building wall, said opening being surmounted by a lintel with an open reservation. on the interior side of the building and intended to house a roller shutter, comprising:
  • a frame including a frame to be disposed in said opening and a cover having a rear face for coming against the inner edge of the opening and a front face for receiving at least one opening frame,
  • means forming a support bracket for a shutter, integral with the fixed frame, and having an opening on the inside, and
  • a wall disposed across the opening of the support bracket means.

The invention also relates to a bay block assembly with roller shutter comprising a frame block of the aforementioned type.

The known frame blocks may or may not be equipped with an integrated roller shutter. In the latter case, they form with the roller shutter and its winding mechanism, a set commonly called bay block.

Known berry blocks have a winding mechanism which is located in a trunk of the carpentry overflowing inside the walls of the building. This type of block is installed as an applique against the shell, before doubling the wall inside the building. The intervention on the shutter can then be made easily by access to the trunk from the inside.

However, the roller shutter box overflows inside the house, unsightly way. Indeed, the rolling shutter box forms an unsightly mass visible between the ceiling of a house and the upper end of the frame.

EP 0 771 928 , EP 1 548 224 and FR 2,452,569 all three show a solution of this type, in which the roller shutter box overflows inside the house. EP 1 548 224 corresponds to the preamble of claim 1.

Another way of arranging a frame and a shutter is to insert into the shell inside the lintel above the frame, a housing called Tunnel box to accommodate a shutter winding mechanism. This chest is installed by the mason, during the realization of the structural work. Once the shell is finished, the frame is then applied to wall before doubling the wall. Once the exterior coating is completed, the shutter and its mechanism are installed inside the trunk.

This solution eliminates the unsightly presence of the trunk overflowing inside the house, but it does not allow any access from inside the home. Indeed, only outside access to the safe is possible. This access from the outside is often difficult and can even be dangerous, especially when the bay is located on a high floor of a building. For this reason, it is little used and is usually found in buildings of up to three storeys. In addition, this type of solution generally leads to a phenomenon of cracking in the facade, due to the fact that the materials in the presence have different coefficients of expansion.

The object of the invention is to provide a frame block intended to equip a bay and a bay block assembly with roller shutter that allow access to the trunk of the shutter from the interior of the building and which are aesthetic.

This object of the invention is achieved by the fact that the means forming support bracket are intended to be arranged at least partly in the reservation and the fact that the wall is connected to the support bracket means so that the front face said wall is flush with the rear face of the joint cover.

Thus, the wall that closes the roller shutter box being flush with the rear face of the cover, it is understood that this wall is also flush with the finishes of the interior wall of the building, especially with the inner lining of the wall. It follows that the roller shutter box is completely integrated in the wall, that is to say, not visible from inside the building.

It will be understood that the rear face of the seal strip comes against the inner edge of the opening, which when the interior wall is covered with finishing tackles, for example, backing plates, corresponds to the edge of said backing plates surrounding the opening . In fact, the back side of the cover splashes flush against the edge of the opening located the most inside the building. The same goes for the trunk wall shutter, which in this case is flush with the front face of the wall located in the interior of the building.

In addition, the wall that closes the shutter box can be decorated in the same way as the inner lining of the wall. Indeed, we understand that when painting walls or laying paper painted, the wall can be decorated in a similar way to the inner lining.

After this type of finish, the wall can be completely hidden and only the cover of the frame remains visible from the inside. In fact, the aesthetic appearance is similar to that obtained by installing only a frame without roller shutter.

Préférentiellement, la paroi est amovible.Preferably, the wall is removable.

Thus, because of its mobility, the wall forms a inspection hatch allowing easy and convenient access to the trunk containing the shutter, and this, from inside the building.

Preferably, the support bracket means comprise an upper cross member connected to two lateral uprights secured to the sides of the frame.

The support bracket means are pre-mounted to the frame directly at the factory, so that the frame and the bracket means can be installed in one operation.

The invention also relates to a bay block assembly with a roller shutter, intended to equip a bay, in particular a door, a window or a French window, delimited by an opening in a building wall, comprising a frame block such as aforementioned and all the elements allowing the implementation of the shutter.

For this purpose, the bay block assembly with roller shutter further comprises:
  • a roller shutter drum equipped with a rolling shutter apron to be unrolled outside the frame, the drum being intended to be housed in a reservation provided in a lintel, the reservation being open on the interior side of the building and intended to house a shutter,
  • a winding / unwinding mechanism of said apron, and
  • means for maintaining said drum attached to the support bracket means.

All elements enabling the introduction of the shutter and the roller shutter can be pre-mounted to support bracket means either directly in the factory or by the end user, prior to the establishment of the frame in the opening of the wall of the building. In both cases, the end user manipulates the entire set bay block with roller shutter that can be installed in one operation.

Thus, the end user performs a simple pre-assembly of the roller shutter drum equipped with a rolling shutter apron, the winding / unwinding mechanism of said apron and the means for holding said drum, by fixing them to the gallows means of support. It then suffices to manipulate the assembly to put it in place in the opening of the wall provided for this purpose, housing the drum and roller shutter in the tunnel trunk provided for this purpose in the lintel.

The drum and the winding / unwinding mechanism are preferably removable, so that if necessary, an intervention can be performed easily after the establishment of the assembly in the opening of the building wall.

The invention will be better understood and its advantages will appear better on reading the detailed description which follows, of an embodiment of the invention shown by way of non-limiting example.

  • the Figure 5B represents a partial enlarged view of the frame block of the Figure 5A according to the enlargement VB, and
  • the figure 6 represents a partial view of the frame block according to the invention.

With reference to the Figure 2A , the frame includes a frame 18 to be disposed in an opening 20 formed in a building wall 22 and a cover 19 having a rear face 19ar for coming against the edge of the aperture 20 located in the interior of the building and a front face 19av for receiving at least one opening frame (not shown).

It is understood that when the inner wall 22 is covered with a doubling, in this case of the doubling plates 38 as illustrated on the Figure 2A , the rear face 19ar does not come directly against the inner edge 21 of the opening 20 on the wall 22, but preferably comes against the inner edge 21 'of the opening 20, which is covered with lining. Thus, after installation of the frame block 10, as illustrated on the Figure 2B , the rear face 19ar is flush with the inner edge 21 'of the opening 20, located on one of the doubling plates 38.

The opening 20 delimits the size of the bay (possibly to the thickness near the doubling plates), which can be in particular a door, a window or a French window, and is surmounted by a lintel with an open reservation. 24 intended to house the shutter 16.

The gallows means 14 comprise an upper crossmember 26 and two lateral uprights 28A and 28B, both integral with the lateral sides 12A and 12B of the fixed frame 12.

In this case, the upper transverse cross member 26 is connected to the two lateral uprights 28A and 28B to form the bracket 14 which is connected to the frame 12 by the two lateral jambs 28A and 28B so that the front face 14A of the bracket 14 comes flush with the rear face 19ar of the joint cover 19, as is best seen on the figure 3 .

A wall 30 is disposed across the opening 32 of the support bracket means 14 and the front face 30av of this wall 30 is also flush with the rear face 19ar of the cover 19, as best seen on the figure 4 . It is understood that the front face 30av of the wall 30 is the face which is turned towards the interior I of the building.

In order to allow easy access to the trunk 24, and in particular to the shutter 16 and its mechanism, the wall 30 is removable, that is to say it can be moved to open the opening 32 that it mask preferentially completely when it is put in place.

The frame block 10 also preferably comprises locking means 34 in the upper part 12S of the frame 12, intended to block the lower edge 30i of the wall 30, while the upper part 30s of the wall 30 is clipped to the means forming support bracket 14, preferably with the aid of clip means 36 formed for example on the upper transverse wall 26 of the bracket 14.

Les moyens de blocage 34 comportent préférentiellement au moins un élément élastique 37 apte à venir plaquer la paroi 30, en l'espèce sa face avant 30av, contre la face arrière 19ar du couvre-joint 19.The locking means 34 preferably comprise at least one elastic element 37 able to come to press the wall 30, in this case its front face 30av, against the rear face 19ar of the joint cover 19.

Cet élément élastique 37 est préférentiellement clippé sur la traverse supérieure 12S du cadre dormant 12.This elastic element 37 is preferably clipped onto the upper cross member 12S of the fixed frame 12.

Thus, the wall 30 is on the one hand, clipped in the upper part 30s by the clipping means 36 formed on the upper rail 26 of the bracket 14 and, on the other hand, pressed by the elastic means against the rear face 19ar the cover 19 of the fixed frame 12. The establishment and removal of this removable wall 30 is therefore very easy. As soon as the wall 30 is put in place, the opening 32 of the stem is completely hidden and comes flush, that is to say flush with the doubling of the interior wall I of the building, in this case the doubling plates 38, as illustrated on the Figures 2A and 2B .

It is understood that the doubling plates 38 are such that they have an opening 40 corresponding substantially exactly to the openings 20 formed in the wall 22, and 24 formed in the reservation.

In fact, it is not necessary to provide a portion of doubling plates to come close the shutter box, the wall 30 already acting doubling in the upper part of the frame at the rolling shutter box.

Vu de l'intérieur I du bâtiment, le coffre n'est donc pas débordant et la paroi 30 est dans l'alignement des plaques de finition, en l'espèce des plaques de doublage 38.Indeed, as better illustrated on the Figure 2B , after placing the bay block assembly, the wall 30 acts as a doubling plate and comes into alignment with the doubling plates 38 which "frame" the bay block assembly in a known manner, in particular by coming from them. also flush with the rear face of the joint cover 19. Seen from the interior I of the building, the trunk is not overflowing and the wall 30 is in alignment with the finishing plates, in this case plates dubbing 38.

With reference to the figure 4 , the bay block comprising a frame block 10 as mentioned above, may also be equipped with a roller shutter drum 42 provided with a rolling shutter apron 44 intended to be unrolled outside the frame 12, a winding mechanism / unwinding (not shown) and holding means 46 of the drum 42, and then forms a bay block assembly with a shutter 48 adapted to be arranged in a single manipulation in the opening 20 of the wall and the opening 24 of the reservation provided in the lintel above the opening 20 intended to house the frame 18 of the fixed frame 12.

In fact, the insulation means 50 are held by plating against the means forming a support bracket 14 and the means blocking 34.

Thus, the means forming support bracket 14 have a return 15, located in the upper part, preferably on the upper cross member 26, which acts as a support for the upper part of the insulation means 50. The shape of this return 15 is preferably substantially at right angles, since the insulating means 50 are generally in the form of an insulating plate.

Another return 35 is formed on the locking means 34 to allow the plating of the insulation means 50 in the lower part. This return 35 may for example be in the form of a longitudinal rib located along the locking means 34.

These insulating means make it possible to isolate the shutter box between the interior of the building I and the exterior II. Indeed, through the opening 53 formed in the frame 10 for the passage of the apron of the shutter 44, a stream of air can be created between the exterior II of the building and the interior I of the latter.

The insulation means 50 may be thermal insulation means, but also sound insulation means. The thickness and the shape of these insulating means 50 depend on the space available between the wall 30 and the shutter drum 42. It is understood that the assembly formed by the shutter drum 42 and the deck of the shutter rolling 44 is bulky, less there will be room for insulation means.

The wall may further comprise aeration means 52. In this case, a grid 52 may be provided on the wall 30 so as to allow ventilation of the building.

It may be provided that the insulation means 50 comprise at least one baffle 54 which opens into said aeration means 52, as illustrated in FIG. Figure 5A . It is understood that this baffle 54 makes it possible to limit the noise and heat nuisances induced by the presence of the aeration means 52.

It is understood that when the inner wall 22 is covered by the lining plates 38, the finishing profile forming a joint cover 56 does not directly cover the inner edge 25 of the reservation 24 located in the wall 22, but just covers the edge interior 25 'of the reservation 24 which is covered with the doubling 38.

This joint cover 56, as best seen on the enlargement illustrated in FIG. Figure 5B , in particular makes it possible to mask the seal, that is to say the space that exists between the bracket 14 and the wall 30, in particular on the lateral sides and on the upper side of the wall 30 after an intervention requiring the removal of the wall 30.

Indeed, it is understood that the wall 30 is covered by the interior decoration after implementation of the bay block assembly with roller shutter, the speaker must eventually cut this decoration, especially when it is a paper painted, to be able to remove the wall 30 and access the roller shutter box.

The drum 42 is removably attached to the holding means 46, which are themselves attached to the support bracket means 14, as shown in FIG. figure 6 . Thus, during an intervention after installation of the roller shutter bay assembly, it is sufficient to remove the wall 30 to access the drum 42 and the holding means 46. Thus, the interior I same building , the speaker can perform his intervention by accessing the trunk of roller shutter without any danger for him.

After the installation of the bay block assembly, the interior decoration can be applied in a similar manner on the lining plates 38 and the wall 30. Therefore, the wall 30 becomes completely invisible from the inside I, since it is covered for example with a decoration type wallpaper. To the eye, the appearance is that of a bay that would have been put in place without trunk for rolling shutter.
