Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung zum Entblenden von Außenleuchten enthaltend einen im wesentlichen zylinderförmigen, lichtdurchlässigen Entblendkörper (14) mit einer Oberfläche, welche in axialer Richtung zickzackförmig profiliert ist, so daß die Strahlung eines Leuchtmittels (18), die auf den Entblendkörper (14) auftrifft, in eine gewünschte Richtung ablenkbar ist, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die keilförmigen Vorsprünge des Zickzackprofils in einem ersten Bereich derart ausgebildet sind, daß die Strahlung des Leuchtmittels beim Durchgang durch den Entblendkörper (14) in der gewünschten Richtung totalreflektiert wird und die keilförmigen Vorsprünge (34) des Zickzackprofils (34) in einem zweiten Bereich derart ausgebildet sind, daß die Strahlung des Leuchtmittels (18) beim Durchgang durch den Entblendkörper (14) in der gewünschten Richtung gebrochen wird.
