Claims (17)

  9. The value document according to at least one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the coating contains liquid crystalline pigments and/or contains interference layer pigments.
  10. The value document according to at least one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the marking is present in the form of alphanumeric characters, bar codes, patterns, graphics or microwriting.
  11. The value document according to at least one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that a plurality of markings are present on the value document.
  12. A security paper for value documents, such as bank notes, identity cards or the like, which has a laser marking, the security paper being provided with a coating in at least one partial area, characterized in that the laser marking extends over the border area between coating and security paper.
