  • a folding structure is known, according to which cut, transversely offset to each other part webs are fed to different formers.
  • the horizontally juxtaposed former are z. T. vertically offset from each other.
  • the DE 42 04 254 A1 discloses a folding structure of a four newspaper pages wide printing press, wherein in a lower hopper level two slidable transverse to the direction of web travel formers and in a plane above a single stationary formers are arranged. In one mode of operation, a four-page newspaper is produced side by side over the two lower formers, and in another mode six pages of a directory side by side with the three funnels, the two lower funnels having moved apart in the latter case.
