Definitions
- the invention relates to a lighting fixture, in particular for use as a ceiling and / or wall element, consisting of a frame element and at least one light-permeable medium, on the side facing the observer.
- Lighting fixtures of the generic type are preferably used for suspended ceilings and possibly also walls. Corresponding to the size of the room here is a symmetrical or asymmetric subdivision of the ceiling or wall surface, the installation of the lighting means used including the necessary control devices on the wall or ceiling. Furthermore, these types of lighting fixtures have a medium facing the viewer, which is at least partially translucent and on the one hand enables room illumination and on the other hand denies the view of the installation facilities. Commonly used as lighting means fluorescent tubes, spotlights or other large-area lighting means with indirect light emission, which is usually intended to make a uniform and light-intensive illumination of the room. By using a transparent medium, a sufficient distance between the illumination means and the medium used must furthermore be maintained in order to provide uniform illumination by the illumination body and to avoid unwanted shadowing. If a too dense arrangement of the illumination means is selected behind the medium, individual bright light cone, which are undesirable and also lead to an uneven illumination and shadow effect of the room.
- DE 299 15 399 U describes a compact tile-like lighting fixture (1) consisting of a base element and a hard diffuser for light on the side facing the observer, which on the one hand excludes a glimpse of the lighting fixture and, moreover, makes the emissive LEDs diffuse, with a diffuser behind the diffuser
- a control unit is provided, via which the intensity of the LEDs can be influenced and the respective selection of the LED takes place.
- the LEDs are arranged in groups for use as background radiation and emit different spectral colors, so that additive color mixing leads to the production of color images.
- the LEDs are distributed homogeneously behind the medium.
- a plurality of individual light sources are provided, which are arranged lying at least in one plane and each individually and individually acted upon by a control unit with voltage.
- fixed or variable patterns can be generated behind the medium in accordance with the respectively selected selection and arrangement, so that a punctual light immission takes place with appropriate selection of small-dimensioned individual light sources.
- a starry sky can be generated, which in the following with special star constellations, in particular star signs, with an increased intensity radiation of the individual light sources to a visually very attractive lighting fixture leads to the viewer.
- the necessary control unit in this case assumes the selection of voltage to be acted upon individual light sources and can possibly influence their intensity, so that different, changing star constellations are on the one hand possible or even the targeted representation of individual star images is possible.
- LEDs laser or light-emitting diodes
- the medium consists of a frosted glass pane, a paint film or a stretched, in particular translucent, film.
- a frosted glass for example, an insight into the lighting fixture is excluded by the viewer, so that the existing Instaltations Rheinen are not perceived.
- the individual light sources if they are controlled, perceived weakly emitting and produce the desired lighting effects.
- the use of a preferably dark blue paint film is possible, which also has the aforementioned advantages.
- the design of the lighting fixtures is particularly advantageous with a tensioned, in particular translucent, film which, on the one hand, excludes a view into the lighting fixture and moreover makes the emitting individual light sources appear diffuse.
- the particular advantage of a paint film or, if appropriate, of a translucent film is, furthermore, that possibly also speakers are integrated within the lighting fixture and thus the sound waves can be radiated into the room through the film.
- the light sources can be grouped together in groups and the voltage applied to the control unit.
- the light sources are arranged standing or lying in at least two planes running parallel to the medium.
- the light sources used may in particular consist of a diode matrix, which are optionally used for generating a background illumination or for generating a constellation of stars.
- laser or light emitting diodes can be used, which have an ultra-wide or narrow-beam immission.
- the light sources can be distributed in such a way that the light sources are arranged inhomogeneously or homogeneously behind the medium or that the light sources are arranged in simple geometric patterns, in particular linear, are arranged behind the medium.
- the character of the starry sky becomes particularly clear, because the individual stars are distributed isotropically for a viewer from the earth, whereas, in contrast, given a homogeneous light source distribution, certain graphic patterns can be represented.
- an example linear arrangement of individual light sources in conjunction with a control pulse in ascending order to each individual light source for example, a shooting star or the like can be displayed briefly flashing.
- the individual light sources may in this case be combined in groups or else individually supplied with voltage by the control unit, wherein in the case of a single control, a circuit with series resistors is necessary, whereas in a series connection of multiple light sources, a sufficiently high load resistance is present.
- the light sources can be arranged in groups of letters or numbers or images grouped behind the medium, so that at times an information reproduction or image design is made possible and extends the usability of the lighting fixture.
- the images or information can be displayed only briefly and possibly faded, so that special visual impressions arise and the lighting fixtures can also be used as advertising space, advertising object with changing content.
- the light sources for the background radiation are preferably arranged in a second plane remote from the medium.
- the formation of a second level for the individual light sources can lead to a weak desired background radiation, otherwise with the same intensity radiation due to the existing distance to the medium, a reduction of the light immission and taking advantage of the occurring multiple scattering behind the medium.
- the light sources are perpendicular or inclined to the medium axially adjustable
- the light sources either directly or indirectly via a sleeve axially displaceable in a holder are attached.
- the sleeve or the holder of the light sources can be further secured behind the medium in a second film, a rear or intermediate wall or at least one other flexible and membrane-like movable support material.
- a readjustment during assembly and a desired distance between the light source and the medium can be variably adjusted, which allows independent of the control unit to influence the perceived light intensity.
- the use of a sleeve is proposed in which the individual Light sources, in particular the LEDs are fixed, for example glued, while the sleeve is axially movable in the holder provided.
- the medium, the second film or the carrier material can be used as a speaker membrane and thus the lighting fixture can be used not only to produce different lighting variants, but also by the arrangement of speakers within the lighting fixture and in the special case of the formation of the medium or carrier material can be used as a speaker diaphragm for the emission of music, etc.
- so-called transducers are attached directly to the medium or carrier material.
- the control of the speaker diaphragm can be done directly via individual leads or via the power supply line with a high frequency signal overlay.
- the intensity of the light sources can be influenced and the respective selection of the light sources takes place, optionally an internal or external device, in particular a freely programmable controller (PLC) can be used and thus any individual control of Light sources allows and thus any star configurations or any geometric structure can be displayed.
- PLC freely programmable controller
- the light sources are arranged in groups in groups and emit the same or different spectral colors, so that additive color mixing leads to the production of color images. By using narrow-beam LEDs and the group-wise arrangement of LEDs of different spectral colors, the representation of each mixed color can thus take place with simultaneous intensity influence, so that even pictorial representations are made possible.
- the frame element further lighting element, for example in the form of fluorescent tubes, individual lamps or the like are arranged, which make the normal room illumination.
- the lighting fixtures may also be equipped with music or sound reproduction devices, so that a visual and acoustic presentation can take place.
- FIG. 1 shows a plan view of a lighting fixture 1 according to the invention, which can be used as a ceiling and / or wall element and is fastened with corresponding brackets.
- the lighting fixture 1 consists of a frame element 2, which can be adapted to the individual room arrangements and design wishes. Several of these lighting fixtures 1 are placed next to each other, so that larger ceilings or walls can be covered. For better insight into the lighting fixture 1 this is shown without partially transparent medium.
- a plurality of individual light sources 4 are arranged on a carrier material 3, which consists for example of a film, a back wall or intermediate wall or optionally of a flexible membrane-like movable carrier material.
- the light sources 4 are arranged in an inhomogeneous manner over the carrier material 3 and consist of individual light-emitting diodes (LEDs) 5, which are arranged partially lying or standing.
- LEDs individual light-emitting diodes
- a frosted glass pane can be used, which denies the insight into the lighting fixture 1 for a viewer on the existing installation and the individual light sources 4.
- a paint film or in particular a translucent film can also be made by the existing speakers 6 a sound. If necessary, the light effects and sound can be coordinated with each other, so that the viewer has the impression of a starry sky and perceives the visual stimuli through the simultaneous musical performance.
- FIG. 2 shows in a sectional side view of the lighting fixture 1 according to FIG. 1 ,
- the lighting fixture 1 is formed by the frame element 2, in which the support material 3 is fixed by spacer bolts 7.
- it is an intermediate wall as a carrier material 3, on which in the following the individual LEDs 5 are mounted in existing holes 8.
- the support wall may be formed as a speaker diaphragm and provided with the corresponding electronics for sound wave generation.
- the individual light emitting diodes 5 are accommodated in the embodiment shown in a sleeve 9, which has an external thread 10.
- the sleeve 9 can subsequently be screwed directly into the carrier material 3 with the external thread 10 or, if necessary, be fastened by external nuts 11.
- the control of the LEDs 5 via a control unit 12, which is equipped with a power supply as well as the other light sources.
- Each individual light-emitting diode or light-emitting diode group has a supply line 13 to the control unit 12 and can thus be individually and individually or in groups acted upon by voltage.
- the individual light-emitting diodes 5 furthermore have a different spacing from the tensioned film 14 and, due to their narrow-beam or broad-scattering effect, lead to differently sized light spots on the film 14.
- the film 14 prevents, as already stated above, an insight into the wiring and arrangement of the film Single light sources, so that the viewer of the lighting fixture 1 perceives only the voltage applied to individual LEDs 5. According to the control program of the control unit 12, different star constellations and individual star signs can thus be represented by the LEDs 5. To achieve a visually attractive background radiation, it is possible, for example, to use special blue-emitting light-emitting diodes 5, which are mounted lying on the carrier material 3. Alternatively, there is the possibility that another carrier material is used in two or more levels one behind the other for fixing the LEDs 5. On the edge side lighting elements in the form of fluorescent tubes 15 are arranged along the side including the necessary circuitry in the frame member 2 hereinafter. The film 14 is clamped in specially trained mounting rails 16, which allow the inclusion of a welt 17, which is welded to the edges of the film 14, for example.
- FIG. 3 shows two LEDs 5 in a standing or lying attachment.
- the standing light-emitting diode 5 is inserted in the sleeve 9 with external thread 10 in a bore 18 and, for example, glued, wherein the leads 13 are led out to the rear of the sleeve 9.
- a nut 11 is provided in the following, which may optionally be counteracted above and below the carrier material.
- the supply lines 13 are subsequently connected to the control unit 12, not shown, so that each individual light-emitting diode 5 can be controlled individually and individually.
- the sleeve 9 consists of a diode receiving body 9 and a sleeve body 20, which are connected to each other for the vertically arranged LEDs 5, for example screwed or glued, are. In a horizontal arrangement of the LEDs 5, only the diode receiving body 19 is used and adhered directly to the substrate 3, for example.
- FIG. 4 shows a block diagram of the control unit 12, which is supplied with operating voltage via the supply line 21.
- the fluorescent tubes 15 are connected to their associated chokes 22 to the control unit 12 and can thus optionally and also individually connected to the lighting.
- various arrangements of light emitting diodes 5 are connected to the control unit 12. In the simplest case, the control of a single light-emitting diode 5 via a series resistor 22.
- the second Bescharisart shows two parallel LEDs 5, which are also connected via a series resistor 22 to the control unit 12.
- control unit 5 In addition to the individual control of light emitting diodes 5, there is the possibility of a chain of light emitting diodes 5, which consists in part of a series and a parallel connection of light emitting diodes 5, to connect directly to an output of the control unit 12, so that a plurality of light-emitting diodes 5 summarized in groups when voltage is applied. This is useful, for example, for backlighting the starry sky.
- the control unit 5 also has knobs 23 for adjusting the intensity and the flow rate. This manual adjustment may optionally be assisted by a freely programmable controller integrated in the control unit 12 in such a way that fixed programs of certain star constellations, starry skies, star-flute passages or constellations run in a previously selected program. In addition, it is possible to control the program by external supply lines, so that at any time an external influence on the running program can be made.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a lighting fixture, in particular for use as a ceiling and / or wall element, consisting of a frame element and at least one light-permeable medium, on the side facing the observer.
Lighting fixtures of the generic type are preferably used for suspended ceilings and possibly also walls. It is provided that behind the medium, a plurality of individual light sources are provided, which are arranged lying at least in one plane and each individually and individually acted upon by a control unit with voltage. As a result of the multiplicity of individual light sources, fixed or variable patterns can be generated behind the medium in accordance with the respectively selected selection and arrangement, so that a punctual light immission takes place with appropriate selection of small-dimensioned individual light sources. With appropriate arrangement of the individual light sources and individual control, for example, a starry sky can be generated, which in the following with special star constellations, in particular star signs, with an increased intensity radiation of the individual light sources to a visually very attractive lighting fixture leads to the viewer. The necessary control unit in this case assumes the selection of voltage to be acted upon individual light sources and can possibly influence their intensity, so that different, changing star constellations are on the one hand possible or even the targeted representation of individual star images is possible. Preferably, laser or light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are used for the light sources, which emit an identical or different spectral color. It is therefore possible to make special color designs and to use different groups of individual light sources as background radiation and others for generating a star-shaped point source radiation.
In a further embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the medium consists of a frosted glass pane, a paint film or a stretched, in particular translucent, film. By using a frosted glass, for example, an insight into the lighting fixture is excluded by the viewer, so that the existing Instaltationseinrichtungen are not perceived. In contrast, the individual light sources, if they are controlled, perceived weakly emitting and produce the desired lighting effects. Alternatively, the use of a preferably dark blue paint film is possible, which also has the aforementioned advantages. The design of the lighting fixtures is particularly advantageous with a tensioned, in particular translucent, film which, on the one hand, excludes a view into the lighting fixture and moreover makes the emitting individual light sources appear diffuse. The particular advantage of a paint film or, if appropriate, of a translucent film is, furthermore, that possibly also speakers are integrated within the lighting fixture and thus the sound waves can be radiated into the room through the film.
In order to generate the different light effects, the light sources can be grouped together in groups and the voltage applied to the control unit.
In order to produce differentiated and different light intensities independently of the existing control unit, it is further provided that the light sources are arranged standing or lying in at least two planes running parallel to the medium.
The light sources used may in particular consist of a diode matrix, which are optionally used for generating a background illumination or for generating a constellation of stars. Alternatively, for the light sources laser or light emitting diodes (LEDs) can be used, which have an ultra-wide or narrow-beam immission. In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the light sources can be distributed in such a way that the light sources are arranged inhomogeneously or homogeneously behind the medium or that the light sources are arranged in simple geometric patterns, in particular linear, are arranged behind the medium. Due to an inhomogeneous arrangement of the light sources, the character of the starry sky becomes particularly clear, because the individual stars are distributed isotropically for a viewer from the earth, whereas, in contrast, given a homogeneous light source distribution, certain graphic patterns can be represented. In the case of an example linear arrangement of individual light sources in conjunction with a control pulse in ascending order to each individual light source, for example, a shooting star or the like can be displayed briefly flashing. The individual light sources may in this case be combined in groups or else individually supplied with voltage by the control unit, wherein in the case of a single control, a circuit with series resistors is necessary, whereas in a series connection of multiple light sources, a sufficiently high load resistance is present. Furthermore, the light sources can be arranged in groups of letters or numbers or images grouped behind the medium, so that at times an information reproduction or image design is made possible and extends the usability of the lighting fixture. Advantageously, the images or information can be displayed only briefly and possibly faded, so that special visual impressions arise and the lighting fixtures can also be used as advertising space, advertising object with changing content.
In a further embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the light sources for the background radiation are preferably arranged in a second plane remote from the medium. The formation of a second level for the individual light sources can lead to a weak desired background radiation, otherwise with the same intensity radiation due to the existing distance to the medium, a reduction of the light immission and taking advantage of the occurring multiple scattering behind the medium.
In order to regulate the light intensity of the individual light sources independently of the control unit is provided in a particular embodiment of the invention that the light sources are perpendicular or inclined to the medium axially adjustable, the light sources either directly or indirectly via a sleeve axially displaceable in a holder are attached. The sleeve or the holder of the light sources can be further secured behind the medium in a second film, a rear or intermediate wall or at least one other flexible and membrane-like movable support material. By the proposed mounting of the individual light sources, for example, a readjustment during assembly and a desired distance between the light source and the medium can be variably adjusted, which allows independent of the control unit to influence the perceived light intensity. Advantageously, in this case the use of a sleeve is proposed in which the individual Light sources, in particular the LEDs are fixed, for example glued, while the sleeve is axially movable in the holder provided.
In a further particular embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the medium, the second film or the carrier material can be used as a speaker membrane and thus the lighting fixture can be used not only to produce different lighting variants, but also by the arrangement of speakers within the lighting fixture and in the special case of the formation of the medium or carrier material can be used as a speaker diaphragm for the emission of music, etc. In the latter case, so-called transducers are attached directly to the medium or carrier material. The control of the speaker diaphragm can be done directly via individual leads or via the power supply line with a high frequency signal overlay.
In a further embodiment of the invention, it is provided that via the control unit, the intensity of the light sources can be influenced and the respective selection of the light sources takes place, optionally an internal or external device, in particular a freely programmable controller (PLC) can be used and thus any individual control of Light sources allows and thus any star configurations or any geometric structure can be displayed. In a further particular embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the light sources are arranged in groups in groups and emit the same or different spectral colors, so that additive color mixing leads to the production of color images. By using narrow-beam LEDs and the group-wise arrangement of LEDs of different spectral colors, the representation of each mixed color can thus take place with simultaneous intensity influence, so that even pictorial representations are made possible.
For further room illumination and lighting design is further provided that at least partially along the frame element further lighting element, for example in the form of fluorescent tubes, individual lamps or the like are arranged, which make the normal room illumination. The lighting fixtures may also be equipped with music or sound reproduction devices, so that a visual and acoustic presentation can take place.
