Definitions
- the invention relates to a hand cleaning device, in particular a toilet brush, with a handle and a brush head, the handle and / or the brush head being a hollow chamber have for receiving a cleaning agent, and the brush head having at least one with the hollow chamber communicating opening to the detergent deliver through this opening.
- a hand cleaning device or a toilet brush of the previously described Design is within the scope of the utility model DE 86 03 096 U1 described.
- an airtight screw fitting attached, which enables cleaning agents and / or disinfectants at any time refill in the stem.
- the detergent is dosed sparingly into the hair hole as soon as the brush comes into contact with water.
- the inflow of cleaning or Disinfectant stopped because the hollow body in the stem is sealed airtight at the upper end.
- Similar user-unfriendly hand cleaning devices or Toilet brushes are in the context of DE 200 20 681 U1 or described in DE 200 13 266 U1. In the former case there is a detergent inside the stem. Around To use the toilet brush, a pump is operated. Similar DE 200 13 266 U1, in which an external Refill tank provided to hold the detergent is.
- WO 02/26081 A1 sees an improvement in the Way before that with an interchangeable dosing container working within the stem. Its handling and However, stocks are not convincing.
- the invention is based on the technical problem Hand cleaning device or a toilet brush of the type described above To develop design so that the The detergent is easy to absorb Handling compared to the previously known is improved.
- the hollow chamber as Receiving chamber is designed for a suction piston, which during the suction stroke through the opening Detergent sucks into the hollow chamber and during the pressure stroke the cleaning agent through one or more outlet openings emits.
- the outlet openings have proven to be advantageous to arrange in the head area of the brush head to the Ensure that the detergent escapes at this point. In this way, the detergent is distributed starting from the head area of the brush head over the entire Brush head down to its lowest point. This allows a particularly intensive and even cleaning effect, because the detergent is practically automatic the brush head is distributed.
- the inventive design of the handle ensures this in the form of a kind of syringe. Because depending on the speed, with which the suction piston in during the pressure stroke the receiving chamber is pressed in, the Velocity of the cleaning agent out of the outlet openings Taxes. If this speed is low, so The cleaning agent seeps out of the outlet openings the individual bristles of the brush head and ensures here even wetting. With increased exit speed can also use the detergent as it were sprayed on the surfaces to be cleaned. Of course there is also a during the pressure stroke Changing speeds possible. All of this can Control users.
- the effect described also depends on the Viscosity of the detergent and / or the size of the Exhaust openings.
- the detergent is roughly the properties of Owns water because the detergent is not necessarily in concentrated form from the handle of the hand cleaning device is recorded. Rather arrives mostly a mixture of cleaning agents at this point and water to use. Of course, only be cleaned with (hot) water.
- the opening for receiving the cleaning agent usually provided at the lowest point of the brush head.
- the cleaning agent can advantageously sucked into a container filled with the detergent become.
- This container may be a common one Container for a hand cleaning device or a toilet brush act in which the device in question Alignment is stocked.
- This container or receptacle therefore takes on a within the scope of the invention dual function. It not only serves the hand cleaning device or to hold the toilet brush, but also provides for the absorption of the cleaning agent and, if necessary, its Preparation (mixing, possibly heating etc.). outgoing from the receptacle is the detergent through the lowest opening of the brush head sucked into the hollow chamber in the handle of the hand cleaning device.
- the opening for receiving the Detergent also have a valve.
- the Valve ensures that the detergent is used during the Suction stroke of the suction piston into the hollow chamber in the stem of the Hand cleaning device can occur and during the pressure stroke of the suction piston does not escape from this opening.
- the valve may be one flexible lip act as with reference to the figure description is explained in more detail.
- the handle has lateral retaining projections.
- This Retaining tabs are mostly used so that the stem is pinched between the index finger and middle finger, the two aforementioned fingers on the two Support lateral retaining projections.
- the suction piston more and more during the pressure stroke press into the receiving chamber.
- the holding projections can also be used when sucking in the cleaning agent be used to advantage. Here you mostly get hold the handle with one hand, while the other hand holds the suction piston during the Pulls suction strokes out of the receiving chamber. Overall in this context it turned out to be favorable if the holding projections over a convex surface with in Have a curvature towards the brush head, because then a particularly ergonomically favorable design is present.
- the invention recommends the plastic handle, Metal, wood or a combination of the above Train materials. This allows the hand cleaning device make it visually appealing.
- the in principle the same materials can also be used for the suction piston are used.
- the stem from a clear plastic produce while the suction piston is also made of plastic consists. This can suck up the detergent especially in the hand cleaning device or the toilet brush be observed advantageously. It is also natural, of course in the context of the invention, only a slit of the stem transparent to make the suction process in question (and of course the detergent will leak) too observe.
- suction piston may also be used a base seal formation is equipped to to prevent the detergent on the side of the suction piston can step forward.
- a base seal formation is equipped to prevent the detergent on the side of the suction piston can step forward.
- a hand cleaning device is shown in the figures, at which is a toilet brush in the exemplary embodiment.
- a toilet brush in the exemplary embodiment.
- you like the hand cleaning device shown in principle not only for cleaning of toilets, but there are any uses conceivable, where a cleaning agent by hand to be applied to a brush and / or a surface to be cleaned and the brush in connection with the detergent ensures the cleaning effect.
- the hand cleaning device shown has in his basic structure via a stem 1 and a Brush head 2 with bristles 3.
- the bristles 3 are over the entire exposed surface of the nearly spherical Brush head 2 more or less evenly distributed.
- the brush head 2 has several openings 4, 5, namely an opening 4 for receiving a Detergent and a variety of outlet openings 5 for dispensing the cleaning agent.
- the outlet openings 5 can be found in FIG. 3b in the context of the embodiment in the head area of the Brush head 2. It can be seen that the outlet openings 5 evenly distributed over the circumference of the brush head 2 are arranged and form several rows. As part of the Illustration shows two rows of outlet openings 5, the respective outlet openings 5 offset from one another and are evenly distributed. This is however not mandatory. In any case, there are the outlet openings 5 each between the bristles 3, which form tufts of bristles are summarized.
- stem 1 has a hollow chamber 6 in its interior, which with the concerned Openings 4, 5 communicated, i. H. connected is.
- the brush head 2 may also be supplementary or alternatively have the hollow chamber 6.
- the opening 4 is only one indicated valve 7 assigned inside the brush head 2, which is designed as a rubber rag.
- the hollow chamber 6 is a receiving chamber 6 for a suction piston 8 executed, which is in the hollow chamber 6 and can move down. So that the suction piston 8 cannot be lost is held in the hollow chamber 6, the hollow chamber 6 via stops on the head side 9. A seal on the foot side 10 on the plastic suction piston 8 ensures that the detergent is not on the side can exit the stem 1 past the suction piston 8.
- the handle 1 or the receiving chamber 6 receives cleaning agent through the opening 4 by an upward movement of the suction piston 8.
- the brush head 2 is immersed in a container 11 filled with the cleaning agent, which is shown in detail in FIG. 3a.
- the container 11 has a hemispherical trough 12 which is adapted to the spherical shape of the brush head 2 and is filled with the cleaning agent.
- the cleaning agent can enter the stem 1 or the receiving chamber 6 via the opening 4 when the valve 7 is open.
- the cleaning agent exits to the outside via the outlet openings 5, as is shown in FIG. 2.
- the result of this is that the cleaning agent is distributed on the bristles 3 of the brush head 2 and / or is sprayed against a surface to be cleaned. This depends on the speed at which the suction piston 8 is moved in the receiving chamber 6 during the pressure stroke.
- the stem 1 has lateral in its head area Holding projections 13, each mirror-symmetrical to one Axis of symmetry S are arranged, on which also the opening 4 is located, via which the cleaning agent in the receiving chamber 6 is sucked.
- the two retaining tabs 13 have a convex surface and a Curvature in the direction of the brush head 2 two retaining projections 13 capable of an abutment individual fingers or the entire hand of an operator when Suction stroke and also to provide the pressure stroke. This has already been described in the introduction.
- the handle 1 may be made of transparent plastic his. But there are also designs made of metal or Wood conceivable as well as combinations of the aforementioned materials.
- the suction piston 8 will predominantly be made Manufacture plastic in the course of an injection molding process. In The seal formation can then also be used in this connection 10 can be realized in one go.
- a top knob 14 which ensures that the Suction piston 8 only so far immersed in the receiving chamber 6, as shown in FIG. 2. Knob 14 limits thus the path of the suction piston 8 during the pressure stroke.
- the stops 9 ensure that the path of the Suction piston 8 is limited during the suction stroke.
- the suction piston 8 is consequently captive in the receiving chamber 6 of the Stem 1 held.
