Definitions

  • the invention relates to a protective clothing for use in traffic accidents, with a signal elements having upper body portion which covers the upper body of a helper at least partially, with the features of the preamble of the accompanying main claim.
  • West of this kind are known for example from the WO-00/57736-A1 , of the DE-297 15 347-U1 , of the JP-2000/017507-A1 , of the DE-101 07 203-C1 , of the GB-2 351 651-A or the EP-0 276 498-A1 ,
  • a first step in overcoming this inhibition threshold is the provision of so-called "AIDS gloves" in each first aid kit. But even so, the fear of a first-time helper to get dirty is not completely overcome.
  • a downwardly extending extension is attached to the upper body portion at least on its front side.
  • Such extensions are known, for example, in ponchos, for example FR-2 496 419-A1 or DE-33 45 243-C1 ,
  • This extension provides a kind of apron that protects the clothing of a first responder against contamination when first aid is provided. At the same time, however, the visual perceptibility of the first helper is still ensured by the signal elements having upper body portion and thus for this the desired increased security
  • the upper body portion with sleeves, etc., jacket-shaped and the extension runs forming a jacket on this jacket-shaped upper body portion.
  • Such a protective garment is preferably a so-called disposable product which is to be produced in large numbers and has to be carried in each vehicle, there is the problem that differently sized protector garments are normally to be provided for persons of different sizes.
  • both an elastic band can be used as well as corresponding button or push-button arrangements or in turn adhesive tape.
  • An embodiment according to the invention also has corresponding possibilities of length adjustment in the upper arm region of the upper body section.
  • the sleeve is further on the wrist area with a width adjustable.
  • Cuffs provided.
  • an elastic band can be used as well as corresponding turn designs with (push) buttons or adhesive tape.
  • the jacket In order to protect the wearer of such a protective jacket from the weather, the jacket preferably also has an attached hood. This can be provided around the face with a cord or another elastic band.
  • the particular problem is that it can pose a trip hazard if it is too long for a person wearing it. This represents an additional threat to a helper.
  • the section is separable via a perforation. This is a cheap and reliable way.
  • a particularly preferred embodiment of a protective casing according to the invention has light-reflecting strips both on the outer sides of the sleeves and along the sides of the body. These reflective strips, which can be recognized from the side and run along the body, clearly reproduce the posture of the person wearing the protective coat, especially in the case of lateral exposure. As a result, it can be detected very quickly by the driver of an approaching vehicle in which position a person wearing the protective jacket is or which movement will be performed at the time or else next. As a result, a significant increase in the safety of the person wearing the protective clothing can be achieved.
  • FIG. 1 shows the front view of a protective clothing for use in traffic accidents.
  • This protective clothing has a torso portion 1 covering the upper body of a helper wearing the protective clothing.
  • this upper body section also has light-reflecting strips 2, 3 which extend transversely across the chest or over the back region (strip 3) (strip 3) or longitudinally over the shoulder region (strip 2).
  • strip 3 strip 3
  • strip 2 strip 3
  • strip 2 strip 3
  • the upper body portion 1 is formed jacket-shaped in the example shown here with sleeves 4, 5 and also has a downwardly extending extension 6, through which the protective clothing becomes a jacket.
  • This protective sheath is closed in the example shown here with buttons or snaps 7.
  • buttons or snaps 7 In principle, it is also possible to use a zipper or adhesive tape.
  • the coat is designed for a very tall person. So that a smaller person who wears the coat does not fall over the lower edge 8 of the jacket, the extension 6 is provided in its lower region with a separable portion 9. This section 9 can be torn off along a perforation 10 of the extension 6, whereby the sheath shown shortened accordingly. It is essential that the perforation 10 extends below a light reflection stiffener 11 extending in the lower region of the extension 6.
  • the light reflection strip 11 thus remains on the extension 6 and thus further ensures the necessary safety for the wearer of such a protective sheath.
  • the protective jacket shown here has a width adjustment 12 in the lower region of the upper body portion 1 approximately in the waist region. which is achieved in the example shown here by a circumferential light elastic band.
  • the elastic band does not have to apply high forces, as it only serves to gather the material of the protective clothing.
  • the protective sheath shown here has a corresponding length adjustment 13. This is realized in the example shown here by an over the upper arm encircling elastic, under which a too large sleeve length can be beaten, thus shortening the sleeve to a required length.
  • Another elastic band is found in the illustrated embodiment still on the sleeve cuffs 14, which serve that the sleeves 4, 5 close to the arm of a person wearing the coat end and there also sit relatively firmly and thus slip-proof.
  • the jacket shown here is also provided with a hood 15 which can also be closed around the face area with a drawstring or elastic band.
  • the material of the protective jacket is a lightweight disposable material, preferably polypropylene.
  • a coat of such material is very small collapsible and is rot-proof.
  • Such a jacket is thus particularly suitable for being carried along in a car for an emergency in which only little storage space is available for such emergency products.
  • the polypropylene material is also relatively cheap, so that such a protective suit can be offered inexpensively and is thrown away after a possible contamination readily.
  • a corresponding protective clothing made of polypropylene has the advantage that it is breathable, so that a person wearing it on the one hand from dirt, moisture, etc. is protected, but on the other hand sufficient ventilation is guaranteed to prevent sweating of the person.
  • light reflection strips 16 are provided on the outer sides of the sleeves and along the body sides. These are interrupted in the range of the width adjustment 12 and the length adjustment 13 so as not to represent a hindrance to the adjustments.
  • These light reflection strips which are essentially visible in a side view of the person wearing the protective jacket, signal the posture and body tension of the jacket wearer, from which it is not only possible to recognize, for example, the position of the recognized person by the driver of an approaching vehicle, but it can also it is intuitively recognized which movement the person recognized by the driver will make next. This leads to increased security due to the thus additionally mediated signals.
  • the protective jacket described here is a protective clothing that allows a first responder in a traffic accident, protected from contamination, etc., as well as clearly visible for subsequent traffic to provide first aid, which is guaranteed due to the specific details that the mantle of persons described different size can be worn without hindering their movement.
  • this protective clothing is particularly suitable to be used as part of a first aid kit in a motor vehicle.
