Definitions
- the invention relates to a magnetic yoke of an electromagnetic release for a switching device, wherein the magnetic yoke is provided with a base body made of a ferromagnetic material, and with a magnetic core which is end-mounted on a trip coil.
- a trip coil In an electromagnetic trigger for a switching device, inter alia, a trip coil, a trip arm, a magnetic core and a magnetic yoke are used.
- the trip anchor is separated by an air gap from the magnetic core. If a sufficient current flows through the tripping coil, the tripping armature is set in motion in the direction of the magnetic core for bridging the air gap. The movement results from the thereby developing magnetic field, the magnetic yoke in this case serves for the most extensive closing of the associated magnetic circuit.
- Such electromagnetic release is in connection with a circuit breaker from the EP 0 444 283 B1 known.
- the structure of this electromagnetic release and the associated magnetic yoke is expensive, in addition, there is a large amount of space for the magnetic yoke in installation position.
- a circuit breaker which comprises a magnetic yoke and a magnetic core, which are formed by correspondingly shaped portions of a one-piece conductor, which is formed at its one end to a holder for a bimetallic element and at the other end as an arc guide plate.
- a magnetic yoke of the type mentioned in which according to the invention the base body is formed with the magnetic core as a one-piece assembly.
- the conventional design of this unit is much easier and on the other hand, the unit can be produced more cheaply. Contributing to this include, among other things, the possible use of preplated ferromagnetic ribbons. In addition, eliminates costly turned parts and also material, positive or non-positive manufacturing steps can be saved. Furthermore, the cycle times of the production steps are shortened.
- the production of the one-piece structural unit can be realized for example by means of a stamping and bending technique with a very good material utilization and a very low waste. A single simple tool or tool is sufficient, which in turn can be saved investment funds. Furthermore, with the present idea, the logistical effort in the production run is kept low, since the structures of the units of the electromagnetic release are kept flat and they manage with a small number of individual parts.
- the magnetic core is designed for engagement in the trip coil. This creates the air gap, starting from the total length, approximately in the middle of the trip coil, whereby the electromagnetic effect is effectively utilized.
- the magnetic core has an effective core area adjoining the triggering coil at the end.
- the advantage here is that no separate or integrated magnetic core must be attached or formed. Both the required material as well as any attachment can therefore be saved. Cost-effective, the magnetic core is formed with an end portion of the body as a U-shaped or closed profile.
- the magnetic core is plate-shaped with the end piece of the base body. This variant is characterized by a low material consumption and therefore by a cost-effective production.
- a pair of wings adjacent to the magnetic core, whereby the triggering the underlying electromagnetic principle can be advantageously influenced.
- the magnetic core is formed with the end piece of the base body at least approximately as a cylinder. This embodiment allows a very good material utilization with a very low waste.
- the cylinder is designed as a deep-drawn part. In this case, a cost-saving reduction of the production cycles can be achieved.
- the magnetic core has at least one opening for guiding a triggering armature. Further means for guiding the trip anchor can therefore be omitted, which also results in a saving of material and manufacturing steps.
- main body forms with its free end a leg having a recess disposed therein, which also serves to guide the trigger armature.
- an extension for electrical connection to the trip coil is provided, whereby a connection means is given with little effort and a low material usage.
- FIG. 1 a first magnetic yoke 1a is shown with a main body 2a and with a magnetic core 3a.
- FIG. 2 shows the first magnetic yoke 1a without additional components and without housing in a three-dimensional view.
- the main body 2a is formed with the magnetic core 3a as an integral unit.
- the main body 2a extends from the first magnetic yoke 1a to an ear-shaped portion 4a. Subsequent to the ear-shaped area 4a, an L-shaped bend is arranged, the magnetic core 3a being formed with an end piece 10a of the main body 2a.
- the base body 2a is in this case of a ferromagnetic material, for example. Also a ferromagnetic powder or granules can serve as a base.
- the magnetic core 3 a can be arranged on a trigger coil 5 a end. In this case, the magnetic core 3a has an effective core surface 6 adjoining the trigger coil 5a at the end.
- the trip coil 5a includes a trip arm 7a having a plunger 8a.
- the plunger 8a is guided in an opening 9 of the magnetic core 3a.

Abstract
Description

FIG 7 bis 12 ausgestaltet sein.
