  • Laponite XL (which is dispersed into a volume of water under vigorous agitation); (b) adding the magnesium laureth sulfate to the product of (a); (c) adding the polyethylene glycol to the product of (b); (d) blending avalure and glycerin until uniform; (e) mixing the products of (c) and (d); (f) adding betaine to the product of (e); (g) removing air from the product of (f); (h) adding nylon 66 to the product of (g); 0) casting the product of (h) onto a release liner at 15-mil thickness; and,

  • Linoleic acid is a fatty acid commercially available from Croda Chemicals Ltd. 2 Lipocol-12 is 12 mole polyethylene glycol ether of lauryl alcohol commercially available from LIPO Chemicals Inc. J Eutanol G 16S is hexyldecyl stearate commercially available from Henkel KgaA. L-Menthol is commercially available from Sigma Chemical Co.
  • Montane 80 VGA is polysorbate monooleate commercially available from Seppic.
  • Polyvinyl pyrrolidone is commercially available from BASF Aktiengesellschaft under the trademark "Kollidon 90 F”.
  • Polyethylene glycol 400 is commercially available from ICI Surfactants.

Abstract

L'invention porte sur des compositions de films de gel solide servant à l'administration systémique de substances actives à travers la couche épithéliale de la peau ou des muqueuses, et plus particulièrement sur des disques d'administration contenant un mélange uniforme d'un polymère filmogène et une dose à effet thérapeutique d'une substance active. Le disque d'administration est un dispositif fait d'une couche uniforme non collante qui se dissout dans quelques gouttes d'eau ou de lotion lorsqu'appliquée sur les tissus cutanés ou lorsqu'appliquée sur des tissus muqueux épithéliaux. L'invention porte également sur des procédés d'administration d'une substance active à l'aide du susdit disque, et sur un procédé de préparation du susdit disque.
