Anschließend wird die Kammer 17 mit Wasser gefüllt, bis der Schaber 2 und die Leimdüsen unter Wasser gesetzt sind (Signal des Füllstandssensors 11). Zur Reinigung des Düsenkopfs 3 bewegt sich der Schaber 2 längs des Düsenkopfs 3 bzw. der Führung 5, so daß die Düsenkante oder die Leimaustrittsöffnungen von Leim- oder Papierstaubablagerungen befreit werden. Claims (16)

  1. Cleaning device (13) of a machine of the tobacco processing industry for a glue application element (3) which applies glue to a web (12) of material, in particular a paper web, in a working position (15) and is movable to a cleaning position (16) in the cleaning device (13), at least one scraping element (2) for cleaning the glue application element (3) being provided in a chamber (17), characterised in that the chamber (17) is provided to hold a liquid (14) and in that the chamber (17) has at least one sealing means (10) for sealing from the glue application element (3).
