Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung schafft eine Zündkerze 1 mit einem rohrförmigen, metallischen Gehäuse 2; einem in dem Gehäuse 2 eingebetteten Isolator 4; einer stabförmigen Innenleiteranordnung, die in dem Isolator 4 angeordnet ist und einen Anschlussbolzen 11, einen strombegrenzenden Widerstand 12, einen beschichteten Kontaktstift 13 und eine Mittelelektrode 5 aufweist; und mit mindestens einer Masseelektrode 6, die an dem Gehäuse 2 angebracht ist; wobei die Mittelelektrode 5 und/oder die Masseelektrode 6 einen Zuführbereich 8, 9, 10 zum Zuführen eines brennbaren Gemisches an eine vorbestimmte Funkenstrecke aufweist; und eine Brennraumanordnung mit: einer Zündkerze und einem Einspritzventil, das mindestens ein Paar Einspritzlöcher 22, 22' aufweist, wobei deren Gemischstrahlen die Zündkerze 1 radial flankieren.
