Abstract

L'invention concerne un séparateur électrostatique conçu pour la séparation de particules fluides ou solides contenues dans un flux gazeux. Ce séparateur électrostatique comprend un tube (1), traversé en sens longitudinal par le gaz à purifier et dont la paroi intérieure (1A) forme une électrode de précipitation pour les particules à séparer. Une électrode interne (2) est agencée, de manière décalée dans le sens longitudinal, au centre de l'intérieur du tube (1) et un champ électrique haute tension est formé dans l'espace situé entre cette électrode interne et l'électrode de précipitation. L'électrode interne (2) présente, côté entrée, une première partie (2A) de faible surface de section et, côté sortie, une seconde partie (2B) de surface de section supérieure à celle de la première partie. Cette première partie sert essentiellement à la formation d'une décharge en couronne et la seconde partie à la formation d'un champ de séparation électrostatique. Un organe de purification (3), qui sert à la purification de la partie formant la décharge en couronne, est déplacé par rapport à ladite électrode interne et mis en contact avec cette dernière. L'élément d'actionnement (4) est agencé pour entraîner un mouvement relatif à faible encombrement au sein de l'électrode interne creuse (2).
