Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a recliner or sofa according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the frame part and the base are integrally formed.
  • the pivoting into a lying position is usually carried out by shifting the weight both on the seat part and on the backrest, as a result of which the seat part is pushed forward, while at the same time the backrest pivots backwards.
  • the seat part is pushed forward, it is lifted from the frame part, more specifically in the front area facing away from the backrest than in the area facing the backrest, so that overall a steeper seat position results.
  • This lifting of the seat part is made possible by the guide strips, which are designed as wedge runners, the slopes of which are each operatively connected to the associated guide member.
  • a disadvantage of the known recliner chair or sofa is that the backrest moves away from the base when pivoting into a reclining position, ie the distance to the base increases. This requires a corresponding back space so that such a recliner or a recliner cannot be placed directly on a wall.
  • the usability of such a piece of furniture is restricted, in particular of a reclining sofa, since it is necessary to move away of a partition is particularly difficult due to the dimensions and weight.
  • the wall-free pivoting of the backrest is achieved in that the frame part and the base are designed as separate parts and the frame part is movable relative to the base.
  • the coupling links are formed in one piece, the front, facing away from the backrest, being rotatably attached to the seat part.
  • An elongated hole provided in the fastening area with the seat part makes it possible to change the height of the seat part at the outset by means of the wedge runners.
  • the coupling links are designed in two parts as link links, the individual link links likewise being articulated to one another.
  • This embodiment of the invention according to claim 1 enables a parallel displacement of the frame part relative to the base. While in the one-piece design of the coupling links described above, the frame part executes an arcuate pivoting path, which can lead to problems particularly in the case of manual pivoting with regard to the necessary expenditure of force, the parallel displacement of the frame part is Extremely user-friendly, as essentially only possible by shifting weight, as without any additional effort, as was previously the case.
  • the system forming a link chain is statically determined by its additional support levers, which are rotatably connected on the one hand to the respective link plates and on the other hand to the frame part, and fixed in its movement sequence.
  • a handle lever to one of the coupling links, with which the pivoting movement can be carried out or supported by manual force.
  • the longitudinal guide can be provided on a cheek of the frame part, for example in the form of a longitudinal guide rail, while the guide means are designed as rollers, two of which are expediently firmly connected to the base.
  • the cheek and with it the frame part attached to it move, fixed by the longitudinal guide and the guide means, parallel to the base, i.e. with a reclining chair set up parallel to the floor.
  • the second lever which is rotatably attached to the frame part, has an elongated hole in the connection area with the seat part, in which a guide pin connected to the seat part is guided, so that the stroke resulting from the wedge runners attached to the seat part or the pivoting movement of the seat part is compensated.
  • the wedge runner with the guide member attached to the frame part constitutes a brake by means of which the seat part is locked in any pivoted position.
  • the invention allows sofas to be designed in such a way that only part of the seats can be pivoted into a lying position, while the other part is rigid.
  • the individual seats are expediently connected in the area of the foot frames.
  • a recliner is shown, the basic structure of which consists of a seat part 1, a backrest 2 pivotally attached to it by means of an articulated axis 14, a frame part 3 and a base 4.
  • the seat part 1 On the underside, the seat part 1 has guide strips 7 which are designed as wedge runners and are guided in a guide member 8 connected to the frame part 3.
  • a support bracket 13 is rotatably arranged on the backrest 2 and is rigidly connected to the frame part 3.
  • two coupling links 5, 6 are provided, which are rotatably connected both to the base 4 and to the frame part 3.
  • the front coupling element 5 facing away from the backrest 2 is also pivotally attached to the seat part 1, with an elongated hole 18 extending in the longitudinal axis direction being arranged in the coupling area in accordance with FIGS. 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6, 7 in FIG which is guided a pin on the seat part.
  • FIG. 3 An alternative to the elongated hole 18 is shown in FIG. 3, wherein instead of the elongated hole on the coupling member 5, a connecting bracket 19 is articulated, which is rotatably connected to the seat part 1.
  • the coupling links 5, 6 each consist of link tabs 9, 10 and 11, 12 which are articulated to one another. While the upper link bracket 10 of the front coupling link 5 is attached at the end to the seat part 1 in the slot 18 or with the connecting bracket 19 and further to the frame part 3, the lower link bracket 9 is articulated on the one hand at the base 4 and on the other hand for static determination via a connecting link 17 attached to the frame part 3, the connecting link 17 being rotatably connected to both the frame part 3 and the link plate 9.
  • the link plate 9 is angular.
  • the angled part 16 extends in the swung-out lying position of the furniture parallel to the frame part 3 to the front. This design enables a front panel which can be connected to the base 4 to be swiveled over without interference.
  • the opposite coupling member 6 facing the backrest 2, which consists of the two link plates 11, 12 is connected for static determination to a coupling link 15, which is preferably rotatable in the middle of the link plate 11, based on their length, while on the other hand it is articulated to the frame part 3.
  • the seat part 1 In cooperation with the link plate 12, the seat part 1 performs a predetermined pivoting movement when pivoting, which, due to the support plate 13 and the articulated axis 14, follows the backrest 2.
  • the lengths and distances always refer to the center of the respective joint axes.
  • a hand lever 20 is provided as a pivoting aid, which is rotatably connected to the frame part 3 and which is connected to a connecting member 21 which is likewise articulated on the seat part 1 in the connecting region of the coupling member 5 with the seat part 1.
  • This hand lever 20 basically allows the recliner to be pivoted without shifting weight, at least it serves to support it.
  • a servomotor 22 is provided for pivoting, which is connected on the one hand to the base 4 and on the other hand to the coupling link 15, the servomotor 22 being retracted for pivoting out.
  • FIGS. 8 and 9 show a recliner chair in which the frame part 3 has a cheek 27 to which a longitudinal guide 25 is fastened, which is parallel to the support of the base 4 runs and are guided in the center of the guide in the form of guide rollers 26 which are attached to the base 4.
  • a first lever 23 is articulated on the base 4, to which a second lever 24 rotatably connects, which is pivotably mounted on the frame part 3 and likewise pivotably on the seat part 1. While the pivoted-in position is shown in FIG. 9 shows the swiveled out position, it being clear to see that the longitudinal guide 25, for example in the form of a U or L rail, slides forward on the guide rollers 26, taking the frame part 3 with it. Here, the frame part 3 is also moved parallel to the base 4 or its support, as in the recliner according to FIGS. 1 to 5.
