Definitions

  • the invention relates to a chair with a seat according to the preamble of claim 1, wherein the chair between a sitting and lying position is pivotable, to which the seat is displaced to the rear.
  • Such chairs are known and are also referred to as sitting and lying furniture. They allow an adjustment of the position between a "normal" upright sitting position and a far back, z. B. approximately horizontally oriented lying position.
  • an additional leg rest can be swung forwards / upwards.
  • the problem is the distance between the front edge of the seat and the floor, which limits the size of the leg rest.
  • pull-out legrests are used, which are operated via scissors lever systems, Bowden cables, etc.
  • the DE 198 30 418 A1 discloses an armchair in which the seat member is arranged to be slidable rearwardly with respect to the underframe and is coupled to the backrest by connecting means which, when the seat member is displaced rearwardly, tilt the backrest rearwardly, the backrest engaging with the seat member and the underframe is connected by adjusting means, which can make changes in the tilt angle of the backrest, regardless of the position of the seat.
  • the footrest is coupled to the underframe and the seat so that they Moving the seat backwards and forwards / upwards.
  • the footrest is coupled to the underframe and the seat by a scissor system arranged inside behind or below the footrest. Similar to the one from the DE 296 00 282 U1 known chair a Bowden cable is provided, which is used to move the plate elements of a double plate arrangement against each other use.
  • the DE 44 30 303 A1 discloses a chair with fold-out legrest, in which the seat is pivoted when swinging the legrest up to increase the clear height under the seat part, so that the legrest can be swung despite greater length than the clear height.
  • the seat part is articulated on a seat joint near the seat of the frame and the legrest with its one end to a knee joint directly to the seat part and coupled together so that the seat part in intermediate positions during insertion and Ausklappvorgang by pivoting about the seat joint on the side of his knee joint the stand surface is automatically raised.
  • the DE 37 18 645 A1 also discloses a chair with swiveling legrest, in which the legrest is pivotable between a folded-out with the seat part substantially unfolded end position and a folded down at least partially under the seat part end position.
  • the leg rest consists of a thigh part and a lower leg or foot part hinged to it. These are connected by coupled drive and transmission means. In an intermediate position during the unfolding process, the thigh part and the foot part form an acute angle.
  • the drive and transmission means have a coupling gear, which includes a thigh rocker, a foot pad and hiss links.
  • the thigh rocker is connected to the thigh part and hinged to a seat-mounted seat joint.
  • the Theticiankoppel is connected to the foot part and hinged to a knee joint of the thigh swing.
  • the intermediate links are connected to one another at a common joint.
  • An intermediate member is at a hinge of the femoral and the other intermediate member is at one Wrist joint of the foot pad jointed near the knee joint.
  • the demandingkoppel has a on the opposite side of the knee joint on the hinge joint projecting, the free end of the foot forming lever.
  • the joint joint is in both end positions under the action of a holding member in each case in a stable position.
  • the mechanism comprises a substantially fixed, linearly extendable element, which is connected to the frame and is pivotally articulated to the leg rest, and a pivotable, linear extendable element, which is fixedly connected to the leg rest and pivotable with the substantially fixed, linear extendable element is articulated.
  • the extendable elements are designed as telescopic profile rails. A portion of the substantially fixed rail is connected to the frame and the other part pivotally connected to the leg rest.
  • One part of the pivotable profile rail is accordingly pivotable with the frame and the other part, which is fixedly connected to the legrest, is pivotally connected to the part of the substantially fixed profile rail, which is pivotally connected to the legrest. Also, when moving the seat over a parallelogram-like lever system, the substantially fixed rail is changed in their orientation, so that a chair structure is achieved, despite the simple, stable construction a smooth and harmonious and soft pivoting of the legrest allowed (see, for Page 7).
  • leg rest in the pivoted state is approximately vertically downwards.
  • a light, elegant overall visual appearance of the chair can not be realized.
  • the users still want the pull-out and pivoting mechanism smoother and more harmonious pull-out and pivoting mechanism.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a chair with a seat and a swinging leg rest, which is very simple and without complex mechanics to adjust between the sitting and lying position.
  • the leg rest in the pivoted position "invisible" should be located below the seat and still provide in the swung-out position sufficient support surface for comfortable storage of the legs available. It is also particularly important that a smooth overall movement sequence results when pivoting.
  • the leg rest has a thigh part and a lower leg part, which are pivotally connected to each other, that the lower leg part is pivoted to the rearward displacement of the seat from a position approximately parallel to the seat and below the seat in an approximately horizontal position, it is It is possible to swivel the leg rest below the seat and approximately parallel to it, so that it does not disturb the appearance of the chair.
  • this embodiment allows the provision of a leg rest with a particularly large contact surface, since the leg rest is not only pulled out, but also opened.
  • the lower leg part may be pivotally hinged to the thigh part and be pivotally connected to the second sliding bearing.
  • a particularly harmonious and smooth movement of the leg rest from the pivoted to the pivoted position is achieved when the second slide bearing is suspended between the seat and frame so that their angle changes during pivoting.
  • the second sliding bearing is on the one hand pivotally suspended on the frame and on the other hand articulated via a lever on the seat, so that it is arranged vertically variable in the rear region during pivoting.
  • the lever is a Z-shaped multi-part lever, in which the individual partial levers can be arranged pivotably against each other.
  • the thigh part is connected by means of the first sliding bearing with the setting levers and articulated by means of the second sliding bearing on the fixed frame, wherein the thigh part forms the pivotal connection between the first sliding bearing and the second sliding bearing.
  • a chair designated as a whole with 1 or the underlying this mechanics is shown, for reasons of clarity, a possibly existing backrest, swivel base, armrests, etc. are omitted. It is understood that the backrest can be firmly coupled with the still to be described movement of the legrest or can be configured completely independently adjustable.
  • the chair 1 is between one in the FIGS. 1 and 2 shown sitting position and one in the Figures 5 and 6 shown lying position adjustable, with one in the Figures 3 and 4 is passed through shown intermediate position.
  • the chair 1 comprises a seat 2, a fixed frame 3 and a retractable and retractable and swing out and leg rest. 4
  • the seat 2 consists essentially of two angled on the top cheeks 5, which are arranged on the respective sides of the chair and connected via corresponding struts.
  • the frame 3 consists essentially of an approximately U-shaped support 6 which extends downwardly and to which the rotary foot, not shown, is attached. At the respective end sides of the support 6 are also belonging to the frame 3 side cheeks 7, which extend obliquely upward sloping forward.
  • the cheeks 5 are pivotally connected in the rear area via a pivot lever 8 with the cheeks 7 of the frame. In the front area, the cheeks 5 are connected in accordance with pivotable setting lever 9.
  • the seat 2 for initiating the adjustment movement of the sitting position (see. Fig. 1 ) in the lying position (see. Fig. 5 ) are moved backwards, wherein the seat 2 is slightly lowered in the rear and slightly raised in the front area compared to the fixed frame. 3
  • the leg rest 4 is arranged at the front edge of the seat 2 and their cheeks 5, the leg rest 4 is arranged. This has a thigh part 10 and a pivotally connected lower leg part 11. The lower leg part 11 is pivoted in the rearward displacement of the seat 2 from a position approximately parallel to the seat 2 and below the seat 2 position in an approximately horizontal position.
  • the lower leg part 11 consists essentially of levers 15 which are pivotally attached to the thigh part 10 and connected to each other via corresponding struts.
  • the thigh part 10 essentially comprises two angle plates 16 arranged on the respective left and right sides of the leg rest 4.
  • the angle plates 16 are linearly displaceable via first slide bearings 12 with the erection levers 9 and are pivotably connected via swivel levers 17 to a second slide bearing 13.
  • the rocker arms 17 are transversely stiffened.
  • the leg rest 4 is thus connected by means of the first sliding bearing 12 to the raising levers 9 and articulated by means of the second slide bearing 13 via the pivot lever 17 to the fixed frame 3 and the cheeks 7.
  • the first sliding bearing 12 is thus pivotally connected to the second sliding bearing 13.
  • the angle plates 15 of the thigh portion 10 are connected by means of the first slide bearing 12 with the Aufstellhebein 9 and articulated by means of the second slide bearing 13 on the fixed frame 3 and their cheeks 7.
  • the thigh part 10 formed the pivotal connection between the first sliding bearing 12 and the second sliding bearing 13.
  • the lower leg part 11 is pivotally hinged to the thigh part 10 and connected via a pivot lever 14 pivotally connected to the second slide bearing 13, to which the lever 14 is articulated to the lever 17.
  • the sliding bearings 12 and 13 are so-called ball rail, so consist of rails, which are arranged linearly displaceable ball bearings.
  • the first sliding bearings 12 are thus each secured between the raising levers 9 and the corresponding angle plates 16 of the femoral part 10.
  • the angle plates 16 are linearly displaceable relative to the raising levers 9.
  • the second slide bearings 13 are therefore pivotally (not visible) articulated in the front region on the respective cheek 7 and designed in the rear area so that their orientation changes during pivoting.
  • the individual parts 18A, 18B and 18C are arranged pivotable relative to one another.
  • the one part 18 A is firmly welded to the seat side cheek 5.
  • the second part 18C is pivotally attached to the second slide bearing 13.
  • the parts 18A and 18C are hingedly connected via the third part 18B.
  • lever 17 is compressed or pulled apart when moving the seat surface 2, so that each attached thereto rear portion of the second sliding bearing 13 raises or lowers.
  • the user shifts his weight to the rear, so that the seat 2 or its cheeks 5 move backwards relative to the frame 3 or its cheeks 7, wherein the cheeks 5 are guided in the rear area by the pivot lever 8.
  • the thigh member 10 is pivoted upwards and forwards (see. Fig. 4 ).
  • the parts 18A, B and C of the Z-shaped lever 18 pivot to each other, so that the rear portion of the second slide bearing 13 is slightly raised by shortening the articulation points of the parts 18A, B and C to each other. As a result, a harmonious overall movement is achieved in which "nothing is stuck".
  • the parts 18A, B and C of the Z-shaped lever 18 have their apex of shortening the articulation points of the parts 18A, B and C to each other and again pivoted back or forth, so that the rear portion of the second sliding bearing 13 after its lifting is lowered again.
  • the final position of the chair 1 is chosen and by a limiting element 19 (see. Fig. 3 and 5 ) is limited to being held by the weight of the user.
  • the leg rest 4 is positioned much higher than usual and at the same time offers an extended support surface for the legs.
  • the assumption of the sitting position can also be achieved by the shifting of the weight of the user, if necessary with the assistance of a spring, not shown, by reversing the above-described movements.
