  • An L-shaped joining foot 48 is formed by cutting a slot 50 so as to allow the blank to be rotated through one quarter of a turn during manufacture. This simplifies the construction of the tools. By having the slot 50 face the rear with respect to the direction of advance f of the strip during manufacture, it is easier to cut and bend the blanks and there is a reduced risk of buckling. By making that part of the blank which is intended to form the body (Figure 7) face the front, in the direction f, helps to achieve this same result.

Claims (12)

  1. Borne de connexion électrique femelle constituée d'un contact monobloc (10) fait de tôle découpée et pliée, comprenant un fût arrière destinée à être raccordée en permanence à un conducteur et un corps avant ayant une base de section transversale rectangulaire, dont les deux faces opposées se prolongent vers l'avant sous la forme de lames de contact (18) qui convergent et d'une cage de protection de section transversale rectangulaire qui entoure le corps, la cage (30) comprenant au moins un moyen (40) faisant saillie vers l'intérieur, qui limite l'étendue dans laquelle les lames de contact (18) se rejoignent et qui les maintient dans un état de précontrainte orientée vers l'extérieur, le moyen (40) faisant saillie vers l'intérieur étant formé dans une paroi latérale de la cage,
    caractérisée en ce que
    les lames de contact (18) comportent chacune, au niveau de l'endroit où elles prennent appui sur le moyen (40) faisant saillie vers l'intérieur, une saillie latérale (44) qui s'engage dans une fenêtre (46) ménagée dans la paroi latérale, de chaque côté du moyen (40) faisant saillie vers l'intérieur.
  2. Borne de connexion électrique selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que le moyen en saillie (40) consiste en un crevé orienté vers l'intérieur réalisé dans une face latérale de la cage (30).
  3. Borne de connexion électrique selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que le moyen en saillie (40) consiste en une languette découpée et pliée et solidaire du reste de la cage uniquement par son extrémité arrière.
  4. Borne de connexion électrique selon l'une des revendications qui précèdent, caractérisée en ce que la base (16) comprend deux bords reliés l'un à l'autre dans une face de la base dépourvue de lame et vis-à-vis des saillies latérales.
  5. Borne de connexion électrique selon l'une des revendications qui précèdent, caractérisée en ce que la cage consiste en une bande comportant trois pliages à 90° et en ce qu'une des faces d'extrémité se prolonge au-delà de la section rectangulaire du côté opposé à celui comprenant la languette.
  6. Borne de connexion électrique selon la revendication 5, caractérisée en ce que l'autre face d'extrémité comporte deux cosses de fixation orientées vers le bas (34) passant dans des fentes ménagées dans la face d'extrémité en saillie.
  7. Borne de connexion électrique selon l'une des revendications qui précèdent, caractérisée en ce que la cage comporte un doigt élastique (33) pour bloquer la borne en position, ce doigt faisant saillie vers l'extérieur, à partir du côté où la face de la cage fait saillie.
  8. Borne de connexion électrique selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisée en ce que les lames s'étendent à partir de deux des faces de la base et que chacune comporte une protubérance longitudinale de renforcement (20).
  9. Borne de connexion électrique selon la revendication 8, caractérisée en ce que l'extrémité des lames est profilée de manière à avoir une forme convexe dans les zones destinées à venir en contact avec un contact mâle complémentaire.
  10. Borne de connexion électrique selon la revendication 8 ou 9, caractérisée en ce que la base tubulaire (16) consiste en une portion comprenant quatre pliages à 90°, dont un bord comporte une encoche centrale (22) dans laquelle une protubérance (24) de configuration correspondante ménagée sur l'autre bord vient s'adapter.
  11. Borne de connexion électrique selon la revendication 7, caractérisée en ce que le contact comporte un bossage (28) orienté vers l'extérieur disposé de manière à faire office de portée pour le doigt élastique (33) pour limiter la déformation dudit doigt.
  12. Borne de connexion électrique selon une quelconque des revendications qui précèdent, caractérisée en ce que ledit moyen (40) faisant saillie vers l'intérieur consiste en une entaille réalisée au moyen d'au moins deux traits de coupe parallèles à l'axe principal du contact.
