Definitions

  • the invention relates to a fabric, in particular a stab protection fabric according to the Preamble of claim 1.
  • the fabric can also be used for other purposes, e.g. can be used as jewelry fabric.
  • a tissue is known in which circular scales are connected to one another, that there is a flat roof-like connection.
  • the single ones Scales each have two arms that point upwards from the scale itself and be connected to recesses in the neighboring shed.
  • This tissue can also be used as a stab protection fabric, but is due to the stiff and immobile due to the circular shape overlap.
  • there is Danger that the connecting arms formed on the scale due to their arrangement to be damaged.
  • FR-A 2 086 750 Another fabric is known from FR-A 2 086 750, which essentially consists of even and straight polygons is composed. Adjacent pages have connecting arms or slots, so that the connecting arms of a scale can dive into the slots of the neighboring scale. The arms are however designed so that they are only inserted through the adjacent element and lock it there with the appropriate positive locking. This results in a Fabric in which the individual scales lie side by side without overlap. In the corner area of the shed, this fabric is also not puncture-proof because it is should not be provided for this purpose.
  • Fabrics are also known as stab protection fabrics for personal protection, which are produced by drilling scales and the individual scales with wire get connected. This type of manufacture is proportionate complex, but at least meets the security requirements in European area.
  • the stab protection fabric also offer protection against sticklebacks and ice axes, which help the known tissues can penetrate them unhindered.
  • the scales are no longer over each other separate connecting elements, such as. B. wire rings, with each other connected.
  • the fasteners are on the scales directly molded on, so that when connecting the different scales overlap the scales. Thereby it is no longer possible to take sticklebacks between the scales pass therethrough.
  • the only place that may still be penetrated are the holes in which the fasteners immerse, the diameter of which depends on the respective requirements can be adjusted so that almost no risk remains.
  • the Fasteners themselves are made of the same material as that Made scales so that they do not bend easily release even if an attacker violently admitted the tissue penetrate seeks. In spite of the flat connection given with it of the tissue itself results from the interaction of the bore and connecting element sufficient mobility.
  • the fabric is also suitable for other areas of application such as B. in jewelry or Decoration area suitable. It doesn't just result aesthetic, largely closed exterior, due to the As far as possible, this tissue can even be used for many uses, such as B. as a bracelet or as a basic material be used for the production of bags.
  • the individual scale can have any shape, however, a square shape according to the Claims 5 and 6 chosen, the corners of which are rounded. Thereby becomes the mobility with constant stab protection security increased compared to other shapes or angular shapes, while at the same time can be ensured that a full area overlap takes place.
  • the fabric according to FIGS. 4 and 5 consists of a variety of interconnected scales 10, 11, 12 which are used for connection have mutually bores 10a, 11a, 12a in the connecting elements Immerse 10b, 11b, 12b in the form of connecting arms.
  • This fabric can e.g. can be used as stab protection fabric because there is an increased puncture due to the existing overlap Opposed resistance. This will also make this tissue Meet the requirements for the approval of the fabric as stab protection fabric require an ice pick to puncture or stickleback is not possible.
  • the fabric can also be used for other purposes, be it with the 4 to the outside or with the inside according to Fig. 5 are used.
  • it can be used in Jewelry field or in the manufacture of metallic fabrics for Receptacles, e.g. Bags on.
  • the scales are arranged so that they are overlap like a tile roof.
  • FIGS. 1, 3 and 6 are the Connecting elements 10b, 11b, 12b, 13b directly on the scales 10, 11, 12, 13 molded.
  • the scales 10 which are identical to one another in their basic form, overlap at least two adjacent scales 14 in the tissue (FIG. 5) and are overlapped by at least two scales 11.
  • the scale has a shape as shown in Fig. 1.
  • everyone Bore 10a is a connecting arm designed as a connecting element 10b on the other side of the scale essentially diametrically opposite to the center of this surface.
  • the scale itself has an even number of pages 10c ... 10f or in Fig. 6 12c ... 12h on, the sides containing a bore 10a, 12a side by side lie and the sides in which at least one connecting element 10b is formed, also lie side by side.
  • the scales overlap from row to row but also in the respective one Line.
  • a configuration according to FIG. 3 can also be carried out are, with each side of the scale 13 a plurality of holes 13a or several connecting elements 13b are provided.
  • the single ones Connecting elements can be made thinner as a result that the diameter of the bores 13a can be reduced at the same time however, this leads to a loss of mobility as the Elements are more rigidly connected.
  • the basic shape of the scales is preferably as in FIG. 1 or 3 a square with rounded corners, which is preferably a square is.
  • the square shape leads to an optimal arrangement of the scales, because with constant stab protection security the mobility over other shapes or angular shapes is increased and at the same time can be ensured that a full area overlap takes place. Nevertheless, other forms, such as a hexagonal shape according to FIG. 6 is possible, if only a corresponding one Overlap can be ensured. However, such will be Shapes selected and / or the corners not rounded, results in earlier locking of the tissue in itself, so that mobility suffers from this.
  • Fig. 2 shows the arrangement of the individual scales side by side.
  • the Connecting element 10b of the overlapping scale 10 engages in Fig. 2 from below in the bore 11a.
  • the connecting element 10b is then bent over the overlapping scale 11 to overlapped scale 10 bent back. This continues as long as until the end 10b 'of the connecting element 10b on the overlapped one Scale 10 rests again.
  • the fabric is preferably therefore metallic.
  • the ends are to allow fabric fabrication 10b 'of the connecting elements tapered and rounded on the end.
