Description

Un tel bigoudi est connu par DE-A- 3605720.The invention relates to a curler (9) comprising the features of the preamble of claim 1. Such a curler is known from DE-A- 3605720.

For a long time, we have sought to create self-fixing curlers. Various systems have been developed, but for the first time the invention presents a system of combs (1 and 8) whose teeth have, at their base, a channel (2) designed to retain the hair, both at the start of the winding (hair tips) only at the end, for fixing.

Spike retention systems (start of winding) are designed so far either with point paper, rubber bands, or brushes, or velcro. As for the fixing, it is ensured by elastic bands, pins or pliers. No system combines the retention of tips and fixing the curler itself.

The channel system (2) has the advantage of contributing to both retention of the tips only at the final fixation of the curler. The document, FR-A- 325332 shows a comb comprising a channel between two consecutive teeth for fixing the comb in the hair.

Because these retention channels (2) allow the hair to slide therein gently during the winding, we get at the same time a caress on the scales of the hair, hence a beneficial and smoothing effect, which avoids make the hair electric.

The object of the invention is to solve at once the double problem of fixation of the tips and that of the curler, while removing that of the hair made electric by the aggression of materials fixing it by methods brutal.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by means of the retention channels (2) being at the base of the teeth of the combs (1 and 8) of the curler, channels (2) designed to gently accommodate and hold the hair remember by their particular shape.

The invention, in addition to its simple, practical and effective character, presents also an advantage on the economic level: it allows a significant time savings since its autonomy does not require double handling; the curler (9) is complete in itself, without accessories or to retain the tips, nor to be fixed at the root.

It is made of modern material and can be obtained by injection, which which should guarantee a reasonable manufacturing cost.

  • The invention is described below in five different forms, three of which are illustrated by means of a drawing:
  • 1. Curler, according to figure 1, to be used by hand. Multi-comb curler consisting of an oblong body, comprising at least two combs, characterized in that at least one of the combs arranged around the body comprises teeth (1 and 8) pyramidal or conical, the vertices of which are distant from the body and at least once in their length a narrowing creating retention channels (2) of the hair.
  • 2. Curler-brush, according to FIG. 8, assembled to a handle (11) by means of a snap-on system (Fig. 4) The curler (9) is presented as the model described above, but, in addition, it is provided with a system (Fig. 2) allowing it to be snapped onto a handle (11) by means of flexible notched tongues (6), which transforms it into a brush. When the curler (9) is completely rolled up and fixed, it suffices, by means of the notch (12), to reactivate the flexibility of the tongues (6) in order to separate the handle (11) from the curler (9), leaving that -this on the head, the time necessary for the stabilization of the shaping of the hair. The handle (11) alone, deprived of this first curler (9), can then be fixed on a new curler (9), then on another, in order to continue the work of shaping the whole hair.
  • 3. Curler-brush, according to figure 8, used only as a brush. The invention, in the form described in point 2, can be used as a brush allowing conventional brushing to be shaped, with the advantage of allowing the retention of the hair at any stage of its winding. It can also be used for normal brushing of the hair, benefiting at the same time from the smoothing effect on the scales and the elimination of static electricity.
  • 4. Curler heated by means of an integrated heating body The invention can also be carried out with an integrated heating body, the fixing of the tips and of the roots obviously remaining the same.
  • 5. Curler heated on an external heating body. The invention can also be carried out with the possibility of attachment to an external heating body, according to the traditional principle of the heated curler, while retaining the advantages of the retention channels (2) fixing both the tips and the curler by avoiding it all other fixing devices provided on existing heated hair curler models.
