Definitions
- the present invention relates to a sports shoe, especially for a gliding board such as ski, surfing, or skating shoe, having on the one hand a rigid core constituting, in certain areas, the face interior of the shoe that receives a slipper, and on the other hand a flexible material envelope covering the rigid soul and constituting itself the inner face of the shoe in areas where the soul rigid is absent.
- Such sports shoes are known in the art prior art, for example in FR 2,191,653 and US 5,588,228.
- Patent FR 2,191,653 describes a ski boot which includes a rigid inner part and a part flexible outdoor.
- the rigid inner part of this shoe has the shape of a continuous shell intended for completely surround the skier's foot and the part exterior, resistant to wear and abrasion, is intended to protect the inner part of the shoe.
- US Patent 5,588,228 discloses a ski boot having a rigid core cut to form a rigid structure triangulated in two parts, of which one part forms the shell of the shoe and the other part the collar of the shoe.
- This rigid soul of the shoe is covered by a flexible envelope, the attachment between the soul and the flexible envelope is doing while injecting or by means mechanical.
- Rigid frames of the shoe constitute a triangulated rigid structure whose role is an optimal transmission of efforts between the leg and fixation.
- the rigid triangulated soul of the shell has the general shape of an inverted "Y", one of which branches are directed towards the front of the shoe, the other branch is directed towards the heel of the shoe and the foot of the "Y" is connected to the collar of the shoe. The efforts are thus distributed on the front of the shoe and on his heel, which are the places where the shoe is also attached to the skis in the case of a ski boot.
- the object of the present invention is to improve the sports shoes known in the state of the technical.
- the present invention more particularly aims to improve a shoe whose rigid soul is directly in contact with the slipper by increasing the efforts transmitted and by improving the accuracy of guide.
- the shoe according to the invention is a shoe with strong rigidity, typical competition, whose rigid soul is in direct contact with the slipper surrounding the foot of the user. It is characterized in that the rigid core comprises reinforcing means which does not are not covered by the flexible material envelope.
- the shoe according to the invention is distinguished from shoes of the prior art in that it comprises three different zones, namely a flexible zone, a rigid area and a rigid and reinforced area.
- the reinforcement means are placed at the places of the shoe transmitting significant effort and they form a general structure in guying improving back support and transmission of efforts side. Depending on their location on the shoe, the means of reinforcement can also have a protective effect of it.
- the means of reinforcement have reinforcement on the back collar and reinforcement on the back of the hull of the shoe.
- the means of reinforcement further include a band of diagonal reinforcement on at least one side of the shoe.
- the reinforcing tape is composed of two parts, one of which is located on the hull and the other on the collar of the shoe
- the means of reinforcement include a band of diagonal reinforcement on each side of the shoe.
- the shoe includes a reinforcement on at least one of the front sides the hull of the shoe forming a deflector of stakes.
- the means of reinforcement furthermore comprise a damping element of vibrations.
- the shoe is a monoblock type shoe.
- the flexible material envelope creates zones of articulation on the shoe.
- the invention also relates to a method of manufacture of a shoe. According to a first mode execution of the process, the rigid core and the envelope flexible material are manufactured separately and assembled by embedding the two parts.
- the soul rigid and the flexible material envelope are assembled by overmolding.
- the reinforcement means are not covered by the envelope of flexible material present, on the one hand, the advantage of not creating extra thickness of material on the shoe where they are placed and, on the other hand, to play the role of slalom protections.
- Such extra thicknesses can indeed, annoy the user by repeated friction of these means against each other, especially in the case of diagonal reinforcement strips placed on the inner side of the shoes.
- the flexible part can be damaged if it covers the reinforcement of the front of the shoe that serves stake deflector.
- This soul consists of a pierced shell 1 intended for support and transmit the efforts of the skier to the ski and a collar 2 articulated on the shell 1 and supporting the skier's ankle.
- the hull 1 further comprises two lateral reinforcements 4 and 9, a rear reinforcement 5 placed at the height of the heel, and two reinforcements before 3 and 8. Reinforcements before 3 and 8 are used especially as stake deflectors and protect the shell of the shoe during shocks against slalom stakes, for example.
- the reinforcements 4, 9 and the rear reinforcement 5 of the hull 1 are extended on the collar 2 by reinforcements corresponding ones 6, 10 and 7.
- the lateral reinforcements 4, 6, 9 and 10 form a diagonal band on each side of the shoe that increases the lateral rigidity of the shoe.
- Rear reinforcements 5 and 7 allow as for them to stiffen the support on the heel of the skier and they are extended by the sole of the shoe.
- the soul of the shoe shown in FIGS. 2 is the stiffest part of the shoe and the reinforcements form stay cables which, thanks to their tensile strength, improve the back support of the shoe.
- the position of these guys on the faces side of the shoe allows a good distribution efforts and increases the accuracy of guiding the shoe.
- the longitudinal forces are taken up mainly by the rear reinforcements 5, 7 and also by the lateral reinforcements 4, 6, 9, 10, and the lateral forces by lateral reinforcements 4 and 6 or 9 and 10.
- Figures 3 and 4 show two views of a shoe whose shell 1 and collar 2 are partially covered by the envelopes made of 11 and 12.
- the lateral reinforcements 4, 9, 6, 10 and backs 5, 7 are not covered by envelopes in flexible matter. They are therefore visible and are hatched on the figures.
- the flexible parts 11, 12 cover the top of the foot and the front of the leg of the user, parts of the shoe that do not have need to be as rigid as the rest of the shoe.
- the loops for closing the shoe are not not shown in the figures. These loops are from classic type and they are attached to the rigid part of the shoe.
- the shoe is made of materials usual, for example polyurethane with a hardness of 64 shD for the rigid part and 50 shD for the envelope of flexible material.
- the reinforcement means may be formed during the molding of the shell 1 and collar 2 by providing a thickness of material at the locations determined in the mold.
- the reinforcement means can also to be fixed after molding by fastening means mechanical, such as screws or other means equivalents.
- fastening means mechanical, such as screws or other means equivalents.
- reinforcements could be changed.
- various reinforcements side with different rigidities could be provided in such a way that the user of the shoe has the choice between several models and can change them or adjust them.
- vibration dampers on the means of enhancement.
- damping elements of vibration have been described in detail in the FR 2 patent 706,741 in the name of the applicant. They consist of mainly of a viscoelastic material associated with a rigid piece of constraint, the piece of constraint being attached to the reinforcement means by via the viscoelastic material.
- the rigid piece of stress has a modulus of elasticity E greater than 10 4 MPa and its material is selected from the group containing aluminum alloys or aluminum-zinc, magnesium, laminated thermosetting materials reinforced with fiberglass or of carbon and thermoplastic materials reinforced with fiberglass or carbon.
- the viscoelastic material is for example a butyl rubber or a synthetic elastomer, used alone, as a mixture or else loaded.
- the invention can also be applied to shoes single-block sports car in which the hull and the necklace form one piece.
- Means of reinforcement similar to those previously described can be provided on such mono-block shoes in order to constitute this particular structure in guy.
- the axis articulation between the shell and the collar is replaced by the flexible material envelope which creates articulation areas.
- the rigid core and the flexible material envelope are manufactured by conventional methods of the state of the such as injection or multi-injection.
- the rigid soul and the envelope in matter flexible are manufactured separately from one another and they are then assembled by embedding a part on the other.
- the rigid core and the flexible material envelope are assembled by overmolding.
