Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Bürstenkopf für eine Zahnbürste gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Anspruches 1.
Bürstenköpfe dieser Art sind in den verschiedensten Ausgestaltungen bekannt.
Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Bürstenkopf zu schaffen, der eine verbesserte Reinigung der Zähne und der Interdentalräume ermöglicht.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäss durch einen Bürstenkopf mit den Merkmalen des Anspruches 1 gelöst.
Dadurch, dass sowohl Querreihen mit zum Borstenträger im wesentlichen senkrecht stehenden Borstenbüscheln als auch mindestens ein Paar von Querreihen, die in Längsrichtung der Zahnbürste schräggestellte, sich gegenseitig kreuzende Borstenbündel umfassen, vorhanden ist, wird sowohl eine einwandfreie Reinigung der Zahnoberflächen, als auch ein besseres Eindringen in die Zahnzwischenräume erreicht.
Bevorzugte Weiterausgestaltungen des erfindungsgemässen Bürstenkopfes bilden den Gegenstand der abhängigen Ansprüche.
Aus der DE-A-44 12 301 ist eine Aufsteckzahnbürste für eine Elektrozahnbürste bekannt, deren Borstenträger über die ganze Länge mit Borstenbüscheln-Querreihen versehen ist, die in Längsrichtung geneigte Borstenbüschel aufweisen.
Dabei ist jeweils abwechselnd eine Querreihe mit in Längsrichtung nach vorne, andere Querreihe mit in Längsrichtung nach hinten geneigten Borstenbüscheln benachbart, wobei sich die Borstenbüschel der benachbarten Querreihen gegenseitig kreuzen. Der Borstenträger wird von einem Antriebsteil motorisch in Richtung einer zur zu putzenden Fläche etwa senkrechten Bewegungsachse in derart oszillierende Klopfbewegungen versetzt, dass die Borstenbüschel aufgrund ihrer Schrägstellung mit ihren Enden oszillierend über die zu putzende Fläche geschoben und zurückgezogen werden. Ausser den Klopfbewegungen können dem Borstenträger vom Antrieb noch weitere Putzbewegungen erteilt werden, z.B. eine um seine Längsachse oszillierende Teilrotation oder eine Hin- und Herbewegung in Längs und/oder Querrichtung.
Die Erfindung wird im folgenden anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert.

Fig. 1 bis 3 zeigen einen vorderen Teil einer Handzahnbürste 1, der mit einem Bürstenkopf 2 ausgestattet ist. Der Bürstenkopf 2 weist einen Borstenträger 3 auf, in welchem jeweils aus einer Mehrzahl von Borsten gebildete Borstenbüschel 4, 5, 6 verankert sind. Mit 4 sind diejenigen Borstenbüschel bezeichnet, die im wesentlichen senkrecht zum Borstenträger 3 gerichtet sind. Es sind ausserdem zum Borstenträger schräggestellte Borstenbüschel 5, 6 vorhanden, wobei die Borstenbüschel 5 in Längsrichtung der Zahnbürste nach hinten, die Borstenbüschel 6 hingegen nach vorne geneigt sind. Der Neigungswinkel dieser Borstenbüschel 5, 6 gegenüber der Senkrechten kann bis zu 45° betragen (in der Zeichnung ist ein kleinerer Neigungswinkel dargestellt). Die freistehenden Enden aller Borsten bilden eine gegebenenfalls ebene Bürstfläche 10 (Fig. 3). Die Längsachse der Zahnbürste 1 ist in Fig. 2 mit 7 bezeichnet.
Wie aus Fig. 2 ersichtlich sind die Borstenbüschel 4, 5, 6 nebeneinander in mehreren zur Längsrichtung der Zahnbürste rechtwinklig gerichteten Querreihen 14, 15, 16 angeordnet; gegebenenfalls sind drei Gruppen von je drei Querreihen 14 vorhanden, die durch die senkrecht zum Borstenträger 3 gerichteten Borstenbüschel 4 gebildet sind. Zwischen diesen Gruppen sind jeweils zwei Querreihen 15, 16 nebeneinander angeordnet, von denen die Querreihen 15 die nach hinten geneigten Borstenbüschel 5 enthalten, während in den Querreihen 16 die nach vorne geneigten Borstenbüschel 6 angeordnet sind, derart, dass sich die Borstenbüschel 5, 6 der benachbarten Querreihen 15, 16 gegenseitig kreuzen und paarweise ein X-förmige Anordnung bilden (vgl. insbesondere Fig. 1). Alle schräggestellten Borstenbüschel 5 bzw. 6 einer Querreihe 15 bzw. 16 weisen den gleichen Neigungswinkel auf. Der Neigungswinkel der Borstenbüschel 5 der einen Querreihe 15 eines Querreihenpaares 15, 16 gegenüber der Senkrechten gleicht dem negativen Neigungswinkel der Borstenbüschel 6 der anderen Querreihe 16, so dass ein in Längsrichtung symmetrisches X-Gebilde entsteht. Die beiden Querreihenpaare 15, 16 mit den sich kreuzenden, geneigten Borstenbüscheln 5, 6 sind in einem etwa einer durchschnittlichen Zahnbreite entsprechenden Abstand angeordnet.
Fig. 4 bis 6 zeigen eine weitere Variante einer mit einem Bürstenkopf 2a ausgestatteten Handzahnbürste 1a. Der Borstenträger, die aufrechtstehenden und geneigten Borstenbüschel sowie die entsprechenden Querreihen sind weiterhin mit den gleichen Bezugsziffern bezeichnet wie in Fig. 1 bis 3. Bei dieser Ausführungsform ist allerdings nur eine Gruppe von drei aus senkrecht zum Borstenträger 3 stehenden Borstenbüscheln 4 gebildeten Querreihen 14 vorhanden, die - in Längsrichtung der Zahnbürste gesehen - zwischen je zwei Paaren von Querreihen 15, 16 angeordnet ist, die mit schrägstehenden, sich paarweise kreuzenden Borstenbüscheln 5, 6 versehen sind. Auch bei dieser Variante bilden die freistehenden Borstenenden eine ebene Bürstfläche 10 (Fig. 6).
Eine in Fig. 7 bis 9 dargestellte dritte Ausführungsform einer Handzahnbürste 1b mit einem Bürstenkopf 2b entspricht im wesentlichen der ersten Variante nach Fig. 1 bis 3; die Querreihen 14 weisen die gleiche Anzahl von Borstenbüscheln, aber die äussersten seitlichen Aussenbüschel 18, 19 jeder Querreihe 14 sind in Querrichtung der Zahnbürste nach aussen geneigt (Fig. 8 und 9). Auch den mit den in Längsrichtung geneigten Borstenbüscheln 5, 6 versehenen, mit der mittleren Gruppe von Querreihen 14 benachbarten Querreihen 15, 16 ist seitlich je ein Aussenbüschel 20, 21 bzw. 22, 23 zugeordnet, das jeweils sowohl in Längsrichtung, als auch in Querrichtung der Zahnbürste 1b nach aussen schräggestellt ist (vgl. Fig. 8). Die Aussenbüschel 18, 20, 22 bzw. 19, 21, 23 bilden auf diese Weise je eine seitliche Längsreihe 26, 27 von in Querrichtung nach aussen schräg abstehenden Borstenbüscheln. Die durch alle Borstenbüschelenden gebildete Bürstfläche 10 ist wiederum eben ausgestaltet (Fig. 9).
In Fig. 10 bis 12 ist eine vierte Variante einer Handzahnbürste 1c mit einem Bürstenkopf 2c dargestellt, der eine Gruppe von vier und zwei Gruppen von zwei Querreihen 14 mit senkrecht zum Borstenträger 3 stehenden Borstenbüscheln 4 aufweist, zwischen denen jewils zwei Querreihen 15, 16 mit den zum Borstenträger 3 in Längsrichtung geneigten, sich paarweise kreuzenden Borstenbüscheln 5, 6 angeordnet sind. Bei dieser Variante überragen die schräggestellten Borstenbüschel 5, 6 in der Höhe die meisten der aufrechtstehenden Borstenbüschel 4; aber auch die vordere Gruppe von senkrecht zum Borstenträger 3 stehenden Borstenbüschel 4 weist unterschiedlich lange Borstenbüschel 4 auf, so dass im vorderen Bereich des Bürstenkopfes 2c ein in Längsrichtung geneigter, dem vorderen Ende des Bürstenkopfes 2c hinzu sich erhebender Bürstflächenteil 29 gebildet wird (Fig. 10).
Selbstverständlich könnte ein derartig geneigter Bürstflächenteil 29 auch den anderen vorstehend beschriebenen Ausführungsformen zugeordnet sein. Diese Ausführungsformen könnten aber auch mit in der Höhe die aufrechtstehenden Borstenbüschel 4 überragenden geneigten Borstenbüscheln 5, 6 ausgestattet sein.
Bei allen vorstehend beschriebenen Ausführungsformen von Zahnbürsten 1, la, 1b und 1c sorgen beim Zahnreinigungsvorgang die senkrecht zum Borstenträger 3 stehenden Borstenbüschel 4 vor allem für die Reinigung von Zahnflächen. Mit den in Längsrichtung der Zahnbürste schräggestellten Borstenbüscheln 5, 6 werden die Zahnzwischenräume besser erreicht und der Zahnfleischsaum (d.h. der Bereich des Überganges Zähne/Zahnfleisch) wirkungsvoller behandelt. Beim Zahnreinigungsvorgang, d.h. bei der Hin- und Herbewegung der Zahnbürste in Längsrichtung kommen dabei bei Bewegung in einer Richtung die nach hinten geneigten Borstenbüschel 5 der Querreihen 15, bei der Bewegung in der anderen Richtung die anderen, nach vorne geneigten Borstenbüschel 6 der Querreihen 16 zur Wirkung, nämlich zum besseren Eindringen in die schwer erreichbaren Interdentalräume. Während diese in einer Richtung geneigten und in der einen Bewegungsrichtung wirksamen Borstenbüschel 5 bzw. 6 an den Zähnen anstossen und in die Interdentalräume gedrängt werden, werden die anders geneigten Borstenbüschel 6 bzw. 5 über die Zahnoberflächen geschleppt und üben eine Wischwirkung aus. In der anderen Bewegungsrichtung werden die Rollen der Borstenbüschel 5,6 getauscht. Durch diese in beiden Bewegungsrichtungen stattfindende Stoss-/Schleppwirkung der in Längsrichtung der Zahnbürste symmetrisch angeordneten, schrägstehenden Borstenbüschelreihen 15, 16 mit sich paarweise kreuzenden Borstenbüscheln 5, 6 wird eine doppelte Reinigungswirkung erreicht und eine hervorragende Massage des Zahnfleisches bewirkt. Die eine bessere Durchblutung des Gewebes bewirkende Massage hat eine positive Auswirkung auf die Gesunderhaltung des Zahnfleischsaumes.
Durch das Hervorstehen der der in Längsrichtung geneigten, sich kreuzenden Borstenbüscheln 5, 6 gegenüber den aufrechtstehenden Borstenbüscheln 4 (vgl. als Beispiel die vierte Variante gemäss Fig. 10 bis 12) wird der Effekt des Eindringens in die Zahnzwischenräume zusätzlich verstärkt.
Die Neigung der Bürstfläche im vorderen Bereich 29 (Fig. 10) bewirkt eine bessere Anpassung an die Gebiss- und Zahnform.
Durch die Anordnung von Aussen-Längsreihen 26, 27 mit in Querrichtung nach aussen abstehenden Aussenbüscheln 18, 20, 22 bzw. 19, 21, 23 gemäss Fig. 7 bis 9 wird der Zahnfleischsaum (d.h. der Bereich des Überganges Zähne/Zahnfleisch) besser erreicht und der Massageeffekt des erfindungsgemässen Bürstenkopfes 2b zusätzlich verstärkt.
Es wären selbstverständlich auch verschiedene andere Anordnungskombinationen mit einer anderen Borstenbüschelanzahl pro Querreihe 14, 15, 16 als dargestellt, mit einer anderen Anzahl von Querreihen 14 mit senkrecht zum Borstenträger 3 stehenden Borstenbüscheln 4 und mit einer anderen Anzahl von Querreihenpaaren 15, 16 mit den geneigten Borstenbüscheln 5, 6 möglich, als vorstehend beschrieben und dargestellt.
Gemäss der Zeichnung bilden die erfindungsgemässen Bürstenköpfe 2, 2a, 2b, 2c einen festen Teil der jeweiligen Handzahnbürste 1, 1a, 1b, 1c. Sie könnten jedoch auch einen Teil einer auf einen Handgriff einer Elektrozahnbürste aufsetzbaren Aufsteck-Zahnbürste bilden. In beiden Fällen könnte auch der Borstenträger lösbar am entsprechenden Halteteil angeordnet sein.

Claims (8)

  1. Bürstenkopf für eine Zahnbürste, insbesondere eine Handzahnbürste, mit einem Borstenträger (3) und in diesem verankerten und von diesen abstehenden Borstenbüscheln (4, 5, 6), die nebeneinander in mehreren rechtwinklig zur Längsachse (7) der Zahnbürste angeordneten Querreihen (14, 15, 16) angeordnet sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in Längsrichtung des Bürstenkopfes mindestens eine Gruppe von aus im wesentlichen senkrecht zum Borstenträger (3) stehenden Borstenbüscheln (4) gebildeten Querreihen (14) sowie mindestens ein Paar von aus zum Borstenträger (3) in Längsrichtung des Bürstenkopfes geneigten Borstenbüscheln (5, 6) gebildeten Querreihen (15, 16) nebeneinander angeordnet sind, wobei die in Längsrichtung geneigten Borstenbüschel (6) der einen dieser Querreihen (16) nach vorne und die Borstenbüschel(5) der anderen dieser Querreihen (15) nach hinten schräggestellt sind, derart, dass sich die Borstenbüschel (5, 6) dieser beiden Querreihen (15, 16) gegenseitig kreuzen und paarweise eine X-förmige Anordnung bilden.
  2. Bürstenkopf nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Neigungswinkel aller in Längsrichtung geneigten Borstenbüschel (5 bzw. 6) einer Querreihe (15, 16) gleich ist.
  3. Bürstenkopf nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Neigungswinkel der Borstenbüschel (5, 6) der beiden Querreihen (15, 16) eines Querreihenpaares gegenüber der Senkrechten gleich sind.
  4. Bürstenkopf nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass freistehende Enden aller Borstenbüschel (4, 5, 6) in einer Ebene liegen.
  5. Bürstenkopf nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass freistehende Enden der in Längsrichtung geneigten Borstenbüschel (5 bzw. 6) eine durch die freien Enden der im wesentlichen senkrecht zum Borstenträger (3) gerichteten Borstenbüschel (4) bestimmte Ebene überragen.
  6. Bürstenkopf nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass freistehende Enden der im vorderen Bereich des Bürstenkopfes (2c) angeordneten Borstenbüschel (4) einen in Längsrichtung geneigten, sich zum vorderen Ende des Bürstenkopfes (2c) hin erhebenden Bürstflächenteil (29) bilden.
  7. Bürstenkopf nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass seitlich der in Querreihen (14, 15, 16) angeordneten Borstenbüschel (4, 5, 6) je eine Aussen-Längsreihe (26, 27) von Aussenbüscheln (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23) angeordnet ist, die eine Neigung in Querrichtung aufweisen und nach aussen schräg abstehen.
  8. Bürstenkopf nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwei Paare von aus zum Borstenträger (3) in Längsrichtung geneigten Borstenbüscheln (5, 6) gebildeten Querreihen (15, 16) in einem etwa einer Zahnbreite entsprechendem Abstand angeordnet sind.
