Ferner ist aus US-A-1885681 bekannt, als Steifmittel für den Kolbenschaft umlaufende Rippen anzuordnen.
Claims (4)
- Leichtmetallkolben (1) für Verbrennungsmotoren, bestehend aus einem den Kolbenboden (2) und die Kolbenringnutenpartie (3) aufnehmenden Kolbenkopf und einem daran einstückig angeformten Kolbenschaft (4),
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Wanddicke des Kolbenschaftes (4) im Bereich der Druck-(6) und/oder Gegendruckseite (9) von der Schaftunterkante (7) bzw. der Oberkante eines am unteren Schaftende innen umlaufenden Bundes her über die Schafthöhe im wesentlichen kontinuierlich abnimmt, wobei die Schaftinnenkontur (8) im wesentlichen konisch verläuft. - Leichtmetallkolben nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Wanddicke des Kolbenschaftes (4) im Bereich der Druck-(6) und/oder Gegendruckseite (9) von der in Kolbenlängsrichtung liegenden, durch die Druck-Gegendruckseite gehenden Mittelebene ausgehend in Umfangsrichtung nach beiden Seiten hin abnimmt. - Leichtmetallkolben nach Anspruch 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Länge (L) der von der Mittelebene in Umfangsrichtung ausgehend abnehmenden Wanddicke von der Schaftunterkante (7) bzw. der Oberkante eines am unteren Schaftende innen umlaufenden Bundes her über die Schafthöhe kontinuierlich abnimmt. - Leichtmetallkolben nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Verdickung (10) im Bereich der Druck-(6) und/oder Gegendruckseite (9) allseitig kontinuierlich in den Kolbenschaft (4) übergeht.
