Ein auf einem Ladehilfsmittel, vorzugsweise eine Palette, abgestelltes, einzulagerndes Fahrzeug wird dabei von einem in den Gängen bzw. Lagergassen zwischen den Parkfächern hin und her verfahrbaren Regalbediengerät bzw. Verteilgerät ubernommen und zum Lagerplatz bzw. Parkfach sowie bei Parkende zur Auslagerungsstation transportiert. Hierbei ist es möglich, die Einlagerungsstation gleichzeitig auch zur Auslagerung zu benutzen. Die Rückführung von Palette und Fahrzeug, nachdem der Parkhaus-Benutzer seinen Zwischenzugriff beendet hat, geschieht in umgekehrtem Ablauf, d.h. auf Abruf über den Parkautomaten fährt ein freies Regalbediengerät bzw. Verteilfahrzeug den Sonderstellplatz an und tranportiert die Palette mit dem Fahrzeug zurück in ein freies Fach. Sobald dieser beendet ist und der Parkhaus-Benutzer den Sonderstellplatz 7 wieder verlassen hat, kann er über einen der Parkautomaten mit Hilfe des Parkscheins den Rücktransport seines Fahrzeugs 3 in einen freien Parkplatz 2 der Parkeinrichtung 1 veranlassen.
