Claims (6)
- Loom for producing a single-width or multi-width fabric having at least one tucked-in selvage, comprisinga) a cutting apparatus (23; 23a; 23b) having a fixed blade (15) and a movable blade (16) which cuts off a weft thread that is inserted into a first shed (5) and that is beat-up by a weaving reed (6) against the beat-up edge of a fabric (9, 9a), from a weft thread that is held in readiness, in such a manner that a free weft thread end is produced,b) a tucked-in device (14; 14a; 14b; 14c) which collects the free end of the weft thread and tucked-in it into another shed which is associated with the first shed (5),c) an expander tabel (11) which extends on the fabric side over the width of the loom,d) at least one fabric expander (10, 26) which can be received in the expander table (11),e) at least one component (13) which is fixed to the machine, which is arranged parallel with the expander table (11) and which extends over the width of the loom, andf) a means which can be displaced and stopped in translation on the component (13) transversely to the weaving direction and which has weft thread shears (23; 23a; 23b) and the tucked-in device (14; 14a; 14b; 14c), characterised in thatg) the means comprises at least a first carrier (24), on which the cutting device (23; 23a; 23b) and the tucked-in device (14; 14a; 14b; 14c) are arranged to engage over the expander table (11) in the direction of the weaving reed (6) in such a manner that the blades (15, 16) can be positioned together with the tucked-in device, in known manner, in the region of the formation of the tucked-in selvage,h) the tucked-in device is a pneumatically acting tucked-in device andi) the tucked-in device (14; 14a; 14b; 14c) can be adjusted relative to the blades (15, 16) of the cutting apparatus (23; 23a; 23b) by adjusting means (30).
- Loom according to claim 1, characterised in that the tucked-in device (14; 14a; 14b; 14c) is attached to the fixed blade (15) of the cutting apparatus (23; 23a; 23b).
- Loom for producing a single-width or multi-width fabric having at least one tucked-in selvage, comprisinga) a cutting apparatus (23; 23a; 23b) having a fixed blade (15) and a moveable blade (16) which cuts off a weft thread that is inserted into a first shed (5) and that is beat-up by a weaving reed (6) against the beat-up edge of a fabric (9, 9a), from a weft thread that is held in readiness, in such a manner that a free weft thread end is produced,b) a tucked-in device (14; 14a; 14b, 14c) which collects the free end of the weft thread and tucked-in it into another shed which is associated with the first shed (5),c) an expander table (11) which extends over the width of the loom,d) at least one fabric expander (10, 26) which can be received in the expander table (11),e) at least one component (13) which is fixed to the machine, which is arranged parallel with the expander table (11) and which extends over the width of the loom, andf) a means, which can be displaced and stopped in translation on the component (13) transversely to the weaving direction and which has weft thread shears (23; 23a; 23b) and the tucked-in device (14; 14a; 14b, 14c), characterised in thatg) the means comprises a first carrier (24), on which the cutting device (23; 23a; 23b) is arranged to engage over the expander table (11) in the direction of the weaving reed (6), and the means comprises a second carrier (25), which engages under the expander table (11) and on which the tucked-in device (14; 14a; 14b, 14c) is arranged,h) the tucked-in device is a pneumatically acting tucked-in device,i) the carriers (24, 25) are arranged displaceably on the component (13) independently of each other andj) the tucked-in device (14; 14a; 14b, 14c) can be adjusted relative to the blades (15, 16) of the cutting apparatus (23; 23a; 23b) by adjusting means (30).
- Loom according to claims 1 and 3, characterised in that the expander tabel (11) is formed as one piece.
- Loom according to claims 1 and 3, characterised in that the expander tabel (11) without a projection (11a) beyond the weaving width comprises individual portions when the invention is used on gripper looms.
- Loom according to claims 1 and 3, characterised in that a cutting apparatus (23) is operatively connected to a right-hand and a left-hand insertion element (14b, 14c) between the adjacent edges of the fabric passages (9, 9b) in the production of multi-width fabrics.
