Claims (8)
- Verfahren zur Vorhangbeschichtung eines bewegten Trägers mit einem flüssigen Beschichtungsmaterial, insbesondere photographische Emulsionen, wobei in Laufrichtung des Trägers gesehen, die vom bewegten Träger mitgeführte Luft vor dem Vorhang abgesaugt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Absaugung durch einen Schlitz (17) erfolgt, der sich über die volle Länge des Rakels erstreckt und dessen Mündung sich unmittelbar hinter der Vorderkante des Rakels befindet.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass, in Laufrichtung des Trägers (5) gesehen, dem durch die Unterseite (9) der Giesserlippe (2), den Seitenbegrenzungen (6), dem bewegten Träger (5) und der Vorderfront (8) der Absaugvorrichtung gebildete Raum (10) vor dem Giessvorhang von der Giesserlippe her kontrolliert Luft stetig zugeführt und beim Träger abgesaugt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zugeführte Luft vorgewärmt ist.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zu- und abgeführte Luftmenge gesteuert wird, um den Ort der dynamischen Benetzungslinie des Vorhanges auf dem Träger einzustellen.
- Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens nach Anspruch 1 mit einem Giesser (1) mit Giesserlippe (2) und einer Giesswalze (4) zur Führung eines Trägers (5), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Vorrichtung eine vor dem Vorhang (3) angeordnete Absaugvorrichtung aufweist, die einen Saugrakel (7) enthält, dessen zum Vorhang (3) gerichtete Vorderkante einen sich über die Breite des Trägers erstreckenden Schlitz (17) aufweist, der mit einer Unterdruckanlage verbunden ist, wobei die Mündung des Schlitzes (17) nahe der Oberfläche des Trägers (5) und der dynamischen Benetzungslinie (26) des Vorhanges (3) angeordnet ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Abstand a der Mündung des Schlitzes (17) zur Oberfläche des Trägers auf der Giesswalze 0,1 - 1,0 mm, vorzugsweise 0,1 - 0,5 mm und der Abstand b der Mündung des Schlitzes (17) zur dynamischen Benetzungslinie (26) 5 - 30 mm, vorzugsweise 10 - 20 mm beträgt.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5 zur Durchführung des Verfahrens nach Anspruch 1, mit einem aus der Giesserplatte (21) gebildeten Giesser (1) mit Giesserlippe (2) und einer Giesswalze (4) zur Führung eines Trägers (5), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei der vordersten Giesserplatte (21), unterhalb der Giesserlippe (2) eine parallel zum Vorhang (3) angeordnete Oeffnung (22) vorhanden ist, die mit einer Luftzufuhreinrichtung verbunden ist,
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Oeffnung (22) durch einen Spalt zwischen der dem Vorhang abgewandten hinteren Fläche (15) des Saugrakels (7) und der Vorderseite der vordersten Giesserplatte (21) gebildet wird.
