Claims (7)

  1. Matrizenpaar für die Ausrüstung einer Presse zum Reduzieren und/oder Crimpen eines metallischen Rohrstücks, wobei die Matrizen (2, 2') jeweils eine muldenartige Vertiefung (6, 6') aufweisen, die einen Teil eines Kreiszylinders bildet, der seitlich an jedem Rand durch eine gezahnte Fläche (7a, 7b) zur Verbindung der Matrizen verlängert ist derart, daß bei einer durch die Presse bewirkten gegenseitigen translatorischen Annäherung der Matrizen (2, 2') die besagten Flächen dazu bestimmt sind, sich miteinander zu verzahnen, während die Abmessungen der Vertiefungen und der gezahnten Flächen (7a, 7b) derart sind, daß die vollständig miteinander verzahnten beiden Matrizen eine innere Oberfläche bilden, die allgemein im wesentlichen kreiszylinderförmig ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die gezahnten Flächen (7a, 7b) jeder Matrize jeweils eine Vielzahl von Zähnen und Zwischenräumen bilden und die muldenartige Vertiefung (6) in ihrer im wesentlichen tangentialen Richtung verlängern, wobei die Ebenen, welche die Innenflächen der besagten Zähne einer Matrize enthalten, sich mit den entsprechenden Ebenen der anderen Matrize unter Bildung von Flächenwinkeln schneiden.
  2. Matrizenpaar nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abmessungen der Zähne jeder Matrize identisch sind, während die Mittelachse (11, 11') des zylindrischen Teils oder der Vertiefung (6, 6') jeder Matrize durch die Schnittlinie der Längsebene (10) der Matrize mit der Teilungsebene (9) auf halber Höhe der Zähne der besagten Matrize derart festgelegt ist, daß die durch die Matrizen gebildete, im wesentlichen kreiszylinderförmige Oberfläche erhalten wird, wenn die Zähne der einen Matrize bis auf den Grund der Zwischenräume der anderen Matrize eingreifen.
  3. Matrizenpaar nach einem der Ansprüche 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die beiden Matrizen (2, 2') identisch sind und daß ihre gezahnten Flächen (7a, 7b) durch eine Aufeinanderfolge von Zähnen und Zwischenräumen mit gleichen Abmessungen gebildet und an einer Seite durch einen Zahn (8a, 8b) und an der anderen Seite durch eine Vertiefung (8'a, 8'b) derart begrenzt sind, daß die beiden Matrizen (2, 2') dazu bestimmt sind sich einander gegenüberzuliegen, aber derart gegeneinander versetzt, daß die Zähne der einen auf die Zwischenräume der anderen ausgerichtet sind.
  4. Matrizenpaar nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Zähne leicht abgeschrägt oder abgerundet sind.
  5. Matrizenpaar nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Grund jedes Zwischenraums an seiner Innenkante leicht abgeschrägt oder abgerundet (R) ist.
  6. Handbetätigte hydraulische Presse mit einem Matrizenpaar (2, 2') nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, das in einem Kopfstück (1) montiert ist, wobei eine der Matrizen (2') fest angeordnet ist, während die andere Matrize (2) beweglich montiert ist und durch den Hydraulikzylinder der besagten Presse beansprucht wird.
  7. Verwendung eines Matrizenpaars nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6 zum Crimpen eines zylindrischen Ringes (15) durch Kaltreduzieren auf einem Rohr (12), in welchem ein Kuppel- oder Ansatzstück (13) angeordnet ist, das an seinem Umfang mit Unebenheiten versehen ist.
