Das Schließblech (gem. der beispielhaften Figur 1) ist langgestreckt und profiliert ausgebildet und zwar so, daß es in eine übliche Profilnut des Blendrahmens im Bereich des Flügelfalzes eingesetzt werden kann. Zu diesem Zweck weist das Schließblech 1 auf seiner einen Längsseite eine Eingriffsnut 3 für den einen Begrenzungsflansch der Profilnut 26 und auf der anderen Seite eine Flanschauflage 2 auf. Auf seiner Länge weist das Schließblech eine Längsvertiefung 5 auf, an deren Boden Öffnungen 4 zum Anbringen von Befestigungsschrauben vorgesehen sind, mit deren Hilfe das Schließblech am Grund der Profilnut 26 angeschraubt werden kann. Im Bereich des einen Endes steigt der Boden der Längsvertiefung 5 über einer Auflauframpe 8 auf eine höherliegende ebene Fläche 9 an, die im Einbauzustand des Schließbleches gemäß Figur 4 oberhalb der oberen Begrenzungsfläche der Profilnut liegt. Über den Flächenbereich 9 und über den an die Auflauframpe 8 angrenzenden Bereich der Vertiefung 5 ist auf der Außenseite des Schließbleches eine Auflaufschräge 7 für die entsprechende Auflaufschräge 24a des Schnäppers 24 vorgesehen. Über den restlichen Teil der Länge der Vertiefung 5 ist der Rand der Vertiefung 5 über einen Steg 6 erhöht. An den beiden Stirnenden des Schließbleches 1 erstrecken sich in Richtung des Flügelfalzes horizontale Vorsprünge 10 und 11. Diese dienen als Aushebesicherung. Sie liegen, wie aus den Figuren hervorgeht, im Abstand oberhalb der Oberseite der Profilnut 26 des Blendrahmens 20, so daß ein entsprechender Gegenanschlag 16 des Flügelrahmens in der Schließstellung des Flügels bzw. in der Kippstellung des Flügels unter die Riegelvorsprünge 10, 11 greifen kann, wodurch ein Anheben und damit ein Ausheben des Flügels in der Kippstellung und der Schließstellung ausgeschlossen wird.The striking plate (in accordance with the exemplary FIG. 1 ) is elongated and profiled in such a way that it can be inserted into a conventional profile groove in the frame in the area of the sash rebate. Deren Flanken können unterschiedlich geneigt sein, wie dies bei 5a und 5b in Figur 3 gezeigt ist. Es ist ersichtlich, daß in der eingerasteten Stellung der Schnäpper bis unter die Ebene 25 greift, welche der Oberfläche der Profilnut 26 und damit der am weitesten in den Falz ragenden Fläche des Blendrahmens 20 entspricht. Aus der Riegelstellung oder der Kippstellung kann der Flügel in die Parallelabstellstellung gelangen, indem die Betätigungsstange 23 mit dem Schnäpper in den Bereich C des Schließbleches nach Figur 1 überführt wird. Hierbei läuft der Schnäpper auf die Auflauframpe 8 auf und gelangt auf die Fläche 9. Claims (9)

  1. A closure device comprising a combination of a striking plate (1), an actuating rod (22) and a spring-loaded catch (24) for attaching in the rebate region of a lower horizontal member of a fixed window-frame or door-frame, the upright or orthoganally projecting catch (24), which can be resiliently pushed back, being disposed on the actuating rod (22), which is longitudinally movable into one out of a number of positions (A, B, C) relative to the striking plate (1),
    (a) the striking plate (24), when in a first or a second position (A, B) corresponding in the installed state to a closing or tilted position of a leaf (21), co-operates with the striking plate (1) in a manner which prevents lateral motion at right angles to the direction of the actuating rod (22) or can snap into the striking plate (1) out of the position at the side thereof, the said side position corresponding to parallel sidetracking of the leaf in the installed state;
    characterised in that
    (b) the striking plate (1) which is insertable into a profiled groove (26) in the lower fixed-frame member, has an engagement recess (5) for the striking plate (24), the recess extending over the first position (A) and the second position (B), and the recess (5) adjoins a run-up slope (8) for the catch (24), the slope rising in its longitudinal direction towards the surface (9) of the striking plate (1) and leading to a third catch position (C) from which the catch (24) can slide sideways away from the striking plate (1).
  2. A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the striking plate (1), in the region of the first catch position (A), has a locking web (6) which, in the installed position, projects into the rebate region in the direction away from the profiled groove (26) in the fixed frame (20), the web (6) being for a casing (23) which extends in the same direction and movably receives the catch (24).
  3. A device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the striking plate (1) has a sliding surface (9) for the catch (24), the surface (9) adjoining the run-up slope (8) and covering the profiled groove (26) in the fixed frame (20) and being disposed in the region of the third position (C), out of which the catch (24) and the actuating rod (22) are movable sideways alongside the striking plate (1).
  4. A device according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the striking plate (1) has locking portions (10, 11) which co-operate with and secure the leaf (21) in the first or second position (A, B).
  5. A device according to claim 4, characterised in that the locking portions are bolt projections (10, 11) which extend from the ends of the striking plate (1) in the direction of the actuating rod (22) and, in the assembled state, are disposed at a distance from an outer plane (25) of the profiled groove (26) in the fixed frame (20).
  6. A device according to claim 1 or claims 3 to 5, characterised in that the engagement recess (35) in the striking plate (32) extends only over a range of movement of the catch (24) corresponding to the second position (B).
  7. A device according to claim 6, characterised in that the striking plate (32) is substantially symmetrical relative to the plane (34) through the centre of the engagement recess (35) and extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the striking plate.
  8. A device according to claim 1 which, in the installed position, is so circumscribed between the fixed frame (20) and the leaf (21) that
    (a) the striking plate (1, 32) is recessed into the groove (26) in the profile of the lower fixed-frame member so that it takes up only a little space in the gap between the leaf and the fixed frame (20, 21), and
    (b) the engagement recess (5, 35) extends under the outer surface of the profile of the groove (26).
  9. A window or door comprising a leaf (21) which can be tilted or moved parallel and sideways or moved into the plane of the window or the door and also comprises a fixed frame (20) and a closing device disposed thereon according to any of the preceding claims, the spring-loaded catch (24) and the actuating rod (22) being disposed on the leaf and the striking plate (1) being disposed on the fixed frame.
