Dieser Stützrand verläuft bei in den Kühl- oder Gefrierschrank eingeschobener Abstellplatte parallel zur Rückwand eines betreffenden Innenbehälters, wobei in parallel zueinander laufenden senkrechten Seitenwänden des Innenbehälters U-förmige Führungsnuten eingeformt sind. In sich gegenüberstehende Führungsnuten greifen dabei parallel zueinander und senkrecht zum Stützrand verlaufende Seitenränder der Abstellplatte verschiebbar ein. Der Stützrand erstreckt sich dabei nur über die Länge der betreffenden Seitenkante, die der lichten Weite zwischen den sich gegenüberliegenden U-förmigen Führungsnuten entspricht. Bei einer Ausgestaltung eines Kühl- oder Gefrierschranks gemäß der Erfindung kann für die Abstellplatte, die insbesondere aus einer bruchsicheren Glasscheibe herzustellen ist, eine dünne Materialscheibe ohne Eckausschnitte verwendet werden, so daß beim Umbiegen der rückwärtigen Seitenkante der dadurch gebildete Stützrand in die Führungsnuten eines Innenbehälters reicht. Bei einer lichten Höhe der Führungsnuten von beispielsweise etwa 15 mm und einer Materialstärke der Abstellplatte im Bereich ihrer Seitenränder von etwa 4 mm kann somit ein Stützrand mit einer Höhe bis zu 10 mm ausgebildet werden. Diese Höhe reicht jedenfalls aus, um auf die Abstellplatte aufgeschobene Güter am Abrutschen über die rückwärtige Seitenkante zu hindern. Da die rückwärtige Seitenkante zudem mit Abstand von der Rückwand des Innenbehälters bzw. einem dort angeordneten Verdampfer gehalten wird, kann zu kühlendes Gut nicht bis an den Verdampfer herangeschoben werden und dort festfrieren bzw. unterkühlt werden. Claims (3)

  1.   2. Refrigerator or freezer according to claim 1, characterised in that the support edge (8) has a constant height over its entire length.
  3. Refrigerator or freezer according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the tray has the same structures on the upper face and on the lower face.
