Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for deburring foundry cores and similar workpieces, with a vibration device, a fixed base supporting the vibration device and a deburring template according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- the teaching of the invention is based on the task of designing the known device for deburring foundry cores and similar workpieces and to further develop that an effective deburring without pulses caused by hammering with reduced tool wear are achieved with simple technical means.
- the device according to the invention in which the above-mentioned object is achieved, is characterized in that the vibration movement of the vibration device takes place exclusively in the vertical direction and that there is no play between the contours of the core to be deburred and the contours of the deburring template, so that the burr is cut off when the core is passed through the deburring template.
- the vibrating device is designed in such a way that the vibrating movement of the vibrating device takes place exclusively in the vertical direction.
- the edge of the deburring template therefore acts like a cutting tool that cuts the burr off the core in the course of the vibration movement.
- the oscillation width of the vibration device is preferably infinitely variable.
- the deburring template can be adjusted in two axial directions by means of adjusting screws. This prevents namely that not only the ridge but also the outer area of the core is cut or scraped off.
- the vibration device has a vibration part with a magnetic oscillator. Furthermore, an oscillating plate with buffers is provided, the buffers serving to dampen the oscillating movement. In order to effectively prevent lateral deflection of the oscillating plate, the vibrating device or the oscillating plate is provided with a leaf spring which only allows the oscillating movement in the vertical direction.
- deburring templates can also be advantageously provided for simultaneous deburring of several cores, which significantly increases the throughput, particularly in the case of automatic operation.
- a handling device with elastic grippers that interacts with the vibration device is provided.
- This handling device is used for the automatic execution of the operations from the removal of ejected cores from a core sleeve through the insertion of the cores into the deburring template and on to the further transport of the cores for further handling.
- automatic manipulations are possible, the elasticity of the grippers preventing damage to the foundry cores or the like.
- a guide is Vorc / e Image, acting between the handling device and the base supporting the vibration device.
- Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of an embodiment of an inventive device for deburring foundry cores
- the device for deburring foundry cores 3 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has a handling device 1 with elastic grippers 2 for receiving the foundry cores 3.
- the foundry cores 3 are automatically removed from a core sleeve (not shown in the figures) by means of the handling device 1 and guided over the deburring device having a deburring template 4.
- a vibrating part with a magnetic oscillator 8, an oscillating plate 5, with buffers 6 and with leaf springs 7 is provided on a fixed substructure 10.
- the deburring template 4 is also assigned to the substructure 10.
- the handling device 1 When the core 3 is passed through the deburring template 4, the handling device 1 is guided without play in the fixed part or in the substructure 10, so that the burr on the deburring is virtually cut off.
- a guide 9 acts between the base 10 and the handling device 1.

Abstract
A device for deburring foundry cores (3) and similar parts, comprising a vibrating device, a fixed infrastructure (10) supporting the vibrating device and a deburring jig (4), is constituted, to ensure deburring effective with less risk of damage to the part and less wear to the tool, so that the vibrating movement of the vibrating device takes place only in the vertical direction and that there is no play between the contours of the core (3) to be trimmed and those of the trimming template (4), so that the burrs are cut when the core (3) is passed through the trimming template (4).
