Definitions
- the invention relates to a patient surface, the foot part is adjustable in height independently of the back and seat part and can be completely inserted under the back and seat part in every lowered position of the seat and back part.
- the foot section must be removed during the birth process so that midwife and doctor have free access to the parturient.
- the lying surface of the delivery bed should allow the woman giving birth to rest and comfort. To do this, the foot section must form a flat surface together with the back and seat sections.
- Childbirth beds are known so far in which the foot section can be moved independently and is completely removed and moved away from the rest of the bed section. Such a solution is complex since both bed parts require their own height drives. In addition, the removed foot section requires additional space in the delivery room.
- the foot part is attached to the back and seat part in such a way that it can be swung back or pushed under these parts.
- GB-A-534 921 describes a patient lying surface, the foot part of which can be inserted under the back and seat part.
- the object of the invention is to provide a patient bed surface, the foot part of which is height-adjustable independently of the back and seat part and can be inserted under these parts in the lowered position at any height position of the back and seat part.
- Two symmetrically arranged scissors are provided.
- the lower ends of the scissor legs are articulated to longitudinal guides on the non-height-adjustable chassis of the patient bed surface and the upper ends of these scissor legs support the protruding end of the footrest part in the longitudinal guides provided there.
- the lower ends of the other scissor legs are supported on the floor via castors, both in the lowered and retracted position and in the extended state to complete the lying surface.
- the upper ends of these scissor legs are only pivotally but not slidably articulated on the bed surface foot part, and this is coupled with the height-adjustable part of the patient bed surface to complete the bed surface.
- the patient bed surface consists of a back part 6, a seat part 7 and a foot part 17.
- Seat part 7 and back part 6 are connected to the chassis 1 of the patient bed surface via a height adjustment device 5.
- the back part is articulated via a pivot point on the height adjustment device 5 and can be pivoted about this pivot point by means of an adjustment device 8.
- the seat part 7 is also articulated to the height adjustment device 5 via a pivot point and can also be pivoted via an adjustment device (not shown in more detail).
- a longitudinal guide 4 is attached to the left and right of the non-height-adjustable part of the chassis 1.
- the lying surface foot part 17 is rotatably connected to the upper ends of a pair of scissors legs 10 via a pivot point 16.
- subframes 15 are rotatably fastened via a pivot point 14.
- Swivel castors 151 and 152 are attached to the subframes 15.
- the pair of scissors legs 9 is connected to the pair of scissors legs 10 via a pivot point 11.
- the lower ends of the legs of the pair of scissors legs 9 are connected via pivot point 12, each with a longitudinal guide 13.
- the upper ends of the pair of scissors legs 9 are each connected to a longitudinal guide 19 via a pivot point 18.
- the longitudinal guides 19 are slidably mounted in the lying surface foot part 17 in the longitudinal direction.
- a device 21 which is displaceable in the lying surface foot part 17 in the longitudinal direction and is preferably spring-loaded, engages in a frame part 26 of the lying surface seat part 7 attached to the upper region of the height adjustment 5 and locks this Lying surface foot part 17 in the vertical direction with the lying surface seat part and lying surface back part. After this locking, both the backrest part 6, the foot part 17 and the seat part 7 can be moved vertically together by means of the height adjustment 5.
- the locking device 21 is first unlocked by means of the adjusting device 22. Thereafter, the lying surface foot part 17 can be lowered vertically downwards and then inserted horizontally under the lying surface back and seat part.
- a longitudinally adjustable pressure element 23 can be arranged, which is articulated on the one hand in front of a pivot point 24 on the pair of scissors legs 10 and above a pivot point 25 on the pair of scissor legs 9.
- the arrangement of the pairs of swivel castors 2, 3, 151, 152 in connection with the overall structure described enables the patient bed to remain movable in all directions, both when the bed plate seat part 17 is pushed in and when it is raised and locked.

Description
