Abstract

2.1. Bei Klappschachteln für Zigaretten besteht das Problem, daß der Packungsinhalt (Zigaretten-Block 29) vielfach eine geringere Tiefe aufweist als der Innenraum der Packung. Der Zigaretten-Block (29) muß deshalb durch ein Füllstück abgestützt werden. 2.2. Als Füllstück ist ein Stützkörper (31) vorgesehen, der durch entsprechende Faltung einer Kragen-Vorderwand (25) eines in der Packung angeordneten Kragens (24) gebildet wird. Ein oberer Bereich der Kragen-Vorderwand (25) ist nach innen zurückgesetzt, derart, daß eine Stützwand (32) an dem (kleineren) Zigaretten-Block (29) anliegt. 2.3. Mit der Kragen-Vorderwand (25) verbundene Kragen-Seitenlappen (26, 27) erstrecken sich über die volle Tiefe des Innenraums der Packung und sind über parallel gefaltete Stege (37, 38) mit der Stützwand (32) verbunden. <IMAGE>

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine quaderförmige Packung aus (dünnem) Karton, inbesondere Klappschachtel zur Aufnahme einer Gruppe von in einen Innenzuschnitt eingehüllten Zigaretten (Zigaretten-Block), deren Abmessungen, insbesondere Tiefe kleiner ist als die korrespondierende Abmessung der Packung, wobei innerhalb eines in der Packung gegebenen Hohlraums ein Füllstück angeordnet ist.
  • Klappschachteln sind als Verpackung für Zigaretten weltweit verbreitet. Der Aufbau dieses Packungstyps ist weitgehend einheitlich. Dies gilt auch für die Abmessungen. Größenveränderungen sind mit weitreichenden Auswirkungen verbunden. So müssen Automaten für die Abgabe von Zigaretten-Packungen umgestaltet werden. In einigen Ländern werden Steuermarken durch Stempelaufdruck an den Packungen angebracht. Die Stempelaggregate sind auf vorgegebene Packungsabmessungen eingerichtet.
  • Andererseits werden zunehmend Zigaretten eingeführt, deren Durchmesser deutlich geringer ist als bei herkömmlichen Zigaretten. Daraus ergibt sich bei gleicher Anzahl eine geringere Abmessung des Zigaretten-Blocks, insbesondere der Tiefe. Innerhalb der Packung entsteht so ein Hohlraum, der durch Füllstücke aus Schaumstoff oder Wellkarton (teilweise) ausgefüllt wird.
  • Die Erfindung befaßt sich mit Verpackungen des vorgenannten Typs und auch mit dem Problem aufgrund des blockförmigen Packungsinhalts mit kleineren Abmessungen als der Innenraum der Packung.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, die Packung hinsichtlich Art, Gestaltung und Anordnung des Füllstücks zu verbessern, derart, daß dieses einen geringeren Materialaufwand erfordert und eine günstige Position innerhalb der Packung einnimmt.
  • Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist die erfindungsgemäße Packung dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Füllstück aus einem einen Teil der Packung bildenden Zuschnitt aus (dünnem) Karton besteht, der in eine dreidimensionale Gestalt gefaltet ist und sich über die volle Breite des Innenraums bzw. des Hohlraums der Packung erstreckt.
  • Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Gestaltung der Packung wird das Füllstück als Teil eines Zuschnitts ausgebildet, der standardmäßig zur Packung gehört, wobei das Füllstück derart ausgebildet ist, daß es sich über die volle Breite der Packung bzw. des Hohlraums erstreckt. Dadurch wird der Zigaretten-Block als Packungsinhalt über die volle Breite abgestützt.
  • Besonders vorteilhaft ist eine Ausführung der Erfindung, bei der ein Abstandhalter aus einer Kragen-Vorderwand eines standardmäßig in einer Packung des Typs Klappschachtel angeordneten Kragens gebildet ist. Die Kragen-Vorderwand ist gemäß diesem Erfindungsvorschlag mit einer sich über die Breite der Packung erstreckenden, durch Faltung gebildeten Vertiefung bzw. einem innenseitigen Vorsprung versehen, der sich über die volle Breite des Innenraums der Packung erstreckt und an dem der Zigaretten-Block als Packungsinhalt anliegt.
  • Dieser durch Faltungen im Bereich der Kragen-Vorderwand gebildete Stützkörper ist erfindungsgemäß im oberen Bereich der Kragen-Vorderwand angeordnet, so daß ein eine übliche Ausnehmung in der Kragen-Vorderwand umgebender Bereich derselben nach innen zurückgesetzt ist, während der übrige, untere Teil der Kragen-Vorderwand an der Innenseite der Packungs-Vorderwand bzw. der Schachtel-Vorderwand anliegt und mit dieser verbunden ist. Als untere Begrenzung weist der Stützkörper der Kragen-Vorderwand eine sich quer über die Breite derselben erstreckende Stützwand auf und diese ist erfindungsgemäß (etwa) mit einem oberen freien Rand der Schachtel-Vorderwand bündig. Die vorgenannte Stützwand kann auch mit Abstand unterhalb des freien Randes der Vorderwand angeordnet sein. In diesem Falle entsteht eine nach oben offene Kammer innerhalb der Packung.
  • Die Faltung der Kragen-Vorderwand zur Bildung des Stützkörpers ist nach einem weiteren Erfindungsvorschlag so ausgebildet, daß sich Kragen-Seitenlappen über die volle Tiefe der Packung (des Innenraums) erstrecken. Die Kragen-Seitenlappen sind mit der zurückgesetzten Stützwand des Stützkörpers über einen Faltsteg verbunden.
  • Weitere Merkmale der Erfindung betreffen die Ausgestaltung und Anordnung des Stützkörpers. Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Es zeigt:

  • Die Einzelheiten der Zeichnungen beziehen sich auf Packungen des Typs Klappschachtel (Hinge-Lid-Packung). Eine derartige Packung besteht aus einem Schachtelteil 10 und einem an einer Schachtel-Rückwand 11 schwenkbar angebrachten Klappdeckel 12. Der Schachtelteil 10 besteht weiterhin aus einer Bodenwand 13 und einer Schachtel-Vorderwand 14. Schachtel-Seitenwände 15, 16 sind durch einander überdeckende, innere und äußere Seitenlappen 17, 18 gebildet, die mit der Schachtel-Rückwand 11 (innere Seitenlappen 17) bzw. mit der Schachtel-Vorderwand 14 (äußere Seitenlappen 18) verbunden sind.
  • Der Klappdeckel 12 besteht ebenfalls aus Deckel-Vorderwand 19, Deckel-Rückwand 20, einer Stirnwand 21 und Deckel-Seitenwänden 22, 23.
  • Zur Packung gehört weiterhin ein Kragen 24, der bei dem vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel als gesonderter Zuschnitt (Fig. 4 und Fig. 5) ausgebildet ist.
  • Der Kragen 24 besteht aus einer Kragen-Vorderwand 25 und Kragen-Seitenlappen 26, 27.
  • Der Kragen 24 ist standardmäßig mit dem unteren Bereich im Schachtelteil 10 angeordnet. Ein unterer Bereich der Kragen-Vorderwand liegt an der Schachtel-Vorderwand 14 an und ist mit dieser durch Klebung verbunden. Gleichermaßen liegen die Kragen-Seitenlappen 26, 27 mit ihrem unteren Teil an der Innenseite der Schachtel-Seitenwände 15, 16 an, gegebenenfalls mit Verbindung durch Klebung. Ein aus dem Schachtelteil 10 herausragender, oberer Bereich des Kragens wird durch den Klappdeckel 12 in Schließstellung der Packung umschlossen.
  • Die so ausgebildete, quaderförmige Packung aus dünnem Karton ist besonders geeignet für die Aufnahme von Zigaretten oder anderen quaderförmigen Gegenständen. Die Zigaretten werden als Zigaretten-Gruppe formiert und sind durch einen Innenzuschnitt 28 umgeben (aus Stanniol). Es entsteht so ein quaderförmiger Zigaretten-Block 29.
  • Der Zigaretten-Block 29 als Packungsinhalt hat eine geringere Tiefe (Abmessung zwischen Schachtel-Rückwand 11 und Schachtel-Vorderwand 14) als die entsprechende Abmessung des Innenraums der Packung. In dieser entsteht dadurch ein nicht vom Packungsinhalt ausgefüllter Hohlraum 30. In diesem Hohlraum 30 befindet sich ein Füllstück, welches den Hohlraum 30 teilweise ausfüllt und den Zigaretten-Block 29 abstützt, so daß dieser praktisch spielfrei innerhalb der Packung gehalten ist.
  • Bei der dargestellten bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Packung befindet sich der Hohlraum 30 im vorderen Bereich der Packung. Der Zigaretten-Block 29 liegt demnach an der Schachtel-Rückwand 11 an.
  • Das Füllstück besteht hier aus einem Teil der standardmäßig ausgeführten Packung, nämlich aus einem Teil des Kragens 24. Die Kragen-Vorderwand 25 bildet durch entsprechende Faltung einen sich praktisch über die volle Breite der Packung bzw. des Innenraums erstreckenden Stützkörper 31. Dieser bildet zusammen mit weiteren Teilen der Packung, nämlich mit der Deckel-Vorderwand 19 und gegebenenfalls der Schachtel-Vorderwand 14 einen quaderförmigen Hohlkörper.
  • Zur Bildung des Stützkörpers 31 ist die Kragen-Vorderwand 25 etwa in halber Höhe winkelförmig gefaltet, derart, daß eine obere Stützwand 32 nach innen zurückgesetzt ist gegenüber einem unteren Verbindungslappen 33 der Kragen-Vorderwand 25. Stützwand 32 und Verbindungslappen 33 sind durch einen quergerichteten Faltstreifen 34 der Kragen-Vorderwand 25 miteinander verbunden. Es entsteht dadurch ein vorzugsweise rechtwinkliger Absatz im Bereich der Kragen-Vorderwand 25. Stützwand 32 und quergerichteter Faltstreifen 32 erstrecken sich über die volle Breite des Innenraums der Packung, nämlich von dem einen (in eine Querstellung gefalteten) Kragen-Seitenlappen 26 bis zum anderen Kragen-Seitenlappen 27. Die Stützwand 32 ist mit einer üblichen, nach oben offenen Ausnehmung 35 versehen, so daß die Stützwand 32 eine U-förmige Gestalt erhält.
  • Die Kragen-Seitenlappen 26, 27 sind lediglich im Bereich der nach innen zurückgesetzten Stützwand 32 mit der Kragen-Vorderwand 25 verbunden. Im Bereich von Faltstreifen 34 und Faltlappen 33 sind die Kragen-Seitenlappen 26, 27 durch aufrechte Trennschnitte 36 von der Kragen-Vorderwand 25 getrennt.
  • Dadurch ist die in Fig. 5 erkennbare Faltung möglich. Der Zuschnitt für den Kragen 24 (Fig. 4) hat eine größere Breite als bei herkömmlicher Ausbildung der Packung. Zwischen den Kragen-Seitenlappen 26, 27 einerseits und der Kragen-Vorderwand 25 andererseits wird ein Steg 37, 38 gebildet. Diese Stege 37, 38 werden mit der Stützwand 32 gefaltet, derart, daß sie an der Innenseite der Kragen-Seitenlappen 26, 27 anliegen. Der Kragen 24 bzw. der Stützkörper 31 erhält dadurch eine stabile dreidimensionale Gestalt. Die Kragen-Seitenlappen 26, 27 erstrecken sich über die volle Tiefe des Innenraums des Schachtelteils 10 und bilden belastbare Stützelemente durch die im Teilbereich doppelwandige Gestaltung.
  • Der im unteren Teil zungenartig ausgebildete Verbindungslappen 33 ist in üblicher Weise durch Klebung mit der Innenseite der Schachtel-Vorderwand 14 verbunden.
  • Der Faltstreifen 34 ist bei dem vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel in Höhe einer oberen freien Kante 39 des Schachtelteils 10 angeordnet, also mit dieser bündig. Die Faltung kann auch so gewählt sein, daß der Faltstreifen 34 und damit der innerhalb der Kragen-Vorderwand 25 gebildeter Absatz tiefer liegt, also innerhalb des Schachtelteils 10. Es entsteht dadurch im vorderen, oberen Bereich des Schachtelteils 10 eine nach oben offene Kammer, die zur Aufnahme von Hilfsgegenständen, wie Streichhölzern etc. geeignet ist.
  • Der in der beschriebenen Weise ausgebildete und angeordnete Stützkörper 31 befindet sich in einer für die Fixierung des Zigaretten-Blocks 29 vorteilhaften Höhe innerhalb der Packung. Der Stützkörper 31 kann mit geringem Materialaufwand und in maschinentechnisch günstiger Weise hergestellt werden.

Claims (6)

  1. Quaderförmige Packung aus (dünnem) Karton, inbesondere Klappschachtel zur Aufnahme einer Gruppe von in einen Innenzuschnitt eingehüllten Zigaretten (Zigaretten-Block), deren Abmessungen, insbesondere Tiefe kleiner ist als die korrespondierende Abmessung der Packung, wobei innerhalb eines in der Packung gegebenen Hohlraums ein Füllstück angeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Füllstück (Stützkörper 31) aus einem einen Teil der Packung bildenden Zuschnitt aus (dünnem) Karton besteht, der in eine dreidimensionale Gestalt gefaltet ist und sich über die volle Breite des Innenraums bzw. des Hohlraums der Packung erstreckt.

Packung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein in der Packung bzw. in einem Schachtelteil (10) derselben angeordneter Kragen (24) mit Kragen-Vorderwand (25) und Kragen-Seitenlappen (26, 27) im Bereich der Kragen-Vorderwand (25) eine sich über die Breite der Packung erstreckende, durch Faltung hergestellte Vertiefung bzw. einen nach innen gerichteten Vorsprung als Stützkörper (31) aufweist, entsprechend der Tiefenabmessung des Hohlraums.
  3. Packung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein oberer Bereich der Kragen-Vorderwand (25) durch winkelförmige Faltung gegenüber dem unteren Teil (Verbindungslappen 33) der Kragen-Vorderwand (25) zurückgesetzt ist, wobei der Verbindungslappen (33) an einer Vorderwand des Schachtelteils (10) (Schachtel-Vorderwand 14) anliegt und mit dieser verbunden ist.
  4. Packung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kragen-Seitenlappen (26, 27) die Tiefe des Innenraums der Packung aufweisen und sich bis zur Schachtel-Vorderwand (14) erstrecken, wobei die Kragen-Seitenlappen (26, 27) im vorderen Bereich der Packung über je einen an der Innenseite der Kragen-Seitenlappen (26, 27) anliegenden, parallel verlaufenden Steg (37, 38) mit einer zurückgesetzten Stützwand (32) des Stützkörpers (31) verbunden sind.
  5. Packung nach Anspruch 2 sowie einem oder mehreren der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der durch die winkelförmige Faltung der Kragen-Vorderwand (25) gebildete Absatz (Faltstreifen 34) mit einer oberen freien Kante (39) des Schachtelteils (10) bündig abschließt.
  6. Packung nach Anspruch 2 sowie einem oder mehreren der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der durch die winkelförmige Faltung der Kragen-Vorderwand (25) gebildete Absatz (Faltstreifen 34) unterhalb der freien, oberen Kante (39) der Schachtel-Vorderwand (14) gebildet ist, derart, daß eine von der Schachtel-Vorderwand (14) und der Stützwand (32) begrenzte, oben offene Kammer gebildet ist.
