Definitions

  • the invention relates to a packaging for protecting electronic devices from damage in transit according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Packaging of this type is generally known.
  • sensitive goods such as electronic devices in the entertainment industry, kitchen machines and appliances, measuring instruments etc.
  • Molded parts made of polystyrene are used, which are attached to the device to be packaged and packed together with it in a transport container.
  • Styrofoam can be burned in waste incineration plants, but this combustion process must take place at a temperature of> 1000 ° C. If the combustion temperature remains below 1000 ° C, pollutants such as unburned hydrocarbons are formed in addition to CO2. Most of today's waste incineration plants operate at temperatures between 600 and 850 ° C.
  • packaging pads made of cardboard or corrugated cardboard as packaging material.
  • DE-GM 1 906 464 describes a packaging cushion which is cut and shaped or folded accordingly and is used as a damping agent for packaged goods packed in a container.
  • a packaging cushion essentially always consists of a piece of flat material which is folded into several layers lying one above the other and from the side facing the packaged product is provided with recesses matching the packaged product in at least the first of the successive layers. Cardboard, cardboard or corrugated cardboard is suggested as the material.
  • the shape and size of the finished packaging cushion is already defined in the cut of the flat material.
  • the flat material In accordance with the later intended use of the packaging cushion, the flat material must have the necessary outlines, recesses, free cuts, bending notches, etc.
  • the problem of the space required for the transport and storage of the packaging parts is small, and the disposal of the used packaging is far less problematic than that of polystyrene, but there are considerable costs in the production of the packaging parts.
  • the flat blanks have to be provided with the above-mentioned contours, recesses, cut-outs, bending notches, etc., which requires considerable use of tools and labor, and on the other hand, the packaging pads have to be changed from their flat shape to their final shape immediately before use Form, which is also quite time consuming and expensive.
  • a packaging according to DE-OS 2 058 417 is also known. It is proposed there to produce a packaging cushion made of plastic, metal or natural material films and molding compounds, which is used to hold various goods with a mostly rectangular side cross-section, at least one side length of the packaged goods corresponding to the side length of the pocket molded into the packaging cushion. In order to achieve the necessary stability of the packaging cushion, it must be reinforced before it is used. This is done in that one or more reinforcement parts are formed on the main packaging part to be reinforced, which are folded onto the main packaging part and clamped with the latter before the packaging cushion is inserted.
  • FIG. 4 Another packaging is known from US-A-2863595.
  • This is packaging for packaging a rectangular packaged product, for example a watch.
  • the packaging envelops the packaged goods on four sides, as can be seen from FIG. 4.
  • the individual packaging elements consist of elongated basic bodies provided with various shaped elevations and depressions: the elevations and depressions are individually shaped so that the goods to be packed later lie on surfaces of the elevations and in the support plane extend from the outside of the packaged goods, further Surveys, is secured against moving.
  • the individual parts of the base body hang together using hinge-like connections. The position of the hinge-like connections is chosen so that the special packaged goods are partially covered by folding up the parts.
  • the wrapped packaged goods can now be accommodated in a container, for example a transport container.
  • a "molded pulp" is given as the material for the base body, which means, for example, the material of well-known egg packaging.
  • CH-A-436 109 for example, a so-called “egg packaging” is described.
  • This packaging consists of cast cellulose or papierzanché with elevations and depressions protruding from the surface upwards and downwards, which are shaped in such a way that they form spatial containers enclosing the packed eggs, especially when two or more packaging parts are stacked on top of one another.
  • This packaging is a special packaging for packaging that always has the same shape.
  • the pulp material does not in itself have too great a strength. It is only because of the special shape of the packaging elements according to the invention that it is suitable for use as device packaging for heavy goods such as television, video and audio devices.
  • the packaging can e.g. for transportation or warehousing are nested one inside the other, whereby a volume reduced to a minimum can be achieved. Storage and transport costs are reduced.
  • Disposing of the packaging according to the invention is completely unproblematic and environmentally friendly because the material is both combustible and rotten.
  • the hollow profile part 1 consisting of several hollow profile elements 2 is designed in such a way that the required elastic deformability arises and that several hollow profile parts can be placed on top of one another or nested inside one another.
  • the hollow profile elements 2 can have the shape of single or multiple truncated cones, paraboloid or spherical caps.
  • FIG. 2 shows an illustration in which the device 3 is enclosed on all sides by the packaging consisting of seven hollow profile parts and the space between the device 3 and the transport container 4 is thereby filled. To simplify the illustration, the section through the packaging is hatched.
  • An embodiment of an opened package shows 3.
  • the areas in which the individual hollow profile parts have hollow profile elements are hatched for simplicity.
  • the embodiment shown represents a packaging that encloses the device on all sides. By other design, for example by omitting hollow profile parts, fewer sides of the device can be enclosed if desired.
  • the individual hollow profile parts are connected to one another by hinge-like connections 12. These connections each contain at least one target bending point 5 ', 8', 10 ', so that the hollow profile parts can be folded into a shape enveloping the device.
  • the packaging can be folded up in an extremely space-saving manner in accordance with FIG. 4.
  • the distances between the desired bending points 5'- 5 '', 8'- 8 '', 10'-10 '' on each connection are designed differently according to the desired type of folding.
  • hollow profile elements 2 By designing the hollow profile elements 2 according to FIG. 5, it is possible to stack the hollow profile parts 1 on top of one another. Since the surfaces of the hollow profile elements meeting one another have interlocking elevations 2a or depressions 2b, lateral fixing of the hollow profile parts 1 to one another is provided.
  • the hollow profile parts 1 according to FIG. 6 can be stacked one inside the other.
  • the delay path that the device has available for the case can be varied within wide limits by stacking the hollow profile parts on top of one another.
  • the packaging shown in FIG. 7 consists of a transport container 4 and two packaging elements 23 holding the device 3.
  • the two packaging elements are plugged onto the latter and pushed into the transport container 4 as a unit. After closing the transport container, the packaging is ready for dispatch.
  • a packaging element 23 which has the shape of a hollow profile part.
  • a longitudinal profile 17 and three transverse profiles 16 crossing this longitudinal profile at right angles protrude from the surface 19.
  • the recess 14, which has a much smaller depth than the longitudinal and transverse profiles, has the outline shape of the side part of a device to be packaged.
  • the support 18, the transverse guide 24 and the longitudinal guide 25 are the contact surfaces between the device 3 and the packaging element 23.
  • a second recess 15 with a smaller depth than the recess 14 forms the shoulders 20 and the steps 21.
  • the presence of the recess 15 brings about greater flexural and torsional rigidity of the packaging element 23. Due to the position and size of the recess 15, the packaging element can be damped in this way device to be packaged.
  • the bead 22 protruding upward from the surface 19 gives the packaging element additional rigidity.
  • the longitudinal and transverse profiles and the depressions are formed from the surface 19 tapering. The stackability of the packaging elements according to the invention is thereby achieved.
  • FIG. 11 shows a device 3 with its narrow side inserted in a packaging element 23.
  • the transverse guides 24 and the longitudinal guide 25 fix the device.
  • the sections of the packaging element that protrude above the device profile fill the space between device 3 and the transport container (not shown here) and thereby form the desired damping zone.
  • FIG. 12 shows a device packaged in accordance with FIG. 7 as a sectional view through a transport container 4 with a view of the operating part of the device.
