Abstract

A concealed lower corner bearing intended for turn, especially turn-and-tilt windows, doors or the like is equipped with a link mechanism (3), which is arranged between the wing lower edge and the lower transverse spar of the fixed frame (1) and which, during the turn-opening of the wing (2), causes a displacement of the axis of rotation of the wing occurring transversely relative to the wing plane, and furthermore with a supporting bar (11) which is arranged between the fixed frame (1) and the wing (2) in the region of the axis of rotation and which is supported with its lower end (11') on the fixed frame (1) and cooperates in carrying the wing (2) in the region of the axis of rotation. To prevent the wing (2) from sagging when it is being turn-opened, the supporting bar (11), guided vertically displaceably at its upper end on the wing frame (2) and designed as a supporting scissor mechanism, is equipped with a suspension link (12) which is articulated approximately centrally on it and from the lower end (12') of which the wing frame (2) is suspended. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a concealed lower corner bearing for pivoting, in particular pivoting / tilting windows, doors or the like, with an arranged between the lower edge of the wing and the lower cross member of the fixed frame, when opening the wing, one transverse to the wing plane subsequent displacement of the wing pivot axis effecting linkage and an arranged between the fixed frame and wing in the pivot axis area, extending substantially in the longitudinal direction of the arm.

A concealed lower corner bearing of the above type is known from DE-U-89 07 630.

The invention has for its object to provide a corner bearing of the type mentioned, which is easier Design reliably prevents the sash from moving in the vertical direction when it opens.

This object is achieved on the basis of a generic corner bearing according to the invention by the characterizing part of claim 1.

In this way, there is no vertical displacement of the wing when the wing is opened, since the suspension point of the wing at the lower end of the hanging link only undergoes a horizontal shift relative to the lower end of the support rod.

The support rod is advantageously tapered at its lower end like a trunnion and above it is supported in a bearing pot on a fixed frame rail at its end facing the axis of rotation, while the hanging joint is hook-like at its free lower end and angled upwards in one at the end of a sash frame rail on the axis of rotation attached hook eye is hooked.

The interacting with the new support scissors handlebar linkage is advantageous of the type known from claim 8 of DE-PS 21 13 665, namely provided with a fixed on the lower cross member of the fixed frame near the axis of rotation fixed support arm and two articulated, articulated parallel to the lower edge of the wing articulated parallel link , which, together with the support arm and the lower edge of the wing, form a handlebar parallelogram, and the one parallel link is extended via its joint connection point on the support arm to a control arm which is guided with its free end in a guide slot provided on the fixed frame so as to be longitudinally displaceable. However, while in the known linkage design the control arm in the extension of the parallel link near the pivot axis and the guide slot for the free control arm end lie in the area of the support arm or the handlebar parallelogram and thereby still require a correspondingly wide corner bearing design, according to a further feature of the invention the control arm is present on the parallel link located at a distance from the wing axis of rotation and the guide slot is arranged outside the pivoting range of the support arm.

In this way, all parts of the lower corner bearing linkage in the wing closed position are congruent with each other, so that the entire corner bearing is then as narrow as it corresponds to the normal width of its individual links or arms. In this way, such a handlebar linkage can also be installed without any problems even in the case of such narrow construction methods which require tilt-and-pivot windows provided with center seals.

  • Fig.4 die zu Fig.3 gehörende Draufsicht.
In the drawing, an advantageous embodiment of the new concealed lower corner bearing is shown. Show

The rotating / tilting window shown in Fig.1 consists of the fixed frame 1 and the hinged window sash, which can be rotated both about a vertical axis and tiltable about a lower horizontal axis 2. For this purpose, the sash is at its lower corner on the roof side above the in Fig.1 generally designated 3 corner bearings on the one hand and provided with an above-arranged, generally designated 4 scissors or connected to the fixed frame 1 above. Both the lower corner bearing 3 and the upper one The opening device 4, as shown in FIG. 1, is arranged so that it is completely concealed, so that nothing can be seen from the outside of these fitting parts. Only the actuating handle 5 required for operating the opening device 4 via a connecting rod gear is visible as a window fitting part and is directly accessible. The upper display device 4 is of a conventional nature. The narrow construction known from DE-OS 29 40 049 is advantageously used for this.

The lower corner bearing 3 has a linkage which, when the wing 2 is rotated, causes the lower end of its axis of rotation to be displaced transversely to the wing plane. This handlebar linkage is in particular of the nature clearly visible in FIG. It consists of the fixed frame rail 6 to be attached to the lower cross bar 1 'of the fixed frame 6, the supporting link 7, the two parallel link arms 8 and 9 with the control arm 9' located in its extension, and the sash frame rail 10 to be attached to the lower edge of the wing 2 3 and 4 in the pivot axis area between the fixed frame 1 and the wing 2 in the pivot axis area and essentially extending in the longitudinal direction of the support rod 11 with the approximately articulated hinge joint 12 at its lower end, at the lower end of the wing 2 hangs.

The support arm 7 is articulated with its one end near the axis of rotation via the pin 13 on the fixed frame rail 6 and with its other end via the hinge pin 14 with the control arm 9 'and the parallel link 9 articulated. Furthermore, the parallel link 8 is articulated with the support arm 7 via the pivot pin 14 '. The parallel links 8, 9 are articulated immovably on the casement rail 10 via the hinge pins 15, 16. The parallel link 8.9 together with the support link 7 and the sash rail 10 form a link parallelogram.

A guide slot 17 is provided on the fixed frame rail 6 outside the pivoting range of the supporting link 7, in which the fixed frame side end 9˝ of the control arm is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner via the articulation guide pin 18. In this way, the sash rail 10 and thus the wing are controlled during its rotary opening movement in cooperation with the support arm 7 so that the lower wing corner describes an approximate circular movement about the fictitious axis of rotation of the wing.

On the fixed frame rail 6, an upwardly projecting stop bar 6 'is provided on the outer edge, on which in the wing closed position of the support arms 7 and the two parallel links 8, 9 lie. Furthermore, on the upper side of the sash rail 10 there are fastening heads 20 which are penetrated by fastening screw holes 19 and which engage in a groove provided on the lower edge of the sash frame and ensure secure fastening of the rail 10 to the sash.

The support rod 11 and the approximately articulated hinge 12 form a scissor stay, which contributes significantly to the removal of the sash weight in the pivot area, so that the handlebars 7,8,9 and 9 'of the corner joint remain substantially relieved. Both the support rod 11 and the hanging joint 12 consist of correspondingly punched flat material, the hanging joint being shaped into a U-shaped fork profile encompassing the supporting rod 11.

The support rod 11 is tapered at its lower end 11 'like a trunnion and above it is supported in a spherical joint on a fixed frame rail 6 at its end facing the axis of rotation at the end of the bearing pot 21. At its upper end, the support rod 11 has a sliding head 22 made of plastic, which is guided in a guide rail 23 provided on the sash frame 2 so that it can slide and slide.

The hanging joint 12 is hook-shaped at its lower end and is hooked above it into the hook eye 24, which is attached at the pivot axis end of the sash frame 10 and is angled upward. Because the hanging joint 12 has a fork profile owns, are provided at its free leg ends to form the hook 12 'T-shaped incisions 12˝, while at the pivot axis end of the sash rail 10, the retaining eyelet 24 provided here is provided with two eyelet slots lying side by side.

Since the support scissors consisting of the support rod 11 and the suspension arm 12 perform a corresponding tilting movement with respect to the support rod 11 during the wing rotation opening movement, as can be seen in particular in FIG. 3, and thus also the articulation point 25 between the support rod 11 and the suspension arm 12 undergoes a corresponding shift downwards, but this is at the same time compensated for by the opposite pivoting movement of the hanging link 12, so that the lower end of the hanging link 12 undergoes a horizontal shift, and consequently the wing 2 cannot sag on the rotary axis side.

Various modifications are possible within the scope of the present invention. So instead of the lower corner bearing linkage shown, other known linkage can be used, which cause a corresponding displacement of its axis of rotation when opening the wing.
