Abstract

The invention relates to a steamer (10) having a treatment space which is subdivided into treatment sections with a circulation of the treatment medium and through which the material web is guided in hanging loops during treatment, and relates particularly to a steamer for the steaming of indanthrene prints on 100% viscose. It is intended to prevent an overheating of the saturated steam in zones where exothermal heat occurs. For this, it is proposed, according to the invention, to subdivide the entry section (11) of the steamer into a region (12), in which the formation of the material loops is carried out and in which the introduction of all the saturated fresh steam for treatment takes place, without any controlled circulation of the steam, and into a region (13), in which the material-web loops, hanging on the supporting bars, are already deposited on the transport chain and in which a circulation of the fresh steam takes place and a controlled steam humidification is carried out. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a damper with treatment room divided into treatment sections with circulation of the treatment medium, through which the material web is guided during the treatment in hanging loops and relates in particular to a damper for damping indanthrene pressures to 100% viscose.

Dampers of the type mentioned above are generally used for the use of saturated steam or superheated steam, depending on the dye used and the material of the textile web. For the setting of the optimal conditions for the respective treatment, they are provided with means for steam guidance and steam moistening and also with heating registers, which are used specifically in the individual sections of the treatment room traversed by the web. An exception to this is the infeed section, in which the web is picked up by the feed drum and placed on the support bars of the transport chain.

Practice has now shown that it is precisely in this section that, at the beginning of the steaming treatment, certain dyes or dye-web material combinations lead to the formation of considerable exothermic heat, which leads to undesired overheating of the steam and the steaming process with the fixation of the dye adversely affected.

The object of the invention is to solve these disadvantages and to prevent overheating of the saturated steam especially in zones with the accumulation of exothermic heat.

According to the invention, for a damper of the type mentioned at the outset, it is proposed that the inlet section of the damper be in an area in which the web loops are formed and in which the entire saturated live steam is introduced for treatment without targeted circulation of the steam and in one area , in which the material web loops are already deposited on the supporting rods and are suspended on the transport chain and in which the fresh steam is circulated and the steam is specifically moistened.

For moistening the steam, mist nozzles should be arranged in the downstream treatment area of the inlet section on both sides of the material web, through which steam saturation of the steam overheated by the exothermic heat takes place by formation of a large number of tiny condensate droplets. In order to extend the contact time of the mist droplets with the steam and thereby improve the heat exchange, the mist nozzles should be attached to the damper housing by pointing 45 ° up or down. The supply of water to the mist nozzles should be appropriate depending on the temperature in the inlet of the damper near the web by supply or Switch off in a cascade.

According to a further feature of the invention, the supply of all the saturated live steam required for the steaming treatment should take place in the inlet section above the feed drum and in the area of the loop formation. The steam should then flow through the treatment with repeated circulation in direct current to the web. In order to support the direct current, a special suction for a part of the exhaust steam can be provided at the bottom of the outlet section.

Based on the accompanying illustration of a damper according to the invention, this will be explained in more detail below.

In the drawing, the damper as a whole, in particular its treatment room, is designated by 10. It has an inlet section 11, a more or less large number of normal treatment sections 14 depending on the operational requirements, and an outlet section 15. The web 20 is introduced into the inlet and outlet sections in a known manner through a goods inlet 16 from below or discharged downwards through a goods outlet 17 in order to ensure the greatest possible freedom from air in the treatment room.

According to the invention, the inlet section 11 is now divided into the areas 12 and 13. In the area 12 there are the feed drum 18 for the web 20, as well as the means for forming loops on supporting bars 19. In this area there is also the feed 23 for all the saturated live steam required for the treatment, as can be seen, above the feed drum 18 and arranged the area of the loop formation, so that the incoming web is flowed. In the area 13, in which the web already hangs in loops, mist nozzles 22 are attached in the housing on both sides of the web, through which cooling liquid is introduced into the treatment room in a finely divided form, in order to avoid the overheating that occurs in particular at the beginning of the treatment due to the formation of exothermic heat absorb the steam and convert it back into saturated steam. In this area, the steam is then circulated by means of fans 21 to even out the steam state in this entire area, as is also the case in the subsequent normal sections 14, the fans being able to be switched so that they are on both sides blow the material web against each other, or that only one fan runs per section, but the sides change, so that a counter arrangement is created which supports the direct current flow of the steam through the housing.
