Bei vorliegender Maschine wird die Waare anfangs horizontal geführt, so dafs sie die Heizflächen nicht direct berührt, sondern nur über bewegte, erwärmte Luft hinläuft und dadurch ein Vortrocknen unter Breiten- und Fadenführung stattfindet. Dieses Vortrocknen unter fixirter Führung ist bei allen Waaren von grofsem Vortheil und ein unbedingtes Erfordernifs für leichte Gewebe und für die mit unechten Farben bedruckten Stoffe, welch letztere sich sonst leicht in Breite, Muster und Farben verändern könnten. Mit möglichster Ruhe und Schonung ist dabei das Gewebe einer Luftwärme ausgesetzt, welche aus schlangenförmig angeordneten, mit Dampf und Condensationswasser geheizten Röhren ausstrahlt, die auf dem durch die Windungen besonders ·· verlängerten Wege die vorhandene Wärme in der ergiebigsten Weise ausnutzen und dadurch zur Ersparnifs an Brennmaterial beitragen.In the present machine, the goods are initially guided horizontally so that they touch the heating surfaces not touched directly, but only runs over moving, heated air and through it predrying takes place with width and thread guidance. Auch können die Cylinder, von denen auf der Zeichnung zwei oben und einer unter diesen dargestellt sind, welche Anordnung speciell hier getroffen wurde, um das Gewebe möglichst wenig sich freitragen zu lassen, verschiedenartig, in gröfserer oder geringerer Anzahl, neben oder über einander liegend, benutzt werden, und wird hierbei vor allen Dingen das Lieferquantum mafsgebend sein.
